Johambubger
Came back to this game after not playing it since it came out on PS+ because I saw there was a double XP event going on. Is it just me, or do you get very little XP per match, even when its supposedly twice the amount? It doesn't really seem to matter what game mode I play, or how well I do. Whether my team gets absolutely stomped on the soccer mode, or I get 10 knockouts on Mega Rocket and we win by a landslide, I'm barely able to scrounge up half a level per match. Its been a while, but it really didn't seem this slow when I played the game before. With how long the queue times can be, it feels like its going to take forever to get to level 100 with a character. Am I missing something? Is this a git gud moment, or is there a good strategy for getting more XP? Edited July 16, 2021 by johamburgers
DesmaBR
The only thing that counts for XP is the time you spend on a match. You should just play the bots mode and just piss around until the time expires. That's how I did it, but idk if that works anymore
mujabees
Yep time matters most and Co op arena is your friend kind of (godlike bots) . I also find winning and getting some kos adds more xp per match. 2xp definitely works finished off my last 20 odd levels quicker this weekend. Took me about 29 hours for plat with 1 dbl xp for 20 odd levels.
LaneBoyGoner
Getting into overtime will net you 1k xp with the double xp event and it doesn’t matter if you win or lose. Although winning will give you additional xp, the trouble of pitting against those godlike bots is not worth it imo.
