Popular Post RoastedPeanut
Update #3 Not a huge update. After finishing off Mary Skelter: Nightmares, I decided against Dragon Quest Builders and jumped straight into Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus. Love the series and this one is pretty solid. It shouldn't take too long to platinum. Seeing as I won't be home for awhile, I decided to use one of my swaps for another Vita game. Sorry Atelier Ryza 2 but I'll get back to you one day. I’ll be knocking those off pretty soon so I wanted to get them included in the event if possible. Thanks! Also if anyone wants to give me BBcode lessons too it seems I badly need them. ? rjkclarke
Been a blast reading through everyone's progress so far. 4 hours ago, dieselmanchild said: Why doesn’t this site have a preview button? It does if you are using a PC, but then on PC you can just highlight text and click on the big B to make whatever you want bold - which you might not be on PC I'm guessing... so that probably isn't helpful for you..... ? My bad. I actually more wanted to make this post as a way to say Congrats on those platinums - I hope you had a good time with X-Men Origins. I think that's pretty top of the tree as far as movie licensed games go, it certainly blows its movie counterpart out of the water. How did you find Lords of the Fallen by the way? I was thinking of adding that if/when I get through the ten games I've already allocated - it's not really something I had on the agenda to play any time soon, but this event has already motivated me to a play a couple of games I really wasn't planning to play anyway, so I thought that one might be worth chucking on too. Looks like you've got some really interesting games coming up too, hope you enjoy those. oh and this isn't an afterthought @YaManSmevz - I just can't seem to figure out a concrete way of quoting between pages, if you only want to highlight small bits of text..... Nonetheless, It's great to see your making a real dent in Hitman now - I hope your enjoying it, because that is such a fantastic game.

Yo I'm really glad I got over myself and came back to it, Hitman is such a blast. The levels are gorgeous, the controls are smooth, and the unintentional hilarity of the NPCs is so great.

I am typically using an IPad to post here and the formatting can get pretty irritating. Simple things like italics and bolding text are no problem, but once I start doing things like colourizing text or centering images, it throws my whole posts out of whack for some reason. For example, I tried to highlight all my completed games in green text, wrapping them each individually in the green color codes, but then instead it made the entire post green and showed a bunch of broken codes in random places. It’s embarrassing having to edit a post like 20 times to fix all these little things that break when a simple preview button would work wonders. As for X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Wow! I was really not expecting it to be such an awesome game. For starters, I am not really a big superhero fan so a superhero game is not necessarily an automatic win for me. I’m also well aware that most movie licensed games are complete trash lol. But this one was actually pretty high quality, and the hack n slash gameplay was loads of fun, especially for me as I’m a big fan of those old God of War style hack and slash games! If the new Wolverine game that is coming out is going to feel and play anything like this one did, it’s going to be amazing. I am definitely hyped for it now! This is what I wrote about Lords of the Fallen in the Ultra-Rare Cleanup thread here. As you’re probably aware, the game has a pretty bad reputation, and was initially a bit of a rough start for me (I hated it for the first few hours lol), but actually ended up being a very enjoyable game once I settled into it. I just went back and mopped up the DLC last night and overall I’d have to say I had a lot of fun with it. I’m really happy to clear it from the backlog too because it’s been sitting there and collecting dust for several years now. It’s definitely worth a look if you enjoy Soulslike games. ?

The only draw back to wolverine are the dogtags if I remember. Some of them were quite hard to get. But yah slashing through the enemies was a blast. Yeah there’s a lot of them (around 95 iirc) and while most of them are fairly easy to find, there’s a handful that are highly missable. And there’s no trackers. Luckily there is an excellent text guide on PlayStation Trophies for all the collectibles so I had no problem following along as I played. The only aspect of the game I disliked was hard mode being locked and the lack of NG+ and the way upgrades don’t carry over. It didn’t make a lot of sense to me, as it’s virtually impossible to get anywhere near the max combat reflexes & unlock all the skills by the end of a playthrough, yet none of this stuff carries over into new game/hard mode. So you end up wasting a lot of time grinding enemies out in chapter select to max out Wolverine, only to start hard mode from a new game file with none of your stats or upgrades. Maxing out your upgrades is really just for the sake of trophies and has no real purpose beyond that.
Popular Post damcrac5
Completion #2 This game was apparently not on my list, so it will be one of my multiple swaps in this post(more to follow), but has been on the backlog since the initial PS4 release. Having taken a long break, I needed to get it done, and I decided to give it ago. Not going to lie, I originally didn't enjoy the game much, but by the time I completed my first playthrough, it was a blast running through the campaign and the city again with Evil Karma. Shows me that even though a game is on my backlog and I want to complete it, I still need to make sure that I'm in the right frame of mind before starting. As for current progress, I am about half way through Sly Cooper Thievius Racoonus for Vita. What a great game. Nothing difficult and it is absolutely perfect for the Vita. Depending on how the rest of the games go, I may consider playing them on PS3 to add the mini games trophy list and a full completion of available trophy lists. As for my other works-in-progress. I didn't include Minecraft on the list due to the issues with the Bedrock edition(the version of my digital copy) being able to access the minigames for the DLC packs 2 and 5. However, after getting a hold of an original Minecraft disc, the one with steve in diamond armor, I was able to leverage a work-around and got all the trophies in an evening. I really wanted this game on the list, despite me using a trophy world, because it is a game that I've been playing with my son, which means a lot to me. Now the big addition/swap(s). I just got my 65" LG C1 OLED TV. I needed a game that would be visually worthy of playing on it. I bought Kena: Bridge of Spirits on release day because it looked incredible. Reviews and gameplay look good so might as well just add it on to the list and be the first game on the new set-up. A close second was Demon's Souls, which I have been saving for when I was going to purchase the TV. I'll likely have to add it to the list, but for now, I'll stick with 3 additions. Completions: (2/26) inFamous: Second Son (PS4) MLB 14 The Show (VITA) Swaps: (3/5) In: inFamous: Second Son Minecraft Kena: Bridge of Spirits Out: Spyro Trilogy Currently Working: Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS5) Sly Cooper: Thievius Racoonus Always fun to read everyone's progress. Now get back to clearing that backlog! Original List(Completions/Swaps): Spoiler Maneater (PS5) - 4% MLB 14 The Show (VITA) - 32% (Not sync'd but am at 7/22 Trophies) Horizon: Zero Dawn Ratchet and Clank 2: Going Commando (PS3) Uncharted Drake's Fortune: Remastered Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal (PS3) Madden 22 (PS4) Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered (PS5) Madden 11 (PS3) Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked (PS3) Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered Spyro ----- inFamous Secon Sond Spyro 2 ---- Minecraft Spyro 3 ----- Kena: Bridge of Spirits Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Remastered Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time (PS3) Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Ratchet & Clank: All-4-One (PS3) The Wolf Among Us (PS3) Game of Thrones (PS4) Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (PS3) Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus (Vita) Sly Cooper 2: Band of Thieves (Vita) Sly Cooper 3: Honor Among Thieves (Vita) Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (Vita) Edited September 23, 2021 by damcrac5

Popular Post ladynadiad
1. Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny - 14% 2. Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom - 31% ---> 87% 3. Resonance of Fate - 10% 4. Drakengard 3 - 0% 5. Dragon Quest XI - 0% 6. Flower - 47% Been a while since I last updated because I planned on doing so when I finished Shiness, which I still haven't done. Why? Because I'm having the worst luck imaginable on my subsequent playthroughs. Yes, playthroughs. I'm on #4 now because my previous two glitched before I could finish them but I was far enough in them that I've lost 20 hours to this nonsense. Second playthrough glitched at one point where you defeat some monsters and then a door opens. The door failed to open and I couldn't go any further. Start over, get nearly to that point again and get another glitch that forced me into a battle that was with an enemy six levels higher than me. I was maybe one hit away from beating it but also taking a huge risk with how low of HP I was, and accidentally stepped on a trap and game overed before I could quit out. It was the stupidest mistake ever on my part but the glitch that forced me into that sure pisses me off. Seriously guys, if you haven't started this game and own it, avoid it like the plague. It might be a reasonable enough trophy list, but the glitches are awful and it's not that good of a game that I would actually want to play it four times.

Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 5 - I ended up using a few spoiler tags to trim down the length of the post, I'm really wordy today it seems! Also, we are officially in Autumn! This is my favourite season of the year, cold weather, blue skies, all those lovely autumn colours. Judgment Spoiler The quest for challenge & mini-game completion continues in Judgment and with it, a tiny bit of trophy progress. I moved over to the Dragon's Palace gambling building, which is basically a semi-abandoned apartment complex claimed by a band of entrepreneurs comprising of homeless guys, drifters and elderly men who seem to have combined forces to create both a place to live and a gambling space for those in the know. A mysterious old man on the top floor is also available to guide me on making 'Extracts' - which are effectively potions that give me a variety of buffs depending on how I brew them. Funny thing is, these potions are brewed using a suspicious range of chemicals and household cleaning products (among other weird stuff). My character so far seems like an incredibly intelligent fellow, so it makes me chuckle sometimes when he chugs an extract brewed from an old tyre, bleach and a discarded bit of wire to increase his enemy loot drop chance. That's not a criticism really, it's a pretty great reminder that this game is still set in the Yakuza universe with all it's wacky weirdness despite it running a pretty serious tone. Anyway, that was a tangent, back to the progress update - I finished the challenge requirements for Blackjack and now i'm about halfway through Poker. Once i'm finished there, i'll head up to the other gambling area and get the Koi-Koi and Oichu Kabu requirements done. After that, I think i'm pretty much fully done with all of the gambling stuff. After that there are two other major mini-game related areas i'm going to focus on. Drone Racing & Paradise VR. I'm already prepping for Drone Racing by collecting a pretty massive shopping list of parts so I can craft everything in one go and focus more on completing all the Drone Race leagues and trials themselves. Paradise VR is a bit of a mystery so far, it has alot of completion requirements, so that might take a while. The weekend approaches! We're almost at the weekend! I'm going to spend most of my gaming time with a mix of Judgment and Tales of Arise which I can't wait to play more of. I won't be around on Friday night because I'm actually seeing some friends that I haven't seen in person for about 2 years now. It's going to feel really weird actually seeing people face to face doing something which was so easy to do before the pandemic hit. Can't wait! I don't have any plans beyond that for the weekend, so i'm looking forward to chilling out with my cats and some gaming & movies. Two that stopped progression entirely (had a backup for one luckily) and once that forced me to take a harder route that resulted in me screwing up and voiding the game over trophy. Invincible is the trophy from hell and I haven't even gotten to the worst part for that trophy yet. If they made the no game overs trophy more fair and resolved the game breaking glitches it wouldn't be a bad game at all but it's a huge mess in its current state and won't ever be fixed because the dev went bankrupt.

Two have very similar attack styles that do not allow you to spam since after you fire three times it runs across the ground, which slows you down. One is small and shoots straight ahead. The last is the OG pumpkin and has the weakest attack out of all the characters. Now that I know all the extra life points it helps. Popular Post Heather342
Update 5 So I don't really have much to update this week. I've not really played much at all as I try and rest my hand, it still has a little bit of pain in the thumb joint, but I think it is easing so I think I'll rest it for another 10 days or so. I'm looking forward to my spooky season pick to play Alien Isolation in October ? Progress wise, just another 2 trophies in Two Point Hospital. At my current stage in the game it's mostly just the grind for 3 star hospitals at every location. I'm working through the hospitals in the Pointy Mountains region now, and I've managed to get the trophy for getting 30 stars. Still have a fairly long way to go though, including all the DLC hospitals I'll need to get 81 stars, but it's a fun game to pick up and play. Trophy progress: - Two Point Hospital - 45 -> 49%

I guess I was a little quick in making my initial list and getting started! @MidnightDragon, could you please be the judge on this? I have no problems with using a swap here. Well, I’d rather you not, but can’t really force you not to, either, so…

Popular Post neospoon
Update #3 I've decided to add Driver San Francisco to my list. I started the game during the challenge and it's already up to 42%. But I originally only added Tomb Raider: Underworld as a higher percentage game. I think this is within the rules? If not I'll take it off again, but will finish it anyway. If it's against the rules I'll swap out another game for it. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - 0% > 100% (47/47) Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed - 17% > 51% > 62% (38/49) Driver San Francisco - 42% - (24/51) Silent Hill: Book of Memories - 28% (22/62) Just Cause 4 - 1% > 7% (8/61) Dead Space 3 - 14% > 17% (14/59) Tomb Raider: Underworld (JP) - 44% (19/33) God of War: Ascension - 21% (13/36) Rayman Legends - 21% (14/51) Gravity Rush 2 - 15% (11/48) Dead Space 3 - 14% (10/59) MediEvil - 13% (8/39) Little Nightmares - 4% (2/22) Republique - 1% (1/30) The Bureau: XCOM Declassified - 0% (0/42) Need for Speed Shift 2: Unleashed Made some good progress in Shift 2. When I finally get in the mood to play it again, I'll try and finish it. For now it's on the shelf for a little bit as I'm having way too much fun with Driver San Francisco. MISC Nothing is getting done at the moment... After I finished the online trophies for Max Payne 3, I went straight back to Medal of Honor, and finished Tier1 mode to get the platinum. After that, I found a group working on Battlefield 4, so I joined that session a couple of times to get the last 2 DLC trophies done. After 7 years its finally at 100% At that same time I started playing Driver San Francisco, and I liked it so much that I was thinking about swapping NFS Shift 2 but I'm going to add it to the list. Besides that I got the platinum for Catlateral Damage: Remeowstered. Just for fun. I enjoyed the original release so I bought it again on PS5. I'm getting distracted a lot by other games that I really enjoy playing. Focus Neo, FOCUS... Anyway... that's it for my third update! Keep the updates coming! Hope everyone is having fun and getting stuff done!! Edited September 24, 2021 by neospoon

Popular Post RoastedPeanut
Update #4 Smashed out the bulk of Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus the past couple of days. All that's left now is a little bit of a cleanup. I may actually get a bit more done tonight and most likely have the platinum tomorrow. I haven't 100% decided what I'll move onto after this though. Last time I said I'd play Dragon Quest Builders, so that's always a possibility, but I did use a swap last update to add Ys: Memories of Celceta, so that's also an option. I don't know....I guess we'll see soon. Keep fighting, everyone!!! 1. Mary Skelter: Nightmares (Vita) - 100% (34/34) September 19 2. Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus (Vita) - 29% -- > 91% (44/49) 3. One More Dungeon (Vita) - 1% (1/16) 4. Dragon Quest Builders (Vita) - 3% (2/20) 5. SteamWorld Heist (Vita) - 0% (0/47) 6. Alice: Madness Returns (PS3) - 46% (31/51) 7. Duke Nukem Forever (PS3) - 31% (24/63) 8. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (PS3) - 0% (0/46) 9. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PS3) - 10% (7/34) 10. Dead Space (PS3) - 16% (11/49) 11. Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection (PS4) - 28% (14/32) 12. Hollow Knight (PS4) - 0% (0/35) 13. Sonic Colors: Ultimate (PS4) - 0% (0/47) 14. Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4) - 0% (0/79) 15. Ys: Memories of Celceta (Vita) - 0% (0/52) Total Trophies: 168/654 Swaps Used: 1/5 Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy (PS4) - > Ys: Memories of Celceta (Vita)
