Hopefully, once I start playing games that don't sap my willpower like Agents of Mayhem, I'll be motoring through these a bit quicker. I'm slowly chipping away, although I should have a little more time for gaming going forward - but I'm never 100% sure on that one. Fingers crossed. I've also added a load more games to the list as some extra motivation - like a few others I also joined the Trophies to Fight Cancer event (you should too), which synergises pretty well with this one, so I've added a few games I'm going to be doing for that as well. So you'll probably notice for the next month or so I'll be prioritising games with pink or orange in their thumbnails to try and put those to bed quickly for the event. I'm tempted to leave Yakuza 3 for last and treat that as my reward for getting through the other games, thanks for the great idea Smevz! But we'll see how I feel, I seem to change my mind on things so quickly,so I'm really not sure on that one - but I definitely want to play it,so adding it here will make that a little bit more concrete. Oh and I did at least manage to get Legend of Kay anniversary complete so that's another one checked off the now quite extensive list - I've got to admit having 5 of 10 done looked much better than 5 of 21, but hey, it'll only push me harder hopefully, right? Or I'll have to just post a photo of myself crying in here in the fetal position if it gets too much Legend of Kay is an interesting one - if you have both the PS3 and the PS4 version in your backlog and have started neither, and you are definitely sure that you want to at least play one of them - then my best advice is to just pick up the PS3 version set it on fire and launch it out of a window, and start the PS4 version instead - actually don't, because you most likely have it digitally like I do and your poor PS3 deserves better than a cold hard handshake with the floor. That being said - I'll warn you now, the PS3 version is rather glitchy, and my PS3 crashed in one spot about twenty times (I'm not the only one either,) so there's that - but there's plenty of positive things to say about the game, and unfortunately a measure of bad too, but there's worse games you could have in your backlog like Agents of Mayhem (did I mention I didn't like it? ? I need to stop mentioning it in case it suddenly re-appears uncompleted, like some horrendous curse) so don't be too disheartened. If you want to read my full thoughts on the game you can find them here - I never thought I'd ever have to write down the words Cat-boobs, so today was definitely a first, but it is what it is. Apologies for the longish post, as always it's been an absolute blast reading through everyone's progress, one of the best things has been finding new games you eventually want to play yourself as a result of stuff like this - keep on making light work of your backlogs folks - I'll catch you on the next one! Popular Post InfinateEternity
Update #1 - It's finally time for my first update! In the time since I made my original post, I also got access to my PS3 again. So, I've added 11 PS3 games to my list to get some use out of that system and 4 additional PS Vita / PS4 games to bring me to the total 45. So, with that in mind, my key for this - and any other future updates - is below. Like many others in this thread, I've joined the Trophies for Cancer Event. So, a lot of my thoughts about individual games are in that thread. If that is the case, I've provided a link to the appropriate post in case you do want to read my opinion on each game that I've fully completed. I'm trying to be careful with my plats, as I'd like either FF8 or Singstar XMB (PS3) to be my 100th. (FF8 is my favorite Final Fantasy and SingStar XMB has a UR plat that I only have a long song grind left for). Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 2.0.: Here we go guys! Once again, I'm reporting on my progress in the challenge. Despite I've been really busy and haven't enough time to play much, I managed to gather few trophies and enhance it in the run. All in all, this time around has been difficult, and oddly been feeling burnt out when in honesty the time spent on the controller hasn't been that long. Aside from that, I want to share my experience so far in progress terms. As we're almost at spooky season (depending on where you live), I made a brief survey to see game to play next of course, as being hesitant is one of the reasons why this isn't going further as much as I wish; so if you're interested in helping me to pick up my next adventure, I'll be glad to read and appreciate back Leaving the link here and more than open to hear you out! Attack of the toy Tanks ~ 100% Warface ~ 55% → 86% LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 ~ 24% → 73% Dragon Ball Xenoverse ~ 0% GT Sport ~ 0% Splitgate ~ 0% Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition ~ 0% Hollow Knight ~ 0% Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ~ 0% Let's start out with Warface. Again, as previous entry in the challenge, this game is the bomb. It's really addicting, and the game modes are frankly quite entertaining. Managed to grab a few miscellaneous trophies recently, and the developers released the DLC maps once again, so 2 out of 3 of those are available by the time I'm writing this. Those levels are pretty straightforward; one is pretty linear and repetitive, but the challenge increases progressively, while the second has this Resident Evil atmosphere that I can't describe properly. Also, succeeded to do the hardest part on the set, but as much I wished to pop three (and in reality you can pop 5 in a row!) at the same time, I had to replay many, many times a specific map called HQ Tower, where you must survive 19 floors of increasing difficulty until the very end, and doing them without a team, putting in the words of the OP's guide "can be an excruciating experience". And I haven't read a most suitable description for a feat like this before. Indeed, doing it with randoms was a pain; my team, which were playing the game months before me, did it in a single, very lucky run with a high-level player which basically, unbeknownst to them, carry through the whole damn thing... When I learned that, I felt kind of betrayed as they were honestly really kind and fun while we play, but the fact they advance without me in person playing was a down, personally. Despite they promised to helped me to grab the remaining trophies and they did so; in the run for "Survival of the Fittest", one of the guys managed to be online in perfect timing: I've been playing with two randoms which knew pretty much what they were doing, and by the 15th floor, my mate joined us. We finished the Tower and pulled off the trophy away. What a moment, LOL. For LEGO MSH2, I can mention that the game is absurdly huge for the type presented in its premise and the scope it aims to portray for every intrepid player who wants a clicking adventure for hours and hours. Seriously, this game is one of the longest I've been playing and seems to never ending as much you can unlock, be it characters, vehicles, levels and more, I'm just at ~75% in-game percentage, as I need the solid 100% for the whole game (make it redundant, less to say). You can travel around the HUB and find an incredible amount of stuff you can do; even you can soften the chore a lot by using certain characters that will reduce significantly the amount of time to finish some tasks offered in this title, don't let you be deceived. This isn't a small journey, for sure. Come through to wipe some miscellaneous trophies too, but the remaining stuff is still a way long to be done. There's just a few things to clean up, but the insane amount of effort of this LEGO game is something completely unexpected, but at the same time, appreciated and rewarding. Tale Tell Games really put their guts into this, as the graphics are way better than the predecessor (despite I still need to go for LEGO Marvel's Avengers, of course!) and the mechanics feel more to date compared to it too. The DLCs indeed are that, as the add-ons really increase the effort to finish the game. This starts to bugging me as I have like 45 cards left and have no idea where to unlock them, as making a quick math the amount doesn't equal the stuff left in the post-game. However, I have my reservoir as this has proved to be kind of tricky and is always giving you a surprise form here and there. Hope to finish this up in the following week and start with the next batch of games. Hoping you're enjoying this season, as this challenge often presents titles referring to the biggest time to play, i.e. the "End of the Year" time period, it's nice and super motivating to see how much progress you have done so far! Also lurking into few other profiles, I came to realize that my efforts have been minuscule compared with yours, guys. So much respect and my deepest congratulations that have been able to push this forward this year. Wanting to see more in the next few weeks and months, and pretty sure how this will go on again! Wish all of you stay safe and good, and of course, telling that you enjoy your witch trophy hunt this time around!

Popular Post StilRh
Great progress guys. Loving your update @Heather342 I too love Civ and Alien Isolation. Enjoy your gaming time! @Static_Rook Tell me how you find Dungeon encounters. It has really, really positive aclaim from die hard gamers but I wonder if the barebones asthetics would put me off @rebeccafar Well done on Carto. I really liked how pleasant it was Update time: This week has been one with a nice bit of gaming but I've been very scattered in my energies. I blame this on work. I must have done 20 hours overtime (and work social last night) including a shift where I learned how to oversee the beds (it's a small hospital, only 100) and staffing for my hospital... YIKES!! Gaming has been my stress release valve for sure. I dabbled across Hades, Judgement (no trophies but working on things like drone races and side quests) and Alan Wake. I finally started Muv Luv Alternate and it's everything I wished it would be. Immediately managed to jump in to such an amazing world fell in love with the characters all over again. The Riftbreaker was something I was thinking about getting and I have, it's been really fun so far but a bit tough on normal. I don't die but the attritional base damage between enemy waves can be tedious even though the game has good tools to repair and rebuild. I will probably start again so I can build a fresh base with more optimal design in consideration. I might play on easy for the easy life... I don't know yet. And finally I've started Tales of Iron as one of my favourite youtubes has started it and I like to 'play along' with good letsplayers (FightingCowboy - helped me plat Hollow Knight, Dark Souls and get into the Nioh games that I'm terrible at). This week I've got annual leave and I intend to make the most of every hour. Some will be with people or my other interests but I'd love to platinum a game or two. Probably either Alan Wake or Tales of Iron due to the short run time. I'll be playing Muv Luv every evening Have a great week y'all. Popular Post GraniteSnake
Update #2: Completed this one over a month ago. It was a lot of fun revisiting MW2's action-packed campaign. The veteran exploit made this a walk in the park plus none of the miscellaneous trophies caused me any trouble. Such a shame Spec Ops weren't included in this remaster, would've really enjoyed replaying them and going for 69 stars all over again! Finished R&C Nexus last night. It was a solid entry, albeit disappointingly short. Only 5 planets to visit total! The story was ok, gameplay was fluid and mostly enjoyable, standard for a R&C game. The new weapon, the 'Nightmare Box' made the game very doable even on Hard difficulty. As of right now, I'm only missing the Vita trilogy and Rift Apart from this series. One of my favourites! -------------------- I almost went a month without earning a trophy/loading up a game since my last update. I have a feeling my gaming will be sporadic until the middle of December comes along. I think I'm going to return to Tekken 7 tonight and give that a proper go. Until the next time! Collectibles can be a real pain especially during the bike chase but actually it didn't give me much trouble. Also good thing I kept multiple save files and was able to load a previous one after messing up on the no-kill trophy (apparently it happened during the bike chase part). Overall a very good game. I still have a couple more games in the series to play. RE3: I started this game today and put in a few hours. It's definitely fun like REmake 2 was but Nemesis can be annoying and dodging is a hit or miss... maybe I just need to get the hang of it but I've read similar things about it before. I've also started Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom (PS3) which I want to finish before the month is up for "The Oh god the PS5 is coming Event" which I'm also participating in but it's coming to an end. I won't be adding it to my list here however, it's just something else I'm doing. It's a cool platformer. I haven't started The Good Life yet. There was a delay with the digital codes for PS4 and still waiting on costume codes from devs. Once I get those I'll hop into it. I did boot it up so it shows on my profile and let me just tell you looking at just the main menu (shows part of the town from above), it looks beautiful. Next week I'll continue RE3 and Invizimals. They go great together with one being intense and the other quite laid back. Well that's it for me. Love reading everyone's progress! And as always Game on!
Popular Post Bl4ckb1rd92
End of week update: Got caught up with completing some games that weren't part of the challenge due to burnout. I also started and completely finished a game that wasn't on my list: Astro's Playroom. Don't know if that counts or not. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> currently at 71% Still need to finish up the cleanup in the first playthrough. I plan to do this after returning from some work stuff (going to be gone for around 10 days). Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - 13% --> Haven't touched it, yet. Plan is finished, will be working on this one after finishing either DSII or Berserk. FFVII - started at 10% --> currently at 15% I just couldn't bring myself to get back into this one for some reason. I'll probably get back to this after finishing DSII or Berserk. Berserk - started at 4% --> currently at 66% Griffith is done with the Endless Eclipse (2/8 down!). Brought Wylde up through level 80 and Zodd through level 20. I'd like to add Spyro 3 (8%), Call of Cthulhu (22%), Naruto: UNS (10%), Greedfall (14%), and Fernz Gate (1%). I think the slightly broader selection of games will helps me focus on the challenge and stop burning out due to a narrow selection of games.

Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 7 - 10/18/2021 Dungeon Encounters 0% 49% Gran Turismo Sport 50% 51% Rayman Legends 35% 68% Ys IX Monstrum Nox 10% 12% Another week of progress, but no platinums. I finished the main part of Rayman Legends and hit Level 9. So now I'm starting the Origins paintings while still doing the challenges everyday. Hopefully I can hit level 11 by the end of the year. Still working on Circuit Experiences and a few online races a day in GT Sport, but no major progress there. In Ys IX, I made it back to where I was but with all the side quests cleared this time. I started getting further, but then dropped everything when Dungeon Encounters came out. I'm glad I added DE to my list when I did, because pretty soon after I found a weapon that got me all of the "do x amount of damage in one attack" trophies at once. That took me from like 9% complete to over 35% in a matter of seconds. I just hit floor 60 and have every floor up to 59 completely mapped. I could be going quicker, but I'm trying to play it safe with my first party so I don't have to level up anyone else. I'm also using the cloud save backup trick ALOT just to be extra safe. @StilRh I've been enjoying Dungeon Encounters, but I wouldn't consider it a "must buy" or anything. It's a neat throwback to simpler RPGs and dungeon crawlers, but it is very barebones. You just walk around mapping dungeon floors and getting in ATB fights. Find the stairs down to the next floor and repeat. That's it. There's a little bit of spice thrown in with different abilities and equipment, but the meat of the game stays the same. It's been fun for the 20-ish hours I've put in so far, but I'm getting ready for it to be over, hopefully in another 20 or less. I imagine this will get a decent sale price around Black Friday so it's probably better to wait for now. Week 8 plans -plat Dungeon Encounters -plat Ys IX -finish 2 Origins worlds in Rayman Legends -more GT Sport grinding If I get Ys and DE done relatively quickly I may try to sneak in Heavy Rain, too. Popular Post damcrac5
Completion #6: Demon's Souls (PS5) I had always considered playing a soulsborne game but was worried about being able to maintain a 100% profile. I bought this game on sale from wal-mart so that I could receive free shipping. Saved 8 bucks in shipping which led to me getting this for $37. Figured it was worth it at that price, even if I just dabbled on a spare account. However, I decided to go for it. I added it to my profile, but I followed a detailed video guide. Tactics, route, leveling, how to avoid any additional playthroughs than required. I did resort to managing my save file via cloud downloads, but this made the game a very enjoyable experience (minus the gold coin farming... rip 3.5 hours). Knowing how to play now, I don't think I'd save 'scum' for another run, but with my giant backlog, I wanted to save time. I've got a ton of games to play! If you are interested, the video guide I used was by Platinum Chasers. You can find the playlist link here. I'm not an overly skilled gamer, as I find enjoyment in playing 3/10 difficulty games, lol. But this made Demon's Souls feel like a 4.5/5 out of 10 difficulty. The build is very strong, doesn't rely on parry and minimal physical combat. Maybe that is setting me up poorly for the backlog additions of Dark Souls 1-3 for PS4, but I am more confident in following his guides to get it done. Overall Score: 9/10 Time to Play: ~30 hours with video guide Trophy List: 7/10 (Playthrough 2 needed to acquire all spells) Recommend to everyone: YES Onto Rift Apart! I've been very excited for this game. I was going to play all the R&C games in order, but I couldn't hold back sitting on this game any longer. I'll get back to the titles I've started, but I want to get some of these quicker games that have pink or orange in their thumbnail completed for the Trophies to Fight Cancer Event. Highly recommend you join for a good cause if any of your backlog fit the bill. I'm personally donating $5 for each game I complete, even if it isn't orange or pink(working on Sly 2 on Vita). Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 9 - Bit late updating this week, but better late than never! Tales of Arise Spoiler I bagged the platinum for this last week making it both my first ever Tales game and Platinum No. 192 which I'm really happy about. I loved pretty much everything about this game and it has cemented itself as one of my all-time favourite JRPG experiences. The only issue was the battle audio, which I described in my last update. After about 60 hours into the game my brain switched it off and it became a passive annoyance rather than something that frustrated me. The game is fantastic, but I really think that the devs could drop this feature (or improve it) from subsequent titles in the series and it wouldn't detract from the experience at all. Am I a fan of Tales games now? That's hard to say as this is my only experience and I don't think i'll be going back to the previous titles. But if the next game is as good as this i'll absolutely buy it. So I suppose you could say that I am a Tales-fan-in-waiting for the time being! Another note I wanted to add, that this was one of the most satisfying platinum journeys i've had for a long time and they did a great job with the trophies themselves. It was a very similar experience to the one I had with Dragon Quest 11 (another outstanding JRPG in my opinion). Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Spoiler I put some solid time into this one over the weekend. I had already played through the game blind when it originally released so I used a guide this time around. When I first played this game I wasn't a huge fan with the way it ended, but after running it more than once, I really started to pick up on quite a few nuances and references that I missed before which have served to completely transform how I viewed the game and the story. I have a few playthroughs left, to get the head, heart and a couple of specific result trophies. But I'm looking forward to it and seeing if these specific decision runs will turn up anything new that can uncover more aspects of the story I missed. The next run i'll do is to get all of the heart decisions, so it's going to be fun to see everyone reacting emotionally-extra at everything. Platinum 200 approaches Spoiler It's closer than I realised and my tradition is to try and platinum a Resident Evil game every 50th Platinum earned. So I used one of my swaps, removing Monster Harvest and adding in Resident Evil 0. May as well start with this one and the platinum guide makes it look like a super fun one to go for. It's also my least played main entry RE game so i'm actually pretty hyped. That's me done for this update, hoping to bag the platinum for Little Hope this week. Then after that see where my mood takes me. Have a great week all, I love reading these updates! Basically getting to level 100, grinding grade, doing the Coliseum, and cleaning up as much of the collectors and monster books as I can. Dark Souls 3 progress has been slow, there are a lot of invaders that have high-level gear that invade TalesofGaming and me when we're going through. Think out of all the invaders we've only been able to beat one... Adding Operation: Tango as my next game to play with TalesofGaming, as for commitment for another post.

Popular Post gruffiiti
No more completions just yet but adding a few games I have been playing recently to my list. I have pulled out Lair of the Clockwork God and Remnant: From the Ashes from my backlog this week. LotCG is a unique platformer/point and click adventure game and some of the writing has made me chuckle more than a few times. It has its flaws too but interesting enough that I don't regret the purchase. Remnant was started as a co-op game and it has been pretty good so far. It has its challenging moments with some of the boss fights but all of them have felt doable. At most we have needed 3-4 attempts to beat them. Will likely be playing a lot more of this in the next few weeks. SINNER: Sacrifice for Redemption - 51% 3. Sound Shapes - 86% 4. Max Payne 3 - 92% ===== #236 - South Park: The Stick of Truth This one was a wild ride. It’s been ages since I’ve seen a South Park episode, and so I’d almost forgotten how completely ridiculous and hilarious this show is. I can’t remember the last time a game actually made me laugh out loud, but this one made it nearly impossible not to. You’d think that South Park humour is something you’d grow out of as you get older, but for me it remains just as funny as it was when I was like 15, and is as completely absurd as it ever was. In this age of political correctness, censorship and extreme sensitivity, I also find it difficult not to highly respect a work of art that remains so utterly irreverent and doesn’t shy at making fun of literally everyone & everything. In South Park, there is no topic off limits, everyone gets equally eviscerated. This show simply does not give a fuck how you feel about it. What really surprised me about this game though was just how brilliantly it translated the show and it’s characters into a video game format. It worked to much greater effect than I could have imagined going in. I would assume that it’s no easy feat taking a short episodic show and transforming it into what is basically a 15-hour long episode, but they really delivered and vastly exceeded my expectations in the process. The RPG elements and turn-based combat was done very well (and animated very well) and perfectly complimented the spoofed Dungeons and Dragons role-playing game that the kids are playing in the story, allowing you to collect a huge number of makeshift weapons, armours, and skills from around the town as you gain XP and level up your character. My only negative comment about this game would be regarding the trophy list and the huge number of missables. You have missable armor/weapons and collectibles, missable areas, quests and Facebook friends, missable combat trophies that can only really be performed at very specific locations of the game, as well as several missable “full playthrough” trophies that you have to keep an eye on constantly. Naturally, I somehow screwed up one of these trophies (The Hoarder - don’t sell any items for the duration of the game) and was forced to do an entire playthrough solely for that. The trophies were a bit of a headache in this one, and had me obsessively combing through multiple missable guides between chapters to make sure I wasn’t locking myself out of anything or missing opportunities for specific trophies. I am very relieved to see South Park: The Fractured But Whole has a much simpler trophy list, and swaps the missable stuff out for a difficulty related trophy instead. I’m looking forward to picking it up in the future! #237 - Guacamelee! 2 I absolutely loved this one! Guacamelee 2 is a great sequel, set 7 years after the events of the first game. Juan has settled into domesticity and started a family with his beautiful wife, but events suddenly threatening the Mexiverse force him out of retirement and back into his tightly fitting spandex and luchador mask once more. The evil Salvador is trying to unlock and eat the ? Holy Guacamole ? to absorb its terrible power, and of course we cannot have that, so he must be stopped. For the most part, Guacamelee 2 is more of the same when compared to the first game. But this is not a bad thing at all. You will find yourself dashing, uppercutting, frog slamming and head butting your way through the world, collecting powers, destroying monsters and tackling brain-twisting platforming challenges and combat rooms that will test your skill and combat prowess in big ways. And it’s all utilizing the same gorgeous art style of the first game, and a brilliant Mexican/Mariachi themed soundtrack adding life and colour to the experience. The biggest change on display here is in the expansion of your pollo powers (bird form). In the first game, pollo powers were rather useless in the majority or situations, but in Guacamelee 2 they’ve been expanded considerably, making pollo powers very viable in combat, as well as necessary for platforming and navigating the map. There are many platforming rooms designed specifically for pollo form, as well as the brutal end-game dungeon The Crucible, which will really test how well you handle your feathered self. I’m legitimately shocked that this game has a completion rating of over 30%, because this game can be downright tough - especially regarding hard mode, the end-game key challenges, and The Crucible. Just like the first game, I feel that the difficulty is highly underrated. These games aren’t super tough exactly, but they are not exactly deserving of their reputation as easy platinums either. Both games are significantly challenging and will require you to earn it, which factors in to Guacamelee 2 being a fun and immensely satisfying platinum to earn. Admittedly, I am relatively new to 2D platformers/metroidvanias and have really only been exploring this genre over the past year and a half or so, in which time it’s quickly become one of my favourite genres. But, in other words, my knowledge of the genre is still quite limited and there are almost certainly a lot of other games out there with even more brain-busting when it comes to platforming challenges (ie. Hollow Knight). Regardless, with both Guacamelee 1 & 2, I found myself in slack-jawed awe numerous times at the level of creativity and cleverness on display when it comes to the platforming challenges. The platforming is very, very well done in these games and will brilliantly force you to use every power and ability you have in order to progress, often stringing them together in long, complex sequences while simultaneously swapping in & out of pollo powers and switching dimensions on top of everything. The dimension switching in particular hurts my brain like nothing else. There were some rooms where I knew exactly what to do, but there was a big disconnect in trying to get my fingers and split-second reflexes to match the instructions in my brain. I am truly impressed with the creativity of the developers in designing many of these challenges. Really simple things like collecting life/stamina upgrades end up being very satisfying as each one tests your skills and requires you to figure out the room’s puzzle. If you are new to 2D platformers/metroidvanias like I was not too long ago, and want to dip your toes into the vast pool of this genre, I couldn’t recommend the Guacamelee games highly enough. Don’t miss them! ? ===== - Both of these games were selected because they overlap nicely with the Trophies to Fight Cancer event being hosted by @Beyondthegrave07 throughout October & November. I encourage you to get involved if you have any games in your backlog with Orange/Pink in the thumbnails, as they would be automatically eligible for the event. You can work on both events simultaneously while raising a few dollars for a good cause. Check it out! - I have started Metro Exodus as of last night! I absolutely loved 2033 and Last Light and can’t wait to see where the series goes next. If I can finish it before the end of the month I will likely start Resident Evil 2 next, just in time for a SuPeR sPoOkY HALLOWEEN game! ?☠️?? Muahahaha. ===== Final note, just wanted to say excellent job everyone on your progress! I really enjoy reading through everyone’s posts here, and just know that y’all keep me inspired and motivated to continue plowing through my backlog. Good luck to everyone and see you in the next update. ?

I'm back at one third of the games I added finished now, so that's good. I did look at 5 of 21, and think why did you add a load more games you silly person. Oh well - they've all got to get done right, so better to just chip away at them. As always I'm enjoying reading through the insane amount of progress you're all making. Thoughts on Abzu If for some reason you haven't played this yet, and it's in your backlog...... Though. I'm sure those who haven't played it are in the minority these days. Please, please get and play this, maybe even save it for after a really big game, because this is one of the most relaxing games I think I've ever had the pleasure of playing through. There are very few times I can think of where a game has almost instantaneously grabbed my attention and hooked me right in, but this did - it's beautiful, it's meditative, and the soundtrack is one of the greatest I've ever heard in any video game. ...... Best of all, when it comes to this kind of event? It'll only take you about three hours at the most, and that's going at a pretty slow pace. if you want to you can find my full thoughts on it here Thoughts on Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime I absolutely love it when a game like this can come along and surprise you like this. I went into it pretty much with no expectations and just got very carried away playing this, it's pretty addictive, yet also very very satisfying to play at the same time. I don't know that it's an essential game to play or anything, but I do think it's worth peoples time. What I will say, is grab a friend/husband/wife/children - you get the picture, and play it with them, it's absolutely designed with couch co-op in mind, and whilst I didn't play it that way, I'm pretty sure you'll have the most enjoyable time as such, I could see it being an absolutely hilarious experience Full disclosure - I played the entire thing in one sitting, it hooked me in that much. It' also a pink thumbnail game - which is why I played it, for the Trophies to Fight Cancer Event, so it ended up being doubly satisfying knowing that it's going to be helping to smack Cancer in the face with a frying pan! again you can find my full thoughts on the game here What's Next? I'm genuinely a little unsure what I'm going to tackle next, I expect it'll be Harry Potter, but as usual I'll probably change my mind at the last second and do something completely different. Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge (PS3) | Current Progress: 4% This makes me want to do the happiest of Happy dances - well it would, if I didn't have about as much rhythm as someone with their feet on backwards and wearing lead shoes ....... Just WOOOO someone's going to be playing Monkey Island.... Get in! I really hope you have a good time with those - that is one of my favourite series of all time. I did not expect to see that show up in this event. I know how slow going trophy progress feels on that game, but there'll come a time soon, when you'll basically get loads of the characters titles trophies all at once, and you'll go from like 30% up to 60% and I hope it feels as awesome for you, as it did for me. Glad to see you're still making good progress with Symphonia! It'd be too easy to quote all of you, but I'm running on about one and a half hours sleep, so I'll probably pass out any minute. Just know you're all making massive progress, and it's really awesome to help keep myself and others motivated to get things done! See you all in the next Update!
