Popular Post damcrac5
Been a couple of weeks since my last update, but I've had a couple off days due to family demands and Dark Souls: Remastered isn't something I can just breeze through, lol. With that said, I think I'm about 80% of the way through my first playthrough, so I should hopefully be done with it in about a week! Been a fun ride so far. The Four Kings gave me some issues, but overall, things aren't going too bad. Dark Souls will be a swap, but after beating Demon's Souls, I have purchased every From Software games to play, including their PS3 counterparts! Might as well go for it all! I've been doing bits of The Touryst when I only have 20 minutes or so to play, which it is a great game for that kind of playtime. Creative little puzzles, and charming gameplay. Easily recommend the game for anyone wanting a laid back puzzle platformer. Sly 2 is almost done as well. I'm on episode 7 with enough gold to buy all the required tools. I'm waiting to finish on Dark Souls first to make it my 40th Platinum, and then I'll crank through the rest of Sly 2. I still only play at work, but will likely finish it before going after another platinum on the main console. Gotta get back into the thread a bit more and share my 25 upvotes! Fair play though, that's probably one of the few LEGO games I just won't touch because I'm scared of how much of a massive hole it'd eat into my wallet. I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say about it - especially as I'll never likely play it myself, so it'll be really interesting reading what someone has to say about it. It might even make me go against my own better judgment and buy it, who knows. My Thoughts on Oxenfree I know it probably isn't in the spirit of this whole event to try and add to peoples backlogs or anything - but just this once - I really think anyone who hasn't gotten around to playing Oxenfree yet absolutely should. If you like Telltale games - or more importantly, if you like narrative driven games, or even ones with a good story, then this is the game for you. Using Telltale as a comparison point wasn't really fair, because for as good as Telltale can be occasionally, they would absolutely bite someone's hand off to have the ability to write characters, and dialogue that is as natural and as engaging as those written by Night School Studios. It is exceedingly rare for narrative games to be so diverse, and interesting - that even after the platinum you sit there still wanting to find out more about the characters - whereas with Oxenfree I was sat there at the end and I thought " Yeah - I could go for another, I wonder what happens, if I say this, this or this differently." That's not even scratching the surface really - across the board the game is fantastic with very few areas of weakness. I'm just not very good at breaking things down concisely, but it was a hell of a good experience - one that I think is worthy of most peoples times. If you wanted to read my more in depth thoughts on it, you can find them here as usual. Even better - it's thumbnail is Orange - which means I'll have to try and say something witty about battling cancer - so let's call this another successful "Block of LEGO trodden on by the bare feet of cancer" - I know, I know - shut up RJ and get more creative next time! ? I think I'm going to go ahead and tackle Night School Studios other game Afterparty next - I guess I'll start that soon - be nice to play another thing about some younger people, especially as I'm about four or five hours away from marching one year closer to forty So off to Afterparty I go! As usual I'm loving reading about all the swift progress you've all been making too! Edited November 15, 2021 by rjkclarke I stupidly put the wrong number in the update..... I already have 100% on PS4 and all the LEGO packs needed... hell, I have all the LEGO packs period, even the special limited ones like Green Arrow and Supergirl. But yeah it does feel like I spent 20k on them, tho some of them were gifts. Which is why I had to pick up the game on PS3 to justify some of that spending. Luckily (or unluckily, depends on how you look at it), trophies don't auto-pop so I get to experience the whole thing again. I believe I read somewhere the game doesn't perform as well on PS3 but I guess I'll find out soon. I'm planning on giving all them LEGOs to my niece one day once she's old enough. As for the game, it mostly plays like any other LEGO game with a twist of being toys-to-life (Skylanders), meaning using a portal and sometimes the game gets interrupted because you have to build an item/vehicle from real LEGOs to progress (it's not necessary, you can just use the empty disc tags that contain all the info but I like building the stuff, it's a nice change of pace). It's a somewhat original story with characters/levels thrown in from different dimensions. Some of the DLCs are good, some not so good, it will also depends on how much you like the licensed stuff it's based on. Usually they're just a story snippet but there are bigger expansions like the Batman Movie and Ghostbusters (2016) and each unlocks a hub-world too but not necessary to visit them much unless you go for in-game 100% (not trophy 100%) which would add massive game time. To sum it up, it's a fun LEGO game with some occasional IRL LEGO stuff. For trophies, the base set and LEGO packs that unlock DLCs are enough to get 100% (maybe Wicked Witch or Superman can be helpful as extras) but they would still cost a ton of money... pretty sure prices have gone up now too. But if you don't care for the actual LEGO stuff you can just buy the disc tags on Ebay cheaper. Popular Post MidnightDragon
Currently stuck on level 95 in Puzzle Bobble 3D. The time limit seems super tight. One time, I almost got it, but ran out of time. If I had 10-15 seconds more, would’ve had it. I did check a video guide, but not too helpful. I still intend on beginning Voice of Cards soon. Gonna try again tomorrow. I’m nearing the end, but had no issue on the four levels before this. Popular Post StilRh
Heyo lovelies. Its been fun reading your updates! Keep it up Between my rehabilitation routines and work it's been tough to squeeze any playtime in. I have dabbled in some unlisted games though. Honesty, I do try and stick to my list but I took a good kick in the face from a patient on Saturday (I dived in the way of the kick so a colleague didn't get it) and I was like "That's it. I AM going to binge play a NEW game when I get home". I'll probably add these unlisted games to my pile in the next update as I think I'll have a few platinums to show in a week or so's time. This week my shifts appear a little more forgiving so I am going to try and get some more gaming in. The following week is annual leave which will be amazing. Have a great week!
Popular Post ladynadiad
1. Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny - 14% 2. Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom - 3. Actraiser Renaissance - 0% --> 62% 4. Drakengard 3 - 0% 5. Dragon Quest XI - 0% 6. Flower - 47% ---> 85% Swaps used: 1/5 Well, I just totally beat Actraiser Renaissance in about 2 days. I'm not too surprised since the original was pretty short as well. Still have some content to do for the plat, but completed the main story. It's actually a very well done remake, not perfect but definitely makes huge improvements over the original and is overall better than the original. The graphics were improved, the music remixed, the story fleshed out more and some elements were added to enhance the gameplay and it did this without removing the stuff that made the original game such a gem of a game. For those not familiar with the original Actraiser game, it's a hybrid of a action platformer and city building sim. You play as the god of a world called the Master who is trying to get rid of the monsters that have taken over the world and build a world that humans can live in again. The game starts off with a 2D action platforming section where at the end you beat a boss. Then your angel goes and helps you develop the area and grow a town. You get to wield miracles like lightning, rain and earthquakes to clear the terrain and deal with the monsters. As you help the city grow, the Master becomes more powerful and is able to get rid of the monsters in the area by doing another action section and beating a boss. Added to this in the remake is tower defense sections to defend your city, quests to help the people, and a hero for each area that flesh out the original storyline. Also added is the ability to select multiple difficulty levels to make the game harder (the original was about the level of the easy difficulty but with limited lives for the action parts). Also has a great OST with the original tracks being remixed and some new tracks added and the player can also select to use the original if they prefer. The remixes and new tracks are overall great and it remains a very good soundtrack. All in all, very fun game and well worth the $30 spent. Definitely would recommend both to people who played and enjoyed the original SNES version along with people who never heard of Actraiser before and think they'd enjoy a game that mixes action RPG elements with a city building sim and adds a bit of tower defense to the mix. Still remains a very unique sort of game with an old school charm. Took me about 20 hours to finish the main story and the added post game area and from what I've seen the plat is estimated to be around 40-50 hours. Still have the special mode, wrapping up quests in an area, finding all the scrolls in the action areas, and getting all the heroes to level 20 for the plat. Might try to save this for a milestone since my 225th plat is only 9 plats away.

Popular Post Heather342
Update 14 Another gaming week has gone by, and although trophy percentage wise not a lot has changed, I have been making some steady progress. Granted that some of that progress was in Civ 6, which isn't even part of this challenge, but I'm now only 2 trophies away from the platinum ?! Still got heaps of DLC on that to work on, but it's my chill out game, I'll get it eventually. But back to the challenge! I've been back to the Ghost of Tsushima multiplayer, levelling up and getting good gear. I now have 2 of the 4 characters to rank 20, and completed a gold survival for one of the trophies in the legends DLC. Also, by reaching gear ki level 105 I was able to get the cursed items, which you can cleanse by doing challenges in a match. That was another trophy pop. Then also got the trophy for binding a piece of gear to a class. I do really like my Ronin class character now, he's a badass, kinda sad that I need to switch him out to level up one of the others ?. Now I just need to research the requirements for the raid ? I've also started my hard mode/one shot run of Alien Isolation. Now that I know where to go I'm moving through the levels quicker this time, but it's still mega stressful. I'm on mission 7 now. I have had to use the save reload a few times to preserve my no death run. The randomness of the AI is just too unpredictable, but that's what makes the tension in the game so good. Case in point, I was in an office having just done an access terminal task to progress the story. Looking out the door, I can hear the alien but I can't see it, then all of a sudden it just drops out of a ceiling vent right next to me. I screamed, my dog sat next to me was traumatized, and then I had to reload my save because there was no way I wasn't gonna die at that moment ?. Seriously though, this game is so good and so scary, definitely a must play. Catch you all in my next update! Max Payne 3 - 92% ===== #244 - RESIDENT EVIL 2 So this marks by 3rd Resident Evil game (after Resident Evil HD & Resident Evil 0) and at this point I’m totally hooked on this series! I never grew up on the original RE2 like many other people and so I can’t compare the remake to the source material, but even so it’s pretty obvious they did a fantastic job remaking this game. The graphics, lighting, and animations are completely stunning (I think RE2 has some of the best looking zombies in the entire industry), the controls and over-the-shoulder 3rd person perspective feels comfortable and modern, yet at the same time the gameplay, puzzles, and labyrinthian environments still feel completely true to the original style of Resident Evil games. It makes for one hell of a survival horror experience! I’ve really enjoyed my experience with the series thus far for a number of reasons. The trophy lists in all 3 games so far have been the perfect mix of fun and challenge. I also love the way these games have pushed me outside of my comfort zone a little bit and forced me into a different mindset. I’ve always found speedrunning to be quite fascinating but only have a tiny experience with speedrunning myself, usually only when a game forces it on me with a particular trophy. But with each RE game so far, I’ve been forced to adopt the mentality of a speed runner. I normally hate having to replay games right away, but Resident Evil has some of the best replayability of any game I’ve ever played. With each run you finish, you just want to jump back in straightaway and do it again, trying each time to up the difficulty and increase your completion time. It’s incredibly satisfying and fulfilling as a gamer to see your skills and knowledge of the game improving exponentially with every run you complete, and this has really helped me understand why people find the concept of speed running so rewarding and so competitive. Out of all my runs, the one I actually found the most fun and intense was a Standard difficulty run where I combined the Frugalist (no healing items used) & Minimalist (no item box) trophies. Excluding the item box meant no access to any infinite ammo weapons or indestructible knife and required a lot of strategy when it came to item and inventory management. The lack of healing as well meant that I spent most of the game hobbling around in a severely injured state, trying desperately to avoid Mr. X or any contact at all with zombies. It was super intense and got my heart pounding on multiple occasions. As far as I’m concerned, THIS is the true Resident Evil/survival horror experience! Out of all the trophies, the most challenging by far was the ‘Hell of a Sheriff’ trophy from the No Way Out DLC. More than half of my friends list who have played this game have not bothered with that trophy and after struggling with it for a few hours it’s easy to see why. It is undoubtedly a highly frustrating mode, but once again it was packed with incredibly tense and nail-biting, pulse pounding moments that made it highly rewarding to complete, and a very fun time overall. ===== - I am adding Resident Evil 4 to my list since I’m obsessed with RE right now and couldn’t resist diving in to this one. I’ve heard so many people say it’s a masterpiece and the best entry in the series, so it’s time I found out for myself! - I’m up to the final chapter and 37% trophy completion in Celeste, another game that has been very challenging but incredibly satisfying to play. It’s shaping up to be the most impressive 2D platformer I’ve ever played. - The Trophies to Fight Cancer (event) is wrapping up at the end of this month. With Resident Evil 2 being my last submitted Orange game, I am trying my best to finish both Celeste and Sayonara Wild Hearts before the 30th so I can submit them as my final Pink games. It’s still not too late to join and knock off a couple games to submit and help kick cancer’s ass! - Looking ahead to December, I am trying to decide if I should dive into Hollow Knight, or if it’s time to show some much-needed love to my neglected PS3 list. I also have my eye on Batman: Arkham Asylum and Spec-Ops: The Line which are strong contenders for the next game. They all look super fun! ===== Excellent work on your progress everyone, and thank you for sharing your journey with the rest of us. As always, I have a great time reading through all your posts and I find inspiration in each one. Keep kickin ass y’all. ? Popular Post gruffiiti
Update time! Been busy these past few weeks working on mostly just these 2 games. Sniper Elite 3 Its been 3 years since I first started it but I finally got into (and rather quite enjoyed) Sniper Elite 3. This time I stuck with it and knocked out the platinum and dlc for the 100%. The best part was playing through the missions in co-op so thank you @AileWing. Looking forward to working on Sniper Elite 4 soon! Demon's Souls The other game I spent a lot of time in was the new Demon Souls remake for PS5. Its been a lot of fun playing co-op with @Spacey Dweeb for the most part. Id probably still be wandering around aimlessly in the Prison of Hope without this. I am just starting on my NG+ run now and the final cleanup of the trophy list. Should be a fun run and gun and boss fight kind of playthrough. Hopefully get this one wrapped up soon. Your Alien Isolation updates are seriously awesome, I really look forward to them - and I'm also keepin an eye peeled for when it's on sale again. Feels like it was always goin for like 5-10 bucks, now all of a sudden it's like NOPE! You've also got me wanting to revisit Ghost of Tsushima - I petered out with the online a while back, but I kinda wanna get back to it now! Eventually, though. Priorities? 5 hours ago, dieselmanchild said: #244 - RESIDENT EVIL 2 Gotta tell ya, I'm lovin your reviews! Have you given any thought to starting a checklist? I would happily subscribe. Loved Res 2, in fact I tackled it for the Spring challenge, and it's so well done. Hell of a Sheriff was definitely trying, but damn if it didn't feel good to knock it out - I wanna say that took an entire afternoon for me! I wish I had done like you and started with 0 and 1, but it's probably because I've already played them way back when. Still lookin forward to to though, and really glad you're enjoying the franchise! Soooo I wrote about Hitman 2016, and couldn't help myself (because I have the self control of a child) and promptly started Hitman 2. It's already so good! Don't think I'll have any problems tearing through this one, especially since I finished the legacy maps so recently, making progress on them is already feeling like it's gonna be a breeze! Down to the challenge for The Witness, and I gave it a quick few tries before work just to get a feel for it, and I don't know what I was so scared of? it's definitely tricky, and will likely take at least an afternoon's worth of serious tries, but I'm far less intimidated by it now. Especially now that I have an idea of how much post-plat material there is, and how eager I am to get to it! Red Dead Revolver hasn't gone by as quickly as I thought, but the end is near there. Just one more playthrough and one more bounty mission and that'll be done. It's a good game, not great but good, and there's just something admirable about how uncompromising they were in trying to emulate the spaghetti western genre. The goal is to have Red Dead and The Witness wrapped up, and I'm fairly certain I'll have a good chunk of Hitman 2 done as well. Then (like I said last time?) I need to get back on FFIX and Y0. Can't keep stalling, especially seeing how well all of y'all are doing! As always, thanks for writing and thanks for reading. Keep killin it, y'all? 1. Resident Evil 5 (31-->34%) 2. Yakuza 0 (22%) 3. I will finish these games eventually, but I want to play some ocean-themed games at the moment to get into the mood of my upcoming art and I have to work on rehab to heal my knee now. Sorry, guys! Hey dont worry! Trophy hunting is always a secondary activity, being real life the first and most important thing. What you're doing it's amazing and my sister would love to be an artist too, so I really admire that. Popular Post RoastedPeanut
Update #13 I guess it's that time of the week again....update time! I finished off Kaze And The Wild Masks this week. Wow, what a fun little platformer! I'm a real sucker for a good platforming game, and I have to say Kaze ticked all the boxes for me. The four different masks that you pick up in the levels were pretty fun to use, the boss fights were enjoyable, and the time trials weren't overly brutal. Thankfully you didn't have to get a gold time in all of them because some of those levels were a struggle to even shave a couple of seconds off. Initially I thought it might be tough finishing the entire game without being hit, but the levels were all very short and it was a good tactic to replay a level straight away to go for the time trial/no damage completion while a level was still fresh in my mind. The final boss had me pulling my hair out, but that came down to stupid mistakes on my part. I also made a lot more progress in Oddworld: New n Tasty than I first thought I would. I did a blind playthough, not focusing on any trophies apart from murdering Murdokans, and by the end of it I had already knocked off a huge chunk of the trophies. I'm currently doing a 100% rescue playthough while going for the sub 3 hour speedrun trophy. After that it will just be the hard 100% resuce trophy for the plat. I originally played this when it first came out, but every single trophy glitched and I finished the game still at 0%, hahaha Happy hunting, everyone! Popular Post MidnightDragon
Decided I'm going to start Voice of Cards after Thanksgiving regardless of how Puzzle Bobble goes...I'm going to try to get farther on it tomorrow. I got Brilliant Diamond on Switch, so that's gonna be taking some of my time. Sorry I've been so quiet lately. I've been making up for lost time for work and, for those of us in the US, Thanksgiving is next week, so busy with that, too.
Popular Post Liioni
Made some progress in all of the games! Finished the main story and all the trophies in Never Alone, now only the DLC left! Nearly done with the story in 2064: Read Only Memories, I'm really enjoying it, it's a great game with some awesome art! (If you are in to pixel art). Other than that I've finished the story and all the trophies connected to it in Tomb Raider, now I've got the Multiplayer trophies to tick off. Should be enough time to finish them before end of the challenge! It's so amazing to follow everyone's progress in here! It really helps with motivation! And it cheers me up when I don't have that much time to play, to see other's progress! Popular Post KimBongUn420
Update #8 - scrambling to get some real progress before Thanksgiving! Two new platinums: #128 Beyond: Two Souls Difficulty 2/10 Tediousness 7/10 Enjoyment 2/10 Holy shit did I hate this game. Beyond is David Cage at his absolute worst. Having played (and platinumed) Heavy Rain (which has its own serious flaws) and Detroit: Become Human (which ended up being a pretty good game honestly, and I credit that to Cage's robotic, awful dialogue being written for actual robots and therefore being passable), Beyond is WAY worse than either of those two games. Ridiculous plot devices, a completely nonsensical story, and Cage absolutely wasting the talent of two very good actors in Elliot Page and Willem Dafoe. Literally none of the story matters except for the last four chapters. You thought Mass Effect 3 was the OG "lol the choices really don't matter in the end" phoned-in ending? This game has it beaten by a country mile. Notable things that Cage ripped off to create this abomination of a game were: Terminator 2 (so blatant it was almost literally shot for shot in the scenes showing the "future") The Matrix Dead Space/Bioshock/System Shock the underwater scene in the not-Chinese base was a complete and unapologetic ripoff from KOTOR Tomb Raider (Jodie is dressed exactly like Lara Croft in the not-Chinese base, and I mean EXACTLY) Black Hawk Down Carrie (the entire birthday party scene) the entire microwave hallway scene from MGS4 every Resident Evil ever and probably many others I overlooked Some random ramblings I had while praying for my PS5 to grenade itself so I wouldn't have to keep playing: The not-Chinese base commander speaks English with a horrific French accent that is so bad you can't listen to his lines without laughing The control system in this game is somehow even WORSE than Heavy Rain. David Cage marginalizing rape in his writing? David Cage marginalizing rape in his writing! Yep it's in this game too. The dichotomy in the Navajo chapter between the grandmother saying "my ancestors summoned the portal because they were angry at the white man" and the land being saved years later by a white person is comically bad writing You can tell Ryan you hate his guts and in the IMMEDIATE NEXT CHAPTER you can kiss him. Cage's writing of relationships is like if the world's shittiest AI became sentient and tried to make Match.com backstories for people. There are multiple instances where things appear in the game even after you make the choices for them to not appear because Cage couldn't even keep his own damn plot straight Again, the entire story is a complete and utter waste of time because none of the plot has any bearing on the endings. The entire plot can be summed up as "Green Goblin wants to get his family back so he goes literally fucking insane, and for this is rewarded by being placed at the head of a CIA black agency with unlimited money so he can summon the Horcruxes of his dead wife and daughter and try to resurrect them. Oh and when he can't, he commits suicide in front of the spirits of said wife and daughter so he can be with them. If I didn't know any better I'd make the argument that David Cage is promoting suicide Oh also if Norman Osborne kills discount Ryan Philippe at the end it LITERALLY DOESN'T MATTER because the ending for Green Goblin is STILL THE EXACT SAME. They treat him killing Ryan as if NOTHING HAPPENED. Aiden's powers are hilariously scripted to fit the narrative of the script and if he actually had his real powers the whole time the entire story would have been 5 minutes long When the CIA agents are on missions, they're shown wearing shirts that have the CIA logo on them. Absolutely incredible. This game is unfit for human consumption Truly one of the worst games I've ever played. I wish I had never popped the 3 trophies 4 years ago that led me to put this in my backlog. I'd rather play Erica 100 times in a row than ever touch this dumpster fire ever again. #129: Deathloop Difficulty 3/10 Tediousness 4/10 Enjoyment 8.5/10 Pretty much plays like Dishonored meets Groundhog Day with guns. It's a ton of fun. Some publications are saying it's a contender for GOTY; I don't think it's quite on that level due to technical issues but it's pretty close. The story is pretty good and certainly better than it needed to be to support a roguelite game. The gunplay is extremely satisfying although I think the linearity of the controls could be dialed in a bit better. For such a small map there are a ton of things to explore and paths to breaking the loop. It's a really well done implementation that I think is very good at being a gateway to the roguelike/roguelite genres. Some of the trinkets are really not balanced and you do kind of get to the point where you completely break the game, but that really only comes into play during the mop-up for the final trophies so it doesn't negatively impact the core story experience at all. The platinum is achievable just as the roguelite aspect starts to get a little tiring and the game gets to be too easy. It's perfectly timed and I think the game is paced quite nicely - better than any of the Dishonored games for sure. The multiplayer is still really broken. I have my PS5 hardwired into a symmetrical gigabit connection and I was getting latency that was measurable in entire seconds. Also had the game crash on me in MP a few times. The idea is there, and when it works it's great, but it's frustrating to play right now. Arkane has put out several large patches addressing issues, including a big one this past week, so I'm confident they'll address it. Overall highly recommend and it's easily one of the top 5 games I've played this year. Other updates: LA Noire - on the last Vice case. Had intended to finish before Thanksgiving but decided to get B:TS and Deathloop out of the way instead. Still enjoyable although I think it plays best in pieces rather than trying to do the entire game all at once. Far Cry 6 - I made it through the first chapter, so far am liking it a lot more than 5. I am planning on doing the DLC for this, even though it's not required, and as such finished the Vaas DLC a couple days ago. Vaas is such a great villain and the DLC was surprisingly pretty fun to play - to me it's the best Far Cry DLC since Blood Dragon. The decision to go with a roguelike for the DLC is something really out of left field but it works quite well and is suitably challenging at Mind Level 5. Most Far Cry DLC is pretty aggressively meh but this one is definitely worth checking out. Will continue making my way through the main story some time next month. No more updates for a bit as I'll be traveling the rest of the month - happy early Thanksgiving to everyone and keep popping those trophies! Color Key: Green: Completed Game (This Update) (100% or Plat) Blue: Completed Game (Previous Updates) (100% or Plat) Orange: In-Progress Games (The percent change since last update is in parentheses) Purple: Newly-Added Games Black (Non-Bolded): No Change Since Last Update Swaps: 1/5 Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - (Sept 7) Life is Strange 2 - 10% Erica - (Nov 8) Fallout 4 - 15% Ghost Recon Breakpoint - 92% 428: Shibuya Scramble - 17% Dragon Quest XI S - (Oct 7) Beyond: Two Souls [PS4] - 4% -> (Nov 17) Subnautica [PS5] - (Nov 8) Deathloop - 64% -> (Nov 20) Ys IX: Monstrum Nox - (Nov 3) LA Noire - 31% -> 54% Far Cry 6 [PS5] - 0% -> 26% Games Complete: 7/13 Total Trophies: 445/653 (68%)

Two new platinums: #128 Beyond: Two Souls Difficulty 2/10 You win the internet with this post! There was so much truth about David Cage's absolutely interminable writing that I'm surprised you didn't rip a hole in the space time continuum. 16 minutes ago, KimBongUn420 said: Notable things that Cage ripped off to create this abomination of a game were: Terminator 2 (so blatant it was almost literally shot for shot in the scenes showing the "future") The Matrix Dead Space/Bioshock/System Shock the underwater scene in the not-Chinese base was a complete and unapologetic ripoff from KOTOR Tomb Raider (Jodie is dressed exactly like Lara Croft in the not-Chinese base, and I mean EXACTLY) Black Hawk Down Carrie (the entire birthday party scene) the entire microwave hallway scene from MGS4 every Resident Evil ever and probably many others I overlooked That's a great idea to run down all the things he ripped off for each game he's made- because I end up getting so frustrated whenever people say positive things about him as a writer or a creative and I just want to scream or say " BUT HE DID THIS, THIS AND THIS, worse than it was originally done in these following examples" It's pretty shameless isn't it - paying homage is fine to a point - but he isn't doing that. He's just ripping it off, assuming that's fine and that nobody will possibly notice - because Mr Cage thinks he's so intelligent that he's beyond reproach. I'm going to stop before I write a similarly long rant to the one you just did - because I totally forgot how much bits of that game wound me up too. I'm not sure about playing Erica 100 times as an alternative - I struggled with motivation with even the one extra playthrough I needed to do because I missed something 100 would definitely see me biting down on some leather in a padded cell. I do like that kid Salim that you meet in one of the chapters - but....... Then you ruin his life ?..... So you can't even have that be a nice thing. Great run downs though, really enjoyed those - and at least you're making great progress with the event - let us just hope that no Gremlins boot up the PS3 version of Beyond Two Souls on your account. On 16/11/2021 at 2:31 AM, DizzyDavidson said: To sum it up, it's a fun LEGO game with some occasional IRL LEGO stuff. I did read the whole thing - I'm just quoting this specific bit. Thanks for the feedback though, I had no idea you could just buy the disc tags - I think as you mentioned, actually being able to build the LEGO yourself like the game wants you to, would be pretty satisfying, so that'd definitely be the option I'd like to go. The fact you can just buy the disc tags does make me a little more tempted though if I can find them for a decent enough price - because I've always wanted to play Dimensions purely for the Doctor Who level, even if it's a fairly small one. It's about the closest I'm likely to get to a LEGO Doctor Who game - some of the other packs look pretty good too. So I'll definitely look into it. Thanks the prompt feedback too! 2 hours ago, Liioni said: Nearly done with the story in 2064: Read Only Memories, I'm really enjoying it, it's a great game with some awesome art! It is absolutely brimming with memorable characters too. I love seeing more people pick that one up and give it a go. I hope you enjoy the rest of your time with it. Congrats on all your other progress too.
