Popular Post RoastedPeanut
Update #15 Bit of a rough week personally, so I haven't had the chance to really do much. I started up Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion though and have already knocked off a huge amount of it, but apart from that there's been nothing. I'll try and pick things up, but yeah things are a little crappy for me at the moment so we'll see Happy hunting, everyone! After working a few double shifts I've had a couple of days off to chill and game. I've finished Voice of Cards. It's a nice, simplistic, old school style RPG with a good narrator (ala Bastion) and the creative hand of Yoko Taro Not ground breaking but a pleasurable play. I've completed a few scenes in MuvLuv. I find this hard to play at times because I know the end is coming and I always get post games blues after a good RPG or visual novel. I've finished a chapter and got a few misc trophies for Corpse Party. The new turn based asymetrical battle game in the Warhammer 40K universe, BattleSector, is being added to my list. I'm a bit of a sucker for 40K games and instabought this one. Unlike most 40K games, this title is genuinely good and well made (no bugs or crashes). Trophy wise, it seems fair with none of the impossible grinds (due to bugs and also high numbers) required like other 40k games. I think you can even use hotseat mode to unlock the MP trophies I also want to add my last games of the year: Rune Factory 4 and Persona 5. RF4 I've always wanted to play but it was on nintendo consoles. P5 I've been meaning to finish it since I first binge played in the release window to the point of making myself very unwell. This week I plan to finish BattleSector and Corse Party. Depending on work and bodyclock (I'm doing some night shifts) of course. Have a good one

The Good Life: Nothing to show trophy-wise but I'm inching ever so close to getting all but the money trophy. The combat is terrible in this game. You can take up human, cat or dog forms. The human form is useless for combat, cat is the only one with lock-on but is weak (and can still miss), so the dog is the only choice really for bigger animals. Hit boxes are awful and the camera doesn't help at all. You can eat food in the game that boosts attack/defense which helps somewhat by needing less hits to get in and not losing health depending on what you fight. Luckily all combat is done other than fighting little birdies for rare item drops, the cat should work just fine. I should have all trophies done next week except for money earned. For that I "only" have to do 835 races lasting about a minute each plus loading time and advancing to next day (only gives money for 1st race of the day), IF I don't mess up. Fun! Shadow of the Tomb Raider: I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm still searching all around the map finding whatever I can. My save file says I'm 26% done. I knocked out bunch of the combat trophies that are missable, but little progress in the story. I hope I can do more next week. Personal Goals: All but 1 trophy in TGL by next week's end (plat by end of the year) 100% in SotTR by Xmas 100% in LEGO Dimensions by the end of Xmas break (which I'll play next) Let's see if I can actually keep to it. Game on everyone! Edited December 6, 2021 by DizzyDavidson

Popular Post gruffiiti
Finished up the Touryst Friday night and then took Saturday night off gaming (which is rare for me) as I was exhausted from running around all day. Sunday was choke full of sports to watch but I did manage to chip away at a few trophies in Sniper Elite 4. The Touryst Finished this one up on Friday night with the help of my daughter. She saw the game on the PS5 dashboard and asked if it was fun. I loaded it up and she surprised me with how quickly she picked up the controls and started completing various quests. It was pretty fun until we got to a precision platforming bit which took a number of fails to finally get. I managed to finish the game that night after she went to bed but decided to leave it on the console for more sessions in the future. Sniper Elite 4 Started on the dlc for this but haven't got too far yet as I decided to work on some slightly grindy trophies to get them out of the way. (kill 250 times with Secondary Weapon, etc) Also was pretty hilarious setting traps and baiting soldiers into them and watch them ragdoll when it explodes. If all goes well I should be starting on Authentic+ tonight. Not sure how long that will take to get through but should be pretty doable with a co-op buddy i think. Max Payne 3 - 92% ===== #245 - Celeste It’s been a long time coming, but I finally got around to checking out Celeste and it was every bit as good as I’d heard. Admittedly I am still relatively nooby when it comes to this genre, having only stepped into the world of metroidvanias and 2D platformers a couple years ago. But as far as 2D platformers go, Celeste is easily the best one I’ve ever played. Just a couple posts back I was raving about Guacamelee 2 and my love for the clever, mind-bending platforming design of those games. But Celeste takes that kind of puzzle-platforming style, cranks it up to 10, and injects it with an overdose of steroids. The platforming design is simply brilliant, and combined with the beautiful pixel art style, the sublime soundtrack, and a story that covers a number of important topics and packs a surprisingly emotional punch, the overall result was easily one of the most memorable games I’ve played. One of the most unique aspects of Celeste is the infamous assist mode, which is the only thing that stands between this game’s 40% rarity and a 0.1% UR. While on one hand it sucks that the few legitimate achievers don’t have any way to distinguish themselves from the rest of us, on the other hand, in terms of accessibility I thought it was actually really great. The way the assist system allows you to mix and match settings, or decide exactly how much or how little assistance you want to use, means that Celeste is not only a game for platforming gods, it can be enjoyed by just about anyone from all ages, ability and skill levels, and each player gets to decide for themselves exactly what they want out of the experience. As a personal rule, I decided that assist mode would be off-limits for me during the main story, no matter how long I got stuck, and would be reserved for collectible cleanup and the notorious B & C side chapters. I chose a text guide on IGN to find the locations of the strawberries as I went along, but to avoid being shown how to actually obtain them. I wanted to figure out all the puzzle rooms myself. I’m really glad I stuck to this rule because although it was really tough at times, it felt truly rewarding to step foot on the summit of the mountain! My final stats at the summit were: 2056 deaths ~160 strawberries with most tapes & crystal hearts 14:27:06 play time As a side note, I noticed Celeste was created by a Canadian studio and that Celeste is actually the name of a real mountain in Strathcona Provincial Park on Vancouver Island, B.C. I ran a search out of curiosity and found that the Google reviews and ratings for the mountain are absolutely hilarious. ===== 100% - Resident Evil 4 After posting my last update and finishing Resident Evil 2 remake, I was still itching for some more zombie killing and couldn’t resist jumping in to my next Resident Evil game straight away. I don’t yet own RE3 so I decided to skip ahead to RE4 which I’ve been itching to play for some time now. This time, the game is set in the remote Spanish countryside as Leon Kennedy investigates a cult that kidnapped the President’s daughter, and made for a setting and atmosphere that is possibly my favourite of any Resident Evil game yet. The 1st and 2nd acts in particular were brilliant, with the former taking place in a dreary rural village full of possessed Ganado villagers, and the latter being set in a large gothic castle that returns to the labyrinthian, puzzle-oriented style of earlier RE games. The castle was of particular interest to me as the intersection between the earliest version of RE4 and what later became Devil May Cry is quite obvious in many areas. Out of all the Devil May Cry games, DMC1 has this unique spooky, gothic-horror atmosphere that sets it apart from the other games in the DMC series, and the similarities between the castle settings in DMC1 & RE4 is quite obvious. At the very least it makes for an interesting piece of game development history. I never got to experience RE4 back in it’s day, but even looking through a modern lens 16 years after it’s release, I must say this game holds up remarkably well today. It’s very easy to see why it’s widely considered to be a masterpiece and one of the most influential games ever released. The departure from the fixed camera angles and slower pace of previous RE games would have been a controversial change at the time, but there’s no doubt the over-the-shoulder camera angles and faster paced action style works very well here and makes for a tense and wild ride, even if the scary horror stuff takes a bit of a back seat here. By modern standards, the tank controls do require a bit of an adjustment and can feel very awkward at first, but it’s something that you will quickly adapt to. It’s not perfect, and with the lack of mobility I often found myself suffering frustrating deaths (especially on Professional difficulty where the enemies have drastically increased speed and aggression) where I would be killed and feel like I just didn’t get a proper chance to dodge or react before being overrun. But it’s a minor nuisance and didn’t detract from the overall experience. I’ve heard that a remake of Resident Evil 4 is in the works and I am super excited to see how it turns out. While RE4 holds up very well to this day, there’s no doubt the game is deserving of a ground up remake and could benefit from a modernized movement and control scheme, and touched up graphics. Also, I really hope it gets a proper trophy list this time around as my only gripe with Resident Evil 4 was the inexplicable lack of a platinum trophy. It’s quite a long and challenging game, with both of my playthroughs clocking in at 20 hours or more. Putting in all that time and effort for a measly 12 trophies felt pretty underwhelming at the end of the journey. Thankfully the game itself is fantastic and well worth the time. Resident Evil 4 is easily one of my favourites I’ve played so far. ===== - Started Batman: Arkham Asylum - I am expecting to get a little sidetracked this month with both Mortal Shell & LEGO DC Supervillains from the PS+ lineup so it could be awhile before my next update. Keep up the good work everyone. ?
Popular Post freddie1989
So not much of an update for me this time. It had frankly been a week from hell after a gentleman forgot to brake in the snow and ploughed through the back of me writing off my car in the process. Enough of that. Managed to finish a 1st playthough of Last of Us which as most know is a truly outstanding game and it was no different for me. Amazing story, great gameplay. Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 4.0.: Happy Holidays everyone! Sorry for posting after a month and a bit later... November took the toll of the year, and shamefully, I hadn't had enough time to play as much as my heart's content. I just managed to finish one game on the whole month, and even the time it took me was more than expected; afterwards, I finished another one but again, my agenda couldn't meet my expectations and well... This is disappointing because I had to do it better. I know I can, but somehow the spirits of gaming don't want me to complete this list as much as wish. However, I rely on the upcoming break and spent as much as I can to release the log and make more progress, as I'm saving few titles I wanted to play so long. Let's see the numbers now, and discuss this. Attack of the toy Tanks ~ 100% Warface ~ 100% LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 ~ 100% Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ~ 3% → 100% Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition ~ 0% → 100% GT Sport ~ 0% → 9% Splitgate ~ 0% Hollow Knight ~ 0% Knockout City ~ 0% Doom Eternal ~ 0% First Class Trouble ~ 0% Spider-Man: Miles Morales ~ 0% Starlink: Battle for Atlas ~ 0% Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling ~ 0% Among Us ~ 0% Arcade Game Series: Mrs. Pac-Man ~ 0% Dragon Ball Xenoverse ~ 0% Start talking about the controversial, polarizing and quite infamous Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. This game stunned me to a degree I still need to digest. I shared a review about my play through few weeks ago; in it, I tried to explain the best as I could (sorry from my limited lexicon, despite I read A LOT in English, the words doesn't stick with me; even the idioms that I frequently find and are funny sometimes!) the experience it brought me. To be plain and direct, it was beyond my expectations. In fact, many sections of the game surprised me and reaffirmed my belief that the 7th generation (2006-2013) of video game consoles was the best one to date. The graphics, the ambient music, the atmosphere brought in every level, the in-depth and immersion it gave me has been one of the best I've had recently. Call it a punch or boost of pure nostalgia, but the adventure felt natural, interesting, mysterious and innovative; brave as the game is on a renowned franchise as this from Konami's, it was impressive that the developers wanted to bring something fresh yet risky on a game of this caliber. As far, the game chilled me up a lot, while I wish to have finished it in less time as it took me; it is long as it requires, minimum 2 playthroughs, but due to my lack of sparing time it was more than that. Nevertheless, the real struggle was at the final boss which adaptation, improvement and good timing where the key to succeed. Somehow, this entry makes me wonder what a Dark Souls can be (despite I've played games with that type of mechanics), but in all honesty I'm not so fond of it as I like more hectic and quick advancement in the game that being stuck with a boss forever. I highly recommend this game to everyone, and put aside your preconceived views about it! Continuing with Bulletstorm: Full Clip Editon, I felt perplexed about what this game was about. Firstly, there's a genre called "bullet-hell", in which basically everything is so fast and unforgiven, almost pixel perfect to even progress, that, I thought, would be nicer to introduce me into a game like this, more into a 3D one since isn't of my knowledge that there's one with such features. It wasn't the case at all, but a funny and hilarious FPS with a twist where you perform several feats in order to attain points which will be spent to increase the perks of your weapons. I think this one is a hybrid between what is Doom and Gears of War, since the feeling on both is perceived early on and the mechanics of your typical shooter are still there. Again, I was committed to finish it before a week since started it, but couldn't and was really close to get a decent completion time, much to my disdain about it. The game is entertaining, while trophy wise isn't that difficult nor long, can be felt like a chore due to very specific tasks you must perform to pop-up few meanwhile you're into the hunting. Not much complicated, but I recommend having a nice partner to help out with the co-op aspect. Mine was adept and quickly grasp the requirements for the trophies, and we managed to get few for both of us, and I hope he finishes it too as his close for the Platinum. In resume, B: FCE is a nice shooter with the glimpse of an arcade point-earning feature as its core, and while can be tedious at moments, the fun is at it best and despite being an old game still stands as a solid one in its terms. On other side, let's talk about GT Sport. While I haven't had the time to properly grind out this one, I think that this game must have its own considerations. Never thought of it as a super hard game, and still think that, but is more about practice than nothing and being used to what you have in front. While not being so used to simulators, especially driving ones, I need to study it to claim my Platinum; have confidence that I can triumph in this if I put the enough work and make a good strategy to tackle it properly. But at the moment is just a preview, since just played it few hours and still don't know where to start at all. The grind is real, and honestly don't feel intimidated by it. I'm used to multiplayer competitive scene to some degree, so playing against other isn't daunting as many make it to think. Only time will say how this can treat me, but even if I die from frustration I must remember that you guys are putting all your effort and passion into this challenge; need to be at the stake as you and don't give in so quick! Thinking this could be longer to proportionate the time in my absence, this is the most I can share at the moment with you guys. I added few more titles to the list; as Spider-Man: No Way Home is at the corner already, I'm super hyped as I'm a deep fan of the character so decided the best time to play Miles Morales would be this around. Also, to continue my nostalgia trip, Starlink seems dope and goes for my expectations about it can be met, as I love rail-shooters too; the name resembles that of an anthropomorphic canine which crew is sent into a mission across their star system and by the time, Bug Fables is another title that hopefully opens the next year as I envisioned this almost over 2021... Anyway, in the meantime I'm curious about Among Us trophy list, and wish isn't a disappointment as other tiles released this year as they feel unjust as other platforms got better treatment in achievements lists as compared with PS platforms. Wishing all of you a magical and relaxing Holiday celebrations and, if everything goes according to the plan, I'll be writing some time around the very end of the year, if not until the new one. Please take care too and take your measurements in this winter (on Northern Hemisphere) and take a good time in your hunt, cheers!

Popular Post GraniteSnake
Double post but... Update #4: Currently my rarest plat in terms of achievers, I was the 151st person to earn it! Would be a very challenging platinum if not for the cloud save exploit in 88 Hero mode. This was really tedious, needing to upload/download saves every time I passed/failed a level. You die in one hit in this game. Third world, Volcano, was by far the most challenging for me. Some really nasty levels. Magnificent 8 and Solo Mode can be cheesed with Ms. Fortune. There was around 2 hours worth of grinding left once I had the three main modes done which wasn't bad at all! Glad to have this finally out of my backlog -------------------- Adding FIFA 15 before I go over the threshold. Should have the platinum either late today or sometime tomorrow. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 15 - It's done folks! 200th Platinum Milestone achieved! And I kept the 'every 50th will be an RE game' traditiion going by making it Resident Evil 0. Platinum 199 - Life is Stange: True Colours When they pushed out the marketing campaign for this game initially I had some reservations. I wasn't sure about the super powers that the main character had. We had Chronomancy and Telekinesis, now we have.....super empathy? But I was pleasantly surprised when I actually started playing it, because they actually did some pretty decent stuff with the abilities Alex has. It's not just about picking up on the emotions of someone, Alex also has the ability to do other things like touch some emotionally charged objects and 'see' events or things that have happened in relation to that ability, so some kind of psychic imprint recall? She can also 'connect' to someone with some kind of psychic ethernet cable and reconstruct a past event by piggybacking off their emotional state. Either way, it's way more detailed and nuanced than the initial marketing let on. It's a very different pace to LiS and LiS 2 in that there isn't an overwhelming sense of urgency. Like the 'oh shit a massive storm is coming' danger of LiS or the sheer 'on the run' anxiety the second game had. Honestly LiS 2 was great, but it was the most anxiety inducing journeys in a narrative video game. LiS:True Colours slows the pace down significantly. You aren't on the run, there isn't some horrifying danger incoming. It's more of a slow burning mystery surrounded by a tragedy that occurs, it frees you up to get to know some key residents in a small town and over time come to love or hate certain people there. I liked the slower pace and the mining town surroundings are really idyllic and picturesque. Gameplay-wise it's quite different from the episodic games that came before, you pretty much have free reign of a small section within the mining town where you can pick up on people's thoughts, engage in small pseudo-side missions, wander into shops and browse objects and generally get to know the people that are now your neighbours. I really liked that element and I think it's a direction that the developers could explore even further with whatever next game they are undoubtedly planning in the franchise. Platinum 200 - Resident Evil 0 Here we are then. Platinum 200. RE0 was one of my favourite RE games back when I played it on the Gamecube initially. I wasn't a huge fan of the story in general, but I really loved the spin it put on the inventory management system. It got quite a bit of hate because the game did away with the traditional item boxes and left things down to the inventory space of the two playable characters that you needed to switch between. I really enjoyed that part of it, especially because it forced you to strategise where to leave your partner and which of your partners you should control for a situation. My main criticism were the enemy types, RE0 seemed to be fixated on bugs and animals because the devs really went all-in on things like giant centipedes, spiders, leeches, crickets (I think they were crickets), cyborg apes and so on. The pre-rendered backgrounds, which were a staple of that generation of RE games are gorgeous. The opening train level is of particular note, if it wasn't swarming with leeches and zombies, it would be one of the most luxurious trains in video games. I think I'm going to make Platinum 250 the Resident Evil remake to follow on with that trend. Even after 19 years Hunters still put the fear in me and with the exception of one really cheap shot it takes at you, the game did a great job of throwing them in your path at unexpected moments. It wasn't a perfect experience by any means, but it was a slice of nostalgia that I really welcomed and something that I'm really happy to have completely experienced after playing it 19 years go. 19 years.....so much has happened since then! Next up I'm going to be continuing to focus on Far Cry 6 and Chorus. I fully intended to make a start on Chorus, but the former got its hooks into me big time. I'll have more to share, but I'm really loving Far Cry 6! Way more than I expected to. Hope everyone is doing well and your passage through the Christmas rush and madness is a smooth one! See you in the next update. Popular Post Heather342
Update 18 Another week of the challenge has gone by, and it's been a pretty productive week ?. Mostly I've been playing AC Black Flag, while also sporadically jumping into Ghost of Tsushima multiplayer doing the mastery challenges to get my gear to level 120. I've assembled my raid party, and we're gonna have our first attempt at the raid on Monday ? I made significant progress in Assassin's Creed this week. I finished all the story sequences and got the majority of the trophies. All I have left to get are the grindy trophies - upgrading the ship, upgrading the hideout, recruit 500 crew etc. I also need to finish some secondary naval contracts and then replay some sequences for the 100% sync before I tackle the legendary ships ?. But for now I have jumped back to the Freedom Cry DLC to clean up Adewale's story. I already did the standalone version of the game earlier in the challenge, so hoping to run through it pretty quickly this time. I'm already at sequence 5 of 9 for this, so should have it done before the weekend is over ?. Trophy progress: - Assassin's Creed Black Flag - 28 -> 76% Happy hunting gang! ?

Popular Post willythom88
Update So I done went and got into Ghost of Tsushima. Great great. I'm about half way through the story from what I can tell and I keep jumping in and out of the main path to do side content. I'm about 15 hours in, and I'm trying to be done before the end of the year. I will be using my last 2 swaps, just to clear some stuff I know I won't touch before the end of February out. I'm also trying not to add anything new until Horizon Forbidden West comeso ut, so I'll be dropping the stuff I haven't touched yet. Unfortunately, this does mean I'll be dropping Tales of Xillia, but I am intending on getting that added next summer. I'm definitely not expecting to finish everything, but there are a couple I'd love to knock out before this is done, espiceally Ghost, Jedi Fallen Order, Amplitude, and Lego City Undercover. GOW3 took a bit longer than expected, we got busy at work and Thanksgiving I had like 5 days off straight and the save file was on the work PS3. Decent title, some annoying parts to be expected with a GOW game, yet overall it was fine. Kind of a strange end story, however I'm sure some enjoyed it. * I've picked up PVZ Garden Warfare (PS3) and highly recommend the game. I think it has great graphics and art design, a wide variety of customization options, and a high replay value. Sometimes it can be annoying if you just miss an objective or a trophy, yet the learning curve isn't so hard that you won't all be able to achieve it. I only boosted Split Pea Zombie Soup with @ZooMAirRuN21 and much thanks. The rest of the trophies can all be done in online or offline play, currently 1 away from that plat. * Very interested in hearing about the game that Netherealm studios is working on, would like to know if its the next MK, Injustice, or a different game.

We tried to do the first mission without using the Host save and promptly got gunned down within minutes. We have since used the save and have completed the first few missions multiple times. Having that save can be a huge time saver when you get into a sticky situation that becomes near impossible to get out of. Appreciate the looking out though!
Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Here's a short update from me, since I've been traveling in Colombia the last few weeks and haven't had a lot of playing time. I've completed Guardians of the Galaxy and I really enjoyed it a lot! Would recommend to people enjoying a fun story and some enjoyable gameplay. Other then that I've still been playing Hades and Lost Judgment. Hades I'm making quite some progress on, shouldn't take me too long not to finish the game. As for Lost Judgment, I'm almost finished with my first main story play through. Only 2 more chapters I think. After that I need to complete all the side quests and side content, which should take me a while. I'm still really enjoying the game, so should be good. 1. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - 100% 2. Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020 - 100% 3. Overcooked: all you can eat - 38% --> 100% 4. Hades - 54% --> 71% 5. Lost Judgment - 18% --> 20% 6. Guardians of the Galaxy - 45% --> 100% 7. Popular Post Bl4ckb1rd92
Update: Beginning of the weekend, lots of time to play games. Dark Souls II - started at 50% --> 03DEC2021 Feels a little weird to not have my go-to Friday night game. Spyro 2 - started at 19% --> 06SEP2021 Control - started at 13% --> 04DEC2021 --> 100% 7 hours later FFVII - started at 10% --> 03DEC2021 Dark Cloud - started at 0% --> 12NOV2021 Spyro 3 - started at 8% --> 30OCT2021 Call of Cthulhu - started at 22% --> 03DEC2021 Naruto: UNS - started at 10% --> 01NOV2021 Greedfall - started at 14% --> currently at 17% Started Hades and haven't quite made my way back to this one, yet. I'll get back to it soon enough. Fernz Gate - started at 1% --> 12NOV2021 Antiquia Lost - started at 0% --> 03DEC2021 Revenant Dogma - started at 0% --> currently at 5% Going to do this one on 26DEC. Gravity Rush - started at 5% --> currently at 53% Made a lot of progress here this week. Pretty happy with it. Back to hating sliding, anyone know if the camera was any better on the PS4? I've gotten used to the playstyle of the game and was thinking about doing it again and picking up the second one as well. Moss - started at 0% --> Haven't gotten to this one, yet. It's on the to-do list. Got it downloaded for when I'm ready. Skyrim - started at 0% --> Haven't gotten to this one, yet. It's on the to-do list. Got it downloaded for when I'm ready. Looking forward to reminiscing! Hades - started at 0% --> currently 56% I have fallen in love with this game. I'll probably go straight to doing it all over again on the PS4 when this challenge is complete. Man, oh man am I enjoying this one. I definitely see some DLC in the future. So I've completed 10/16 games on my list, used 1/5 swaps (because Berserk deserves a milestone slot), and 1/2 games started above 33% (but still below 50%). Two guides published over the course of this challenge. 55.20% completion. I'm estimating a total of 240ish hours remain. If my schedule continues to clear up I may end up adding one more game near the end. Not included in the challenge, I've been clearing up Clicker Heroes with my PS4 since I'm running a PS5 game on my PS5 for once. Trying to get that UR . Given the franchise's track record with remakes, I'm on board with a new four! Also, seeing you starting Asylum gave me a healthy push to get on it myself! The mere fact that you're traveling around in Colombia but still have some time for gaming impresses the hell out of me. That's dedication! I've had another slow week, unfortunately. A few peeps got canned at work - one for being mouthy and one for the glug glug - so my work schedule has been ramped up again. Also, wifey has been binging on reality TV lately, which means the living room television isn't as easy to get access to as usual! Next week will probably be just as slow, because our wedding anniversary is coming up and I have a big day planned... cuz y'know, I like, love her n shit. I know, gross, right?? Still plowing through Hitman 2, and it's still a blast. Finally going through the newer locations now, and they're absolutely stunning. It's cool cuz each time I move onto the next one, I love just running around and getting the feel for the new map, like "let's get comfy in our new home for the next few days!" The game is so packed to the gills with possibilities that by the time I reach mastery level 20, I'm like "but... but there was more stuff to... eh that's fine, we still got Hitman 3, right??" San Andreas is still great, and the urge to just drive around listening to the radio and ignoring missions is still overpowering? I'm reminded how much I hated Zero and Toreno, their missions are just.... y'know what Charlie Brown looks like when he's like AAUUUGGHHH? At least that's what I look like when I'm playing them! Lastly... it's time to be realistic, and cash in on my first swap. I've got games on the side I want to complete this month in addition to the challenge, and I'm just going to have to start dropping the longer games - starting with Tony Hawk. I'm really happy with the progress I've made with it, but I'm gonna have to get back to that one later. In its stead, I will be adding a few games that have been chillin in the unplayed portion of my backlog. A few because I don't think it's fair to trade out an 8/10 game for a 1/10! I'll be adding Grim Fandango (long time coming, this one), Dex (thank you Mr. Clarke!), Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (Thank you Doc!), and Islanders (Thank you Realm!). Hopefully the shorter games will spur my productivity, I'm confident that Hitman 2 and San Andreas will be done well before the month's end.
