Popular Post ladynadiad
1. Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny - 14% 2. Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom - 31% ---> 46% 3. Resonance of Fate - 10% 4. Drakengard 3 - 0% 5. Dragon Quest XI - 0% 6. Flower - 47% Made some great progress in Shiness last night. Beat the next story boss and got the second hardest trophy in the game. That trophy is for beating a boss with a S rank. So that means you have to be fast and take little damage and on bosses that pretty much is being absolutely perfect in spamming hyper attacks during one phase and then avoiding damage and being fast in the last one. Took me a lot of tries because this game doesn't have the best of controls and if it decides not to respond to using an item you can go from full HP to KO in no time. On top of that, you have to perform the button command for the hyper attack perfect multiple times. Not fun at all. Now I'm somewhat stuck in an area where I have to pull off shooting a cannon 5 times in less than 5 minutes. Easy enough, but between each time there's a battle with a minimum of 3 soldiers. The only way to finish these battles fast is to spam hypers again, but the party member I used for the above trophy left the party and the remaining ones I suck at doing the button commands with. I swear, Shiness just is a game of constantly getting stuck until I power through just to get stuck again. Not going to be a fun plat to get at all and I have two playthroughs minimum to do here.

I've played a bit over the years here and there and just am determined to finish it finally by the end of this year. It's very much like a Harvest Moon or Ateiler game. Lots of crafting and doing random stuff but it's pretty generous since you don't have a time limit to complete stuff and just mess around to build up money or go fishing or generally goof off to your heart's content and not lock yourself out of the plat. Perfectly fine game if you enjoy those sorts and a nice chill experience overall since you don't have the pressure of deadlines. In fact it's so low key and chill that sometimes I get sleepy if I play it too long. Edited September 3, 2021 by ladynadiad

There is meant to be Rune Factory 4 release on playstation 4 this winter/fall though. Enjoy a great game

Really excited to get this one done - I bought Ys VIII on a whim in the middle of last year and it ended up being one of my favorite JRPGs. Also, Ys VIII was worth playing for the soundtrack alone. Hoping IX's is just as good. Third time playing through Fallout 4, and it's still a blast. Never got around to doing any of the DLC on my PC playthroughs so that'll be a new experience. Rift Apart is really good, though the trophy list is extremely disappointing so far (way too easy). Putting Super Motherload on the backburner for a while; probably will revisit it later down the line. The game is inferior in a lot of ways to its Flash predecessor and I'm just not enjoying it. Might end up being my first swap; we'll see

Both are good games and it seems to boil down to which style a person likes better. I personally liked IX better than VIII, but a big part of that is that IX's cast is great and I love the darker setting. The gameplay is a huge improvement and you'll have a blast with the Monstrum Gifts, that's for sure. Gliding and running up walls is a lot of fun and you'll definitely have to think about how you get all those chests for the plat.

Gliding and running up walls is a lot of fun and you'll definitely have to think about how you get all those chests for the plat. I personally find Ys 8 better due to the story(I find it’s more grim then Ys9 actually) cast. Setting, and epically music. Gameplay is possibly better then 8, but at times the Adventure gear felt more rewarding when it came to exploration and idk movement felt better in combat in 8 too. 9s story is ok but it didn’t really pick up till chapter 5(when the game is nearly over) But combat is still solid and the munstrum powers are fun to to explore with. Also I ldk if it’s just me but ys9 felt very ToCS in places, same devs I know, but it just makes Ys9 feel less like it’s own thing at times. just all my opinion of course. Btw I like to say sorry to everyone in here if I don’t actively post in the topic for a little bit Im trying to finish up Sine Mora Ex and Cold Steel 2 before I commit to the event. So far it's OK but nothing more than that. There is the graphic improvement and the controls kind of improved, but without all the explosions going on it kind of feels like a downgrade from Just Cause 3. I decided to put it back on the shelf for now. I'll get back to it somewhere next month Need for Speed Shift 2: Unleashed This will probably be one of the first games I'll finish for the challenge. Made a decent amount of progress and overall it's a nice game for it's age. I managed to get all the online trophies done before the servers shut down August 31st. There are so many little exploits you can use in this game that make it a little less of a grind. The part where most of my time will be spent is mastering all tracks during day and night while collection 100 badges and finishing 250 objectives. Dead Space 3 Decided to also pick-up Dead Space 3 again where I left it a couple months ago. Working my way through the co-op first just to get it out of the way. It's mediocre at best, and the fact that I can play it without getting scared at all says enough about how "scary" it actually is. Progress on this one will be a bit slower. Silent Hill: Book of Memories So we managed to find a way to duplicate weapons in multiplayer, which means dual wielding the strongest weapons while we move our way up to zone 100. Probably starting it this weekend or next week. In the meantime I still need to finish some online stuff in Max Payne 3 before the servers shut down. Shouldn't take more than 2 days really. That's it for my first update! Hope everyone is having fun and getting stuff done!! Edited September 4, 2021 by neospoon

Popular Post Heather342
Update 1 But not really an update for this challenge, as I haven't actually started any games on my list yet ?. But I did spend the week clearing a game that has been on my backlog for a while, but the percentage was too high to include in the challenge officially. Managed to finish up World of Final Fantasy, I did enjoy this game, but the grind at the end was a bit tedious. Plans for Week 2 - play through the stand alone Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry game. Popular Post StilRh
Hi all. Update time. This week has been fairly productive though I've not focused on a single title and have been playing Aliens Fireteam on the side. I have spent the most time with Coven of Dusk. It's an excellent DRPG and with characters, story and music/art design that hooks you only like NISA games can. I also completed a few vanilla campaign missions in AOW, started a city in Cities, got half-way through the game on a fresh save in Shovel Knight and got about a third of the way through the Messenger's trophy list. This week I want to finish the Messenger and complete the vanilla AOW campaign. I'll likely be playing Fireteams on the side and when Tales releases I'll of course be all over that. Outside of gaming, I've returned to work and have two interviews (2 different wards are offering me a senior nurse position, heh) but I hope to have plenty of play time. Have a great week!
