How do gifts work with the trophy for give all gifts?

So I've done all gifts in the first playthrough. But these don't count on the second (making it fully pointless to do any gifts at all in the first playthrough)? So do I have to wait until I've completed the second playthrough to do the gifts? I'm confused because in the first I couldn't give yuito his gifts and the second I can't give kasane hers.. Yeah rough reading but do you get my drift?

Both Yuito and Kasane have to give every character every possible gift, so yes you can't get this trophy until you're near the end of your second playthrough (on new game+), because both Yuito and Kasane have unique gifts to give to everyone else, and Yuito has to give all gifts to Kasane and vice versa. 

 

Giving people gifts is very worthwhile since that's what raises their bond level and enhances their SAS.  So if you have a gift to give a character do it, no matter the playthrough.
