The new trophy lists seem a lot more fun but now theres a lot of missables tied to missions. Also have to 100% SA now which when I did on PC took a very long time lol.

100% in san andreas is way worse. Canoli only took around 5 hrs active playtime in vice city. Old San Andreas platinum was around 20hrs, new one will probably be around 50 or even more. I don't midn tho, since i never got 100% in this game, not even on pc. Hope there is chapter select because it would be annoying to use manual saves for that.

Doubt they will include option to reapeat missions/chapters. I think we need to make a list of missions that have possible missable trophies, so we can make manual save before it.

But it would be nice to see some nice QoL.

good thing about the 100% completion is, that trophy hunters now get to play the RC missions and the heist missions as well, as they weren't necessary for the ps4 and ps3 platinum. The final heist mission was one of my san andreas favorites! Also i like the trophies for being stealthy. I think i imagined my own trophylist back in 2010 or something like that, way before the first san andreas got trophies and that included that as well

I remember playing this at age 11-12 (far too young, really...) and absolutely raging at the 3 RC missions, only to realise that - at the time - they weren't mandatory for story progression. I've completed San Andreas 5-7 times but I never went for pure 100% completion, so it'll be nice to go back and do that. 

 

I am usually adverse to 50+ hour completions, but San Andreas is absolutely an exception. Still to this day one of the greatest video games of all time. The graphics haven't aged that well but the open world design and immersion has seldom been beaten in 17 years since the game came out. A masterpiece. 

 

Playing on Xbox, hope the lists are split there so I can focus on the games in the order I want to complete them, rather than one massive list (its usually the latter, but occasionally isn't).

Yeah you are right. I still got the 100% back in the day on ps2 (did the monster stunts too) but the monster stunts was'nt needed for the 100%. Hopefully they don't change it because GTA SA had really a lot of monster stunts and some of them were really annoying.

There is a cheat code being added to enable snow I believe, which if thats across all games, 'snow' might mean something different in VC! ?

You missed one and used the wrong name for one trophy. "horror of santa monica" is for drowning in gta san andreas. The one for sneaking into the base of black project is called "they can't stop all of us"

Hopefully the new engine doesn't make the make the Take the Cannoli Godfather exploits not work anymore, that would suck so bad.

 

Also we have to 100% San Andreas now, so that includes Zero's missions? Oh boy

I think noone here has pointed out yet or I haven’t seen it. But spending 24 hours in countryside trophy on San Andreas might cause big problems. We don’t know whether waiting 24 hours in real life time is required or not. Or even maybe it would require waiting 24 hours nonstop. Also we don’t know where exactly we should stay in the countryside for that trophy. Red County, Mount Chilliad, other villages… They are all part of the countryside. It would be horrible if there is a certain point or a circle that we should stand on foot for unlocking that trophy. I hope Rockstar didn’t put all of their tryhard methods for this trophy like the godfather rating trophy in Vice City.

Zero missions are no big deal, i think the difficulty there was overrated af. I did them for both platinums, because i didn't know they weren't necessary at the time. I think GTA San Andreas is fine, but i'm worried about 3 and vice city. These would be very annoying if there aren't the same cheats as there were in the originals. blowing up 2000 cars without the exploding car glitch would be time consuming and a lot of missions would be pretty tough without health cheats.
