Hitman 2 to Hitman 3 transfer questions

I currently do not own H2 or H3 yet, but I want to prepare for the optimal way to make things as smooth as possible when I do own these games

 

So here are a few questions regarding the profile transfer

1. Can I play H3 and unlock things from this game, then import H2 at a later point without losing any H3 progress?
2. Will H3 update any time I've unlocked something new in H2 that I hadn't unlocked in H3 of H1 and/or H2 content or is the profile transfer a one time thing?

The profile transfer is a one time thing. If you play h3 and do some missions and then play h2 and do some stuff and you decide to transfer, all your h3 progress will be reset to as if you didn't play. In other words play h2 first if you'd like before h3 but I would just pick up the passes so you can play all the content together in h3. Hope this helps
