I’ll believe it when I see it, but if true, I’ll be first in line 🙂👍

This was decent when I played on 360.

My biggest question is if it will also include American Nightmare, but I'm all in either way.

Just saw OP's update. October 5th release? Guess we'll find out soon enough.

People are speculating that the remaster might be one of October's PS+ games.

There's no proof, just educated guesses but I could see it happening. PS5 version most likely.

Hoping it is true. It'd be nice if they add in ray tracing, but I'll be happy with just an upscale and 60 fps

Man this one surely is a masterpiece. Can't wait!

Quantum Break is also really good, but it's registered as a Microsoft IP so I doubt it will ever come to playstation. Still, I recommend everyone who has a PC/Xbox to try it out.

Top 5 game for me. I adore it with all my heart. Having said that, I'm beyond sick and tired of remasters and remakes. We've got gems like Alan Wake because at one point, publishers were willing to take risks.

Having said that, it's nice that Playstation-only players will finally be able to try it. Hopefully it will be popular enough that we'll finally get a sequel.

Beat it when it came out. I always assumed MS owned the IP.

Just publishing rights to the first game, much like Titanfall, Mass Effect, Sunset Overdrive and Dead Rising 3.

They relinquished the rights for this, probably because Quantum Break didn't do as well as they hoped. At one point it was rumored MS was gonna buy Remedy.

I thought Alan Wake was an Xbox exclusive. Why the change to multiplatform? Is it something to do with CONTROL?

It was, but I don't think it has anything to do with Control. Remedy Entertainment acquired the ownership of Alan Wake from Microsoft in 2019.

Definitely interested in trying this out after playing the AWE DLC for Control.

Well as far as legal rights go, no, but

Alan Wake and Control are set in a shared world, so they do have

something to do with each other
