Corner Mastery Trouble

I've been trying to get corner mastery on corner 1 of Ebisu South and yet every time I keep failing to get it to register. Is there a easier way to get this corner mastered, whether by taking a specific line or by using a specific car? I want to get the epic badge for all Japan tracks corners mastered but this one corner is preventing it from happening.

Forgot to mention which corner I was referring to

I used a standard Audi A3 to master every track. I changed zero settings and raced 2 laps (Time Attack) on every track which was usually enough to master the tracks. Offcourse there were a few exceptions like first corner in Spa and the Nordschleife.

 

I did notice that some corners are only accepted as mastered more to the inside or the outside of the line. Maybe this also goes for the Ebisu corner.
