Hvalpen
I was wondering wether the platinum relics in this game are more forgiving than in the other three? or is it equally hard? Or harder?
Kcrack_Km
Harder because the levels are so long IMO.
AgentSmiz
Definitely harder. They're also needed for the overall platinum trophy, unlike the N.Sane trilogy which only required gold. Not impossible but certainly the biggest challenge in the game.
RangyRV
Funny, because in the previous games I don't remember getting any platinum relics, now in this one I already got all of them. I'd say it is easier than the other games.
MrGarland
One of the reasons they're harder besides the strict time requirements, is that there's no Dash power-up. Removing that and replacing it with a Triple Spin was a bad idea. Once you learn the rhythm, it's not hard to master, but it's still a pain to the thumb. I think that an overwhelming majority of players will agree that Crash 4's platinum relics / no death runs are the reason why the platinum is so difficult compared to Crash 1-3 and CTR. Crash 4's levels are harder, longer, and require mastery of the triple spin (and sometimes, the slide-spin) technique, which requires further practice, dexterity and rhythm than any other Crash game before this.
RangyRV
You are probably right, but I think if you are good enough with triple spin timing, the platinum times can be more forgiving than the other games, theres no need to be completely flawless. But as you said, probably Im minority on this.
goroh16
Crash 4 platinum relics are definitely harder than the old Crash games. I didn't need a guide for them. Including Wrath of Cortex. Edited September 9, 2021 by goroh16
