Tower of the elephant method clarification 2021

Tower of the elephant was the last trophy I need for the platinum, I tried doing the method mentioned in the trophy guide and multiple videos but whenever I over-encumbered myself on my partner they wouldn't die. We couldn't even damage each other.

 

I found this more recent info about the trophy/achievement on TrueAchievements.
Essentially you want to:
-create your world on civilized difficulty
-invite your partner, jump on their head via rocks
-make yourself admin
-change the difficulty to barbaric
-then over-encumber yourself via the admin panel. 

 

My partner finally died, like he was intended to and trophy popped.

Thanks for this, it wouldn't work for me until I changed the difficulty to barbaric

Just a note on how we did it, the above helped:

 

- Barbaric difficulty

- PVP enabled (wasn't mentioned above this got us stuck for a minute)

- We used "Reinforced Stone Foundation" as the item as you need to be very over encumbered

- Hold L2 and max out stacks

- Jump on persons head as above. 

 

So annoying we had to do a 750mb update and both of us had to wait for it to copy the files for an hour to do this one trophy haha. What a game can't wait to get it off my HDD.

I was stuck with this trophy until i found this and it worked, got the trophy and platinum, thank you!

I hope this still works. 

I was trying the normal method but no use.
