Neophyte_87
Just noticed there's a plethora of booster, item and costume packs to buy on the store. I'm not exactly sure what the Battle BGM pack is, looks to be alternative music in battle? But the Growth Booster sounds like something that will help a lot given it doubles EXP, Combat Points and SP in battle plus 1000 SP to use for buying skills I think. Any suggestions on what is a must buy?

The game plays fine without the DLC so none of the DLC is a "must buy" unless you want to start with higher levels, more money, put a new outfit on the guys/girls or listen to Legacy BGM.
Lordguwa
i would input growth booster if they're not charging more than 5$ for it. i wouldn't go over that amount. Edited September 12, 2021 by kingdrake2
Infected Elite
Only costumes. If you REALLY want it. Everything else is basically if you wish to play god mode early on by which steamroll enemies. Its jrpg. There will be grind spots eventually. dont buy the dlc
Llujei
If you really want to get a boost, then get the 20% less CP cost or the cooking and crafting material cost reduction.
Popular Post Optinooby
A recommend if you plan to buy some or a recommendation to somebody who perhaps doesn't want to?? Because the latter would be as most have said here, just don't buy any!!! But for the former, it DEPENDS how you play as I see some saying they are not needed, BUT if you are going through it avoiding a lot of enemy encounters, then even on STORY, you can hit walls with bosses. Like I say, it's VERY dependant on how you play the game I don't like to judge how other approach game as everybody is different and plays games in a different manner so I'll just give some info, then you can decide yourself. If you go through the first 3 hours of the of the game without really battling enemies much, even on Story, the 1st boss will destroy you. There are 2 packs that fit anyone and can potentially save 20+hrs of your life, again depends how you play though. The Growth Booster pack, doubles ALL you XP and SP gains plus a bit more, and the Premium Travel Pack provides boosters that descrease prices and crafting requirements for weapons which will save a LOT of time. The level packs are not really great unless you get stuck and wanna move on quick as if you are too high a level, you get less XP so in the end, doesn't do much more than just gets you high level quick, in the long run, the game perhaps eventually levels to what you would be if you didn't buy. The level packs are good endgame really if you wanna get to 100 with everything else done. Ignore the money packs unless you just want money to buy somet quick. Costume packs obviously are just cosmetic which personally never really do much for me, but a lot of players like these. There are other packs I haven't looked into much but if u wanted to buy something and I was going to recommend, it would be the Growth and Travel packs. If you like to grind, kill every single enemy, the Growth/Travel packs or any others for that matter may not help that much, but if you don't, they will save 10s of hours perhaps. Maybe someone else has better info as I'm not very clued up with Tales games, but that's what I have observed so far Just some additional info, I got to the 1st boss on easiest difficulty at like level 5 or 6 (he is lvl15) and he would 1-2 shot me. I was doing 8 dmg per hit and his health is over 15000 lol. That's what I say, depends how you play Edited September 22, 2021 by Optinooby
