Mass Effect 4 Mentioned

Mass Effect 4 has been mentioned by BioWare's Aaryn Flynn on Twitter, and is apparently in a playable state.

"Great time playing the next Mass Effect game in Montreal,” he said, showing an off-screen photo of the BioWare logo.

“Ambitious. Beautiful. Fresh but recognizable. And fun."

I can't wait to see what is next for the series.

Not sure what to think about this after the whole Mass Effect 3 debacle. I have some hope, but I'm not going to get them up. *Glares at EA*

Yeah, I was a bigger fan of the first two. But they are using the same engine as the new Dragon Age and keep hinting at the fourth Mass Effect to be fresh and will overall be something new to the series as a whole. Anxious to see what they are plqnning, I hope it is more RPG based and will allow us to play as alien races.

I'm not gonna buy any bioware game on day one anymore.

I'll look into it in high detail and if I'm even a bit interested I'm gonna wait for a massive price drop before buying it.

I concur. I have high hopes for DA: Inquisition but I'm still skeptical after the mess that was DAII.

I cannot wait. Mass Effect is probably my favorite series of the 7th gen, and one of my favorite series of all time. I've played ME1 and ME2 twice each, and ME3 3 times. I will be revisiting ME1 and ME2 next year a third and final time to get the plats in each...like I did to ME3 in August.
