Anyone that remembers playing the PS2 Burnout games will find Danger Zone very familiar, based on the crash element of the original burnout games, you are tasked with causing as much chaos as possible while also collecting various bonuses lying around the course. There are also some "Smashbreaker" icons littered around the course making use of these at the right time is vital to getting the maximum score at each junction. Most junctions can be completed in a couple of attempts but as you get deeper into the game you do require more luck to beat the scores.

Luckily Nobody Was Hurt:

This trophy requires you do over 20,000,000$ worth of damage at a single junction, collecting all the bonuses Bronze, Silver and Gold will give you a grand slam bonus which gives your score a big boost, you can only get this value on certain junctions as there isn't enough vehicles until the later levels.

Wreck-Tacular:

This trophy requires you to wreck 100 cars at a single junction, there are only a few levels where the number of vehicles you can wreck will add up to 100, the below guide is for one level where it is possible to wreck 100 vehicles, this trophy will likely take a number of tries to complete as you have to hit the majority of cars and get smashbreaker at the right time.

Enjoy the videos and hopefully helps you unlock the trophies.

"Wreck-Tacular!" is the one that requires you to score 20,000,000 $ or more worth of damage. You're right, the levels that makes it easier are further into the game but it's also possible to do it in the first phase/tier.

"Luckily Nobody Was Hurt" requires destroying 100 or more vehicles in a single level. The term "junction" can mislead players into thinking that it has to be done in one place/crossing. ;)

Gotta say, Danger Zone wouldn't be so irritating if there was a way to freely move the camera (especially when you fall down), the physics/driving physics weren't so awkward and the cars driven by AI didn't act so randomly. The intro of every stage helps to navigate the cash pick-ups, though it goes from the end to the start and is still a little underdone. Too bad this game is so basic and poorly developed. I can see that you've completed the sequel. Is it better than this one?

PS You get the police car for achieving all platinums which is going to be used in every stage you play. I got all plats in the bonus levels before finally conquering the 3rd level from Phase 1, so I'm not sure they're also required for obtaining it. Not sure how to turn off the usage of it but it's a bad car nevertheless. :)
