Help with money farm

Hello, i'm the chapter 3(or 4  i don't remember) i'm doing the school club first but now the boxing club needs a great ammount of money to unlock skills , this early in the game there is some method to farm some money? the vr is always good like the last game or there is some other method? thanks in advance^^

VR long-stages give around 2-5 mil per run (if you finish first, you also take your rival bonuses) 

In Standard mode, you should still get a decent amount even if you lose (around 1-2 mil per run with long-stages).

You need Play-Pass to play the VR minigames though (I only started farming for cash from VR once I got the Free Pass)

Before I even ran into Paradise VR, I had on me 2.5m yen and I barely worked for it tbh. 

 

Currently on chapter 3. I just went to the gambling hall. There's a code you have to enter. I got the code after listening to a random conversation on the street in a playground where there's tiny little hill. It's that place where you fight Mr. Masochist from Yakuza 7. I think the pass was 7120? You can double check

 

At the gambling hall, played koi koi for ~20 mins and got a lot of points playing on the expert difficulty. I even got my completion item done. 

 

But as others suggested and if it's anything like the first game, paradise VR is probably the best option for end game

Can confirm that too. I not even a good koi koi Player but after 20 minutes i had 10k woodsticks after buying 1000. Just be sure to have a wager of 200 instead of 100 and you double the outcome.

True its possible to farm platinum plates like in like a dragon thanks for the advice

A good way to farm money early game is to use the drone to pickup materials. Follow this path in Kamurocho with a drone twice, different pyroxenes and eye of the dragon are almost guaranteed to spawn. Once you followed the path twice save and reload the game the material will spawn again. I did it for 20 minutes and got about 2 million yen. 

 

Mid to late game money farming method:

First unlock Lucky Gourmand Lv3/Auspicious Gourment/Bottomless Stomach

Eat at resturant that has a gift icon

Then head to Ijin Street. Enemy will keep spawning there. With the buff there is a chance of getting any cheat items if you defeat enemies. Use the cheat items to earn money.

to add to this, once bottomless stomach has been obtained, unlock lucky gourmand lv 3. Eat at a restaurant with 4 item box menu items (if it doesn't appear, eat one of the special items and go back to the restaurant menu until 4 item box menu items appear), then take a provocateur extract and fight enemies who will drop a variety of cheat items. This didn't work for me in Ijincho but after getting 4 item box bonuses from the hotel district Yoshinoya, I got 2 x trips yokan, 1 10-10-1 charm, 1 lucky hanafuda card, 1 blackjack amulet, 2 bust amulets, 2 royal joker cards and 1 basics of shogi and some plates/divine waters in one sitting. These can be used to make millions from the casino in chinatown or the gambling hall.

 

you can do the same with 4 yen symbols for lots of plates that can be sold at ebisu or benten pawn
