Your favorite gender in games?

Always men, unless I'm forced to play women. I always like to identify with my own gender.

Heavily depends on the game.

 

If it's purely aesthetic, it depends on my mood, or which character model I prefer. I don't usually find it any easier or harder to identify with a character based on their gender, so it's kind of a non-factor for me the majority of the time.

 

If there's some small differences, like how other characters respond to you based on your gender, or if there's different items/armour, endings, etc. I may look up to see the extent of it and base it on that, but for the most part, it depends on my mood again.

 

If there's actual gameplay differences like different stats and classes, I pick based on which gameplay style I prefer.

I usually play as a woman if I have a choice, but not always. I mean, as long as the game is good, it can be a one eyed pirate with three toes on their left foot that identifies as a giraffe.

I play as both in games, in skyrim I play as a male character more often than not. In fallout 3 and new vegas it's male characters but in fallout 4 I mainly play as female characters.

 

Oblivion is a even mix, pokemon i pick only female and in modern fire emblem games depends entirely on who I want to marry??.

A random one is sims, most of my sims are male, not sure how that happened.

 

In conclusion, i have absolutely no consistency.

Usually end up playing female characters
Although the one time I can think of that I didn't like the character design was The Division so I went with the male character instead.
