Performance issues on PS5?

Been going back through this to get the platinum on PS5 and I've noticed if the game runs for longer than 3 or 4 hours a horrific stutter starts that makes the game unplayable. Has anyone else had this issue? I don't remember this happening on PS4 when I first played it. There was the odd crash here and there but it ran perfectly other than that. This is really odd to me considering it's included on the PS Plus Collection on PS5.

Finished the game a few days ago without a single issue, and the gaming session was more than 4 hours long. If it happens only after that long period of time, restarting your console takes 2 minutes so it shouldn't be an issue.

Maybe it depends on whether you are playing the digital or disc version. I played digital and didn't have any problems.

 

I've had minor problems on my PS5 with digital Days Gone and Mass Effect Andromeda on CD - I solved them by just closing the game, if that doesn't work restart your PS5.

I also experience some stuttering (PS5). This seems limited to the very long chapter when all characters come together on the Jericho. I only experience this during replays. The initial run did not show any performance issues. Other chapters also the ones afterwards worked well.
