Does it work on 8.03?

Couldn't find anything online about it, so I thought I'll ask here. Just got a new PS4 (well a used one) on this particular software and wanted to borrow a copy of Village from my buddy, but yeah, the problem is that since I can't update the console now (my internet either works at a snail's pace or well doesn't at all) will I have any problems with playing it?

Tried asking my friend but he can't really tell me, since he have his console up to date.

I think the chance of finding someone else with old firmware AND has tried resident evil Village on it will be rare. No harm in just trying your friends copy

Yeah I guess that's true, but then again wouldn't want my friend to send me the game and then turns out I can't even play it. Would feel pretty bad if I would have to send it back the same day I receive it. Tho I already feel bad for borrowing games from him like that...

You should be good. Version 1.00 of the game requires FW 8.00, Patch 1.01 then bumps it up to FW 8.03.
