Popular Post Milktastrophe
I was having trouble surviving round 16 with the strategy on the TA guide because I was spending too much money rebuilding and not earning enough from not getting pick ups from inside the safe zone. Here's an easier way to get a million points and beat the reaper. Requirements: 3 controllers. You might be able to do it with 2. 4 might make this easier. Tape down on all non-primary controllers. Strategy: On the first night, have the other controllers join the game. Afterwards, buy enough chainsaws for every character. Go into a corner, boxing in one of the characters that isn't the primary controller. Position the players such that their chainsaw is facing outwards along the edge, the boxed in player pokes their chainsaw toward the middle between the other two. Play through night 14 or 15 with this set up. Don't build anything. Level up regen x2, then HP+ x1, then max out regen, then HP+ for the rest, same upgrades for each player. Because you're not building anything save up to buy 6 advance turrets as well as assault rifles for them. Only buys these if they're on sale. If you have to choose between them, buy the assault rifle asap because then you can start getting free ammo drops. During the waves, what you want to happen is for one of the big dogs to get in position to attack you. They'll block all the other zombies from reaching you and they attack slow enough that you're regen heals you faster than they can attack. When you have a dog blocking for you, you can either switch to pistol to attack the zombies behind it or move around with your primary controller to chainsaw them. If there are any of the really strong zombies, switching to pistol is a good idea to kill them for. It takes a while, but you're 100% safe. You'll want to move around slightly every so often to pick up the drops. Also be prepared to wiggle the non-primary outside player, sometimes the zombies will get in a position where that one isn't hitting them. It's ok if a player dies, they'll be revived for the next night. Also don't forget you can throw grenades with for emergencies. After night 14 or 15, you'll have more than enough money to switch to the safe zone strategy with all the best stuff and breeze through night 16. You can probably beat night 16 in the corner, but it'll go faster in the safe zone. For this safe zone, put your two non-primary players in one of the 8 squares around the light. Primary in another. Fill the remaining 6 with advance turrets with assault rifles. If the players are too cramped, they'll be pushed out of the safe zone, two per square works. Surround these with 2 layers of electro barriers. Surround those with as many landmines or propane barriers as possible (I found propane barriers to be better than landmines). Don't forget to buy a bunch of assault rifle ammo. If you're starting this strategy before night 16, don't spend all your money, so you can rebuild the defenses. Switch your players from using chainsaw to pistol. You don't really need to bother aiming the other two, the turrets will rip through everything. For me, they killed the reaper before it was even on screen. 6
