JaneAusten69
Hi! Just got the game and really enjoying it. I was wondering if you can save mid-run. Anytime I think to test this I'm already pretty far into things and don't want to risk losing my progress. Can I finish an encounter, quit game and then come back later and continue on the next encounter? Sorry for the noobish question.
Montyzu
Yes you can. You need to pause the game and choose "exit", when the game is back at the main menu you can close it or turn off the console. If you just close it mid run it WONT save.
NMErickson
^^That and I also don’t think you can save/exit at a boss encounter. Edit: The bosses at the end of each of the biomes. Edited October 28, 2021 by NMErickson
NathanielJohn
Also, if memory serves you have to save/quit at the *start* of a room (you can't save/quit after taking damage in room, as it would then be too easy to save scum).
Akrioz
Well, that's a actually easy to know. If quit is greyed out in the menu - you can't save. If it is available, it is safe to quit.
JaneAusten69
Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the quick feedback. Glad to know that you can save mid-run. Takes the pressure off trying to squeeze in one last run before you have to leave to do something else.
