Does assist count for the 10 knockout without dying?

Well, does it? I read it at least used to. But I'm not sure wether this still goes for the ps5 version, with updates and all that.

Yep! Anytime you need to get the final hit on someone, we’ll specify KO Finisher. Unless it says that, both assists and finishers will count.

Your answer confuses me  a bit. But i assume that anytime it says i assisted someone it will count towards the streak

@Hvalpen assists count. That was the easiest way for me to get it. Run around passing balls to team-mates making sure they always have a ball in hand. It also allows you to stay back a bit and out of the line of fire.

Seems to be as long as they throw it when it is still buffed from the pass.
