What starts as just another clicker turns into a grand tale of revenge when, at 10,000 clicks, with Mayo's mother congratulating the win, she is picked up and unceremoniously dumped on a subpar potato salad. Act 1 ends on a tart but creamy note. The game morphs into an RPG with rhythm-based clicker battles, deciding when to click on an enemy vs click on yourself to defend. All the outfits seen in Mayo 1 and 2 become unlockable outfits to add stats to our hero. Finally finding the five-fingered villain at the end of act 2, Mayo loses a scripted battle, is broken and left to spill away into the gutter... only to be saved by a precocious bottle called Vinegar. Vinegar teaches Mayo the power of friendship, of a prophecy being foretold, the great saucening of condiments, five heroes who could immobilise each digit of the five-fingered villain with the power of friendship. Mayo travels the world finding these heroes, though each requires help before they can join, such as Gravy, who is racially discriminated in a predominantly Mayo-centric world, and Ketchup, a red-headed (bodied and feeted) individual who keeps getting harassed at work, smacked on the bottom every lunchtime when her workmates go for fish and chips. Before the final battle, the long-simmering love between Mayo and Vinegar bubbles over. Even with their fierce incompatibility they need to be together, swearing to invent their own dish if that's what it took. I love a good, creative, light-hearted “troll” game (regardless of difficulty). Kind of like I occasionally love games that are so bad they come back around to being good, lol. That being said, I haven’t even bought the first Mayo yet, I’m clearly behind on the story. ? ETA: @Nauticus87, I like the way you think. I kind of want that to be a thing now, it would be hilarious in multiple ways. ? Also, @NERVergoproxy, your wish has been granted-Mayo 2 is currently on sale!
