Game is still crashing at Mortis

Had to start another 30+ hour play through bc of a currpted save file at mortis, only to get stuck again in the same spot every damn time. Screaming attack after round 6 or 7 bring her health from 20% to like 35 then freezes…this is so frustrating.

I contacted the developer, they got back to me with "it is a known issue and we are working on it". However, you can bypass this glitch. Respec your team to be high damage (stealthed Ori and vampires are good), get Mortis down to about 30% health and then skip all units turns. You will essentially get 2 turns now to beat her. If so then you can continue the game, as long as she doesnt get a turn to cast the spell that freezes the game. However, the true final boss at the end of the Liberation NG+ playthrough is still glitched and unpassable until patched.

There was a patch today who fixed the problem.

I just beat Mortis in a normal fight, without tricks. The spell where it usually froze was cast without problems.
