RadiantFlamberge Posted March 6 Author Share Posted March 6 Card Sharks theme (Bob Eubanks & Bill Rafferty versions) With all due respect to Jim Perry, the 2019-20 ABC version should've used this intro music instead of the original's. Love the slap bass and synth on this one. It comes in strong with the opening drum hits. Bob Eubanks' CS is faster paced than the Joel McHale one. I've seen it on Buzzr and GSN. There is less idle chit-chat, and more game play in 30 minutes than ABC put into 60. I'm sure they wanted to drag it out for a dramatic effect on the 2019 CS, but that actually backfires. Spontaneity beats artificial suspense for me. "Your base card is a 5. Would you like to change it?" "I'll stick with the 5. Higher Bob!" "Higher than a 5... You've got a Jack!" "Lower Bob!"
