Kind of bummed no platinum, but never got to play these the first go around, so I'll give em a shot eventually.

Although I had these games on Xbox to begin with, so it was more likely to be there anyway.  Just now at a big discount.  Too much to play and I am upset at the lazy Achievement/Trophy list.

Glad I don't share the same sentiment as most people here, trophies to me are just extra stuff to collect and not a make or break, to each their own but regardless of trophies I'll buy this never got the chance to play it back in the day.

Very disappointing trophy list. Shame on the developers here, this is laziness. If they can’t put effort into making a decent list, I won’t be putting effort into buying it til it’s on sale.

Is there a reason developers/publishers choose not to give a game a platinum? Considering that the two minute shovelware games get them so easily, you'd think it'd be given automatically to every newly released game. I don't understand why they would choose to not add a platinum if they were given the choice, especially when it can only help in sales. I still plan on buying them for nostalgia's sake, but I'm really disappointed there's no platinums for either of them.

Clearly there is a reason, but without asking them, every single reason anyone gives is just as valid as any other. 
 

It’s possible they just don’t care about trophies and did the bare minimum because they had to. It’s more effort and time to add more trophies. Maybe the minuscule possible increase in sales didn’t warrant the extra work.

Yeah, but 12 golds is enough for a plat and these games are 13 trophies so…..

 

I believe it might cost more to have the game have a plat.

 

In all likelihood, the devs just really don’t give a shit about the trophies

I'll be buying these tomorrow, don't really care that they don't have platinums, I loved these games ages ago and sure i'll love them again now.

I wouldn't be surprised if adding a Plat cost more. There have been reports of Sony charging fees for ridiculous things.

 

The main version was done by Terminal Reality on PC (Terminal Cut versions on Steam) and does not have achievements. Console version by Big Boat Interactive, so they added some. Some is better than none.

 

Looking forward to it either way, missed it on PS2.

Ahhh.. I was in love with this game when I was a kid. I'm so excited to play it again on Playstation. Sure it would be a bit better if it had 50 trophies and platinum, but even without I'm gonna get it. I hope this remaster have better quality than gta de?

Man, I loved these games back in the day. Kinda sad there's no platinum but it is what it is, will be nice to replay them. Will probably wait for a sale though.

Like what you've all discussed previously, there must be a reason why they haven't given them any platinum trophies but what makes me unimpressed is that the Xbox have got 1000G which makes it more disappointing in my opinion.

So except for the difficulty level trophies do you get all of the trophies by just beating the game?

I like having 100%s in my trophy list even if they dont have platinums and i never played these games back in the ps2 days so i want them.

I'd read something on another message board that some of the cheats do work, but it's not the important ones like god mode or infinite ammo. Mainly cosmetic stuff like show weapons and jiggly effects. Think I'll pass on these games for now, back in the day I beat them legit so in all honesty I feel I shouldn't be blocked from the best options in the cheat menu.
