Overall a good year for me as I enjoyed pretty much everything I managed to finish so here's hoping I can keep that streak going. A few of my most anticipated games got pushed to next year so there was some quieter months but still there was a handful of great new releases that made up for it. Also managed to finish some tougher games and even one that I thought I'd never see completed so next year its safe to say I'll push myself even more ???.

 

One thing I told myself is that I'll try to finish newly purchased games right after buying em to better maintain my backlog for this console generation and so far I've been doing just that.

Hitman 2 and it's Additional Expansions 12/21+12/22 respectively. 

 

Bested my platinum total from last year by a couple and that was my number one year for platinums. Might get one more as I am vacation till next year but Yakuza: Like a Dragon seems pretty sizable. Side note I successfully completed my goal of earning at least one platinum per month, I have come close to this in the past accidentally and decided to actively go for it this year. Next year I expect to have fewer platinums as there are several  RPG'S  in my backlog I want to get to and they usually take a solid month or so with work, family, and life in general.

Hello friends! 2021 was my best year ever in terms of Platinum Trophies (and Ultra Rare Plats, at that). A year of great change, I went from having to work with 'just' a PS3 and Vita to being one of the lucky few to get their hands on a PS5 quite early on. You can see this reflected in my line-up of games across the year as the Vita and PS3 Plats dried up in favour of PS4 and PS5 titles. All in all I unlocked 32 Platinum Trophies to take me from 76 to 108, with the following distribution across the twelve months of 2021;

32 Plats in one year is a record for me, with the previous best being 22 in 2020. Six Ultra Rare Plats make for another record, with the previous best being five in 2020. 127 times 12 Trophies = 1524 Trophies in total, which is also another record with the previous best being 964 in 2020. I doubt I'll break any of these ever again, but I'd like to think I can be proud enough already of what I've achieved.

 

It was also a very, very, very flat year when looking at my Statistics;

 

 

That's sixteen months in a row where I got 127 Trophies per month. It has been quite stressful, so I'm trying to convince myself to not continue it in 2022 ?

5. GTA IV - 100% was incredibly annoying, pigeons, plus AWP plus Gold Star in BOGT sucked

7. Max Payne 3 - NYMHC almost broke me, it took me so many tries to do it, like i'm talking 20-30 tries. I got to the last chapter 3 separate times and died to the final boss twice

Favorite of that bunch would either be Psychonauts 2 or Celeste. I kinda wanna give the edge to Celeste. Sure, I cheesed it at some point (I think I was in a hurry to go somewhere more than frustrated with the difficulty), but I was having a great time when I was playing naturally.
