2021 was a fun year as I decided to get more involved with some events here on the site. The Fall/Winter Backlog Challenge 2021, The Trophies to Fight Cancer charity event, and Ultra Rare Cleanup were the main ones and made it a lot of fun to hunt for trophies this year.
 

Thank you to all the other participants who kept me motivated and inspired this year! I plan to get involved in some more events this year. ?
 

I managed 62 platinum trophies altogether, which is about exactly my average since I started trophy hunting. I might bring that total up to 63 if I manage to finish LEGO DC Supervillains on time lol.

I also played a healthy amount of other games on PC/Switch and maybe 1-2 PS-games I'd like to have in there, but didn't have the time and energy to plat (such as Danganronpa V3). Might not seem like a lot, but it is honestly more than I expected to have and a few had been abandoned for a year so my backlog is thankful. A few regrets are not having a single PS3/Vita plat, though I earned some misc PS3 trophies anyway and not getting around to playing one of the Idolm@ster games I bought for PS4 just yet, but that hopefully means more fun times for 2022.

This is by far my most productive year in terms of Plats, 2019 was my previous with 36. But it's because I was testing something. As you can see I played at least 2 EZPZ's almost every single month....without them there I'd have maybe 21 Plats up to now, which is fine...but there's just no way I could get anywhere near this amount, anywhere near topping myself again without padding out my list. I have a few more EZPZ's to play, and I'll be playing more before the year is up and buying more later...but I doubt whatever I end this year with, I'll ever see again. I think I'll pad it out to 50 and just make 2021 the most productive year. Next year will be more focused on what I like. 

Well I managed my 50 Plats for the year. Unfortunately my last Plat couldn't be something more exciting. I am working on Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep One-Shot, but there's no way I'll Plat it by the end of the day. I don't have much left to do, but it's enough that it'll take longer that the time I have. So knocked out one last EZPZ to round it off.

Not quite as good as my personal best of 35 from last year, but still a decent effort for me. Pretty happy with the mix of easy but good games, a few trashplats and some genuinely decent platinums (Ace Combat 7, Anthem, Black Flag, Homefront, Nine Parchments, Persona 5 and Valkyria Chronicles).

It's also the first year for me where I didn't earn a single platinum on PS3 or Vita. I did earn a few 100%'s and cleaned up some DLC on PS3, but no plats and not a single trophy at all on Vita all year.

I played some really good games (13 Sentinels, Trails of Cold Steel, Mundaun) and some that were utter trash (A Knight´s Quest, Through the Woods). All in all I had fun with most of the games I played and got 67 new platinums out of it so it was a good year for me.

I was kept busy by quite a few server closures in 2021 which really highlighted my lingering ps3 backlog. Only managed 3 plats this year again, same as the last couple of years, but 2 of these were quite time consuming. I worked on a bit of dlc as well, finishing Bioshock 2 to 100%.
