Just do some more kills and the trophy should pop. i had the same problem with the vehicle trophy before the patch came.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Getting some more kills didn't do anything, BUT closing down the game, restarting and then joining a match somehow triggered the trophy check again and it popped.

Use Rao specialist, prox sensor and avoid m5. I think they nerfed prox sensor range and time it lasts in December 9th update. If you’re doing it with latv4 (not sure with other vehicles) you can throw your ammo crate as the passenger. Make sure to switch as driver. You don’t want teammates to steal your vehicle. For weapons there is limited time mode Rush. Its basically tdm on smaller maps and for me I get a lot more kills in less time than in breakthrough.

You can't progress past T3 mastery in AI matches. This is normal.

It seems that not all assists count for T1 progression for a vehicle. Did anybody else notice it?

A small tip to progress on three T1 at once : Take Rao, Soflam, and call a jeep. You can have the P1 in few days of grinding with this method and it's super efficient.

 

IMO, Rao is completely useless, except for getting the P1 trophy

It did few days ago, so I'd say yes. Also play the breakthrough mode ofc

 

The ideal spots are the ones where you are behind your team and can support them. 

 

The two best for me are (and you should focus on them imo):

- Breakaway : especially the D building if you go to the last stage of the breakthrough. You can spawn right in front of it with a good distance if you attack or behind (there are even penguins here) if you defend. 

- Renewal : Also similar to Breakaway, preferably as an offender. For the C and the D phase, go to the top of the spawn building (the roof with snipers :p) and soflam all of them. It works much better for the D phase but I did 200 assists in one game with that method. 

- Discarded : it exactly works like breakaway at the last stage behind the map if you defend, or on the big boat if you attack. 

 

Another good option : 

Hourglass : focus only on the beginning of the breakthrough, A and B, ideally you attack. For A, you can go to the right of the map and soflam a lot of enemies, as this phase is quite chaotic. For B, go to the bridge with the highway. and Soflam around B1. 

 

Less efficient options imo:

Orbital, not a great map for that honestly : the only place where it works well is the biggest building in the middle of the map, it also works better as an offender once you control it. 

Kaleidoscope, I hate this map, but you can use a parachute to go on the top of the big sphere building in the middle of the map. But helicopters can shoot you pretty easily. 

Manifest, you can climb the hills but a lot of trees prevent to see the battlefield. worst method.

I genuinely do not understand how to SOFLAM works, there are times I'm staring directly at swarms of the enemy team and it refuses to tag any of them. Seems like if you're too close or far it fails to work... which makes zero sense.  But then other times it works flawlessly, I'm so confused. 😐

Same Here. Sometimes it marks literally everything and sometimes it just seems not to work.

This last trophy pisses me off 🥴 Sometimes my teammates steeling the car and drive right into the enemy, just to get blastet or they are driving the car off the Cliff.

Managed to get 666 yesterday (boosted till 480 with Bots)

This sounds strange, but I think SOFLAM in the LATV4 recon only works in passenger when there is someone else in the car. Just had a match on Hourglass and I got 64 assists when I had a driver.

My LATV4 count has gone up when I'm alone in the vehicle. Someone on another site said it's a small window for it to count, the players you tag have to die in the next few seconds.

Gotcha, i’ve seen that a lot of times I try to SOFLMA as passenger I don’t spot anything besides vehicles (on-foot enemies don’t get marked). But last few games its been fine…strange glitch.0

Spotting is not count to vehicle kills !!!

U need to spot enemies, also they have to been killed by ur team before the “red point” on the enemies’ head are gone. Then, that will count to vehicle kills

 

 My SOFLMA goes from 0 to 4000 now, but still need 300 kills for that trophy.

It's sometimes related to the position of the car, make sure you look ahead, don't look at the sides of the car when you are using the soflam  

Also, yes there is a small window, so you should ideally spot an area, with both allies and ennemies...

are you guys talking about the portable soflam, or the one on the vehicles? the t1 vehicle badge is taking FOREVER. it sucks because i basically have to spam the tank, hang in the back and shoot from far away. this does nothing for my team or the enjoyment of other players which means players will stop playing the game and it will die faster. im lost when it comes to the soflam as well, first i thought it was only for vehicles and now it seems its for vehicles and people. but it seems to just work whenever it feels like it. i dont know if im suppose to mash the button or hold it if that even matters.

If anybody still needs to farm T1 badges for weapons, gadgets or specialists, now is the time!

The featured Zombie Survival mode in Portal counts towards progress for the badges and is perfect for farming with dozens upon dozens of zombies on the map. 
Just got 200 spots and assists with the Prox Sensor in one 5 minute match. Weapons and specialists count as well.
