Rough beginning

Hello,

 

First time I'm playing Souls-like genre.

 

I cannot complete first area, also my sword is broken and other swords I have are swinging weirdly. I think I cannot repair my first sword, because I don't have any currency and smith available.

 

Do you have any advice for me?

Jokes asides, at the begining any weapon you can find from the scenario or a enemy drop is enough to pass the first level. Just patience, hold your shield and when an enemy finish his attack counter attack.

 

Read info online on how to create builds early on and don't worry the first souls is always the hardest.

Definitely check through the PS3 section of the forums for a decade worth of advice. Loads of resources available across all 3 regions (NA/EU/AS).

 

Once you've gotten a handle on starting class and leveling, the best tool to use is demonssouls.wikidot.com (minus new additions to the PS5 version)
