I tried that all dif ways on both na and eu. It never worked. Im sorry i was frustrated after 100 tries when i wrote the last comment. I tried ince again today and figured it out. You hold the square button down at the start menu and press x to play.  It will load you into permanent level 1 speed so you will have no issues catching 50. Thank you for your Pointer and without it I'd of probably never finished this.
