RDR2 vs GTA V platinum trophy

So a few months back I finally finished the GTA V platinum after putting it off for years cause of the online which honestly in the end wasn't that bad, although I did start playing with friends to do the heists probably would have taken a lot longer and been more tedious without them

The singleplayer was also more time consuming than difficult, accept for that god damn bridge near the casino that seemed impossible to fly under, even going back for gold medals wasn't that bad and tracking every on the rockstar social club made it a breeze to know what I had left to do

Which brings me to my question, which game do people consider the harder platinum from personal experience?

Is there anything in RDR2 that is incredibly hard or is it all just time consuming, I can imagine studying and skinning everything will take a long time but can't see how it would be difficult

The gold medals for missions in rdr2 was pretty brutal, I remember wanting to pull my hair out for those, replayed this one mission on guarma like 10 times because I just couldn’t get the time constraint in time. Mission replay only gave you stock health, stock horse, and guns which made most missions much harder than they should have been. I’ve seen somewhere that they patched this to be able to use your current inventory for replay but I’m not 100 percent sure for that. Also the RNG for the gambler challenges are a bitch as well, not hard just luck of the draw.

Can't speak for GTAV as I've only played it on PC.

RDR2 is just a massive time sink and I would rate it 4 maybe 5/10 at most. The gold medals was patched when I got the platinum as you can now use the best guns and stuff you've collected.

Just enjoy the story get all the best stuff and when you replay chapters for the gold medals it will be a breeze till ~60-65. The last 5 was looking for the easiest ones but nothing too bad.

The skinning and study is horrible and will take a long time.

Also the squirell trophy can't recall the correct name took me 2 days.

The 10 challenges you need to do for each bracket (Gambling, herbalism etc) isn't too bad either. Make sure to take a look at the autoclicker (X spam) in remote play to get the blackjack challenge. You'll know what I mean when you get there.

Online was just a week of boring grinding for myself. I just used an interactive map and kept repeat collecting the collectables in multiplayer to reach level 50. All other trophies shouldn't be a problem.

I have both GTA V platinums and RDR2 plat.

Definitely the most difficult part was the Gold Medals and challenges. I did all the Gold Medals in under a week and all the challenges in a couple days, and it was quite tough. Unlock GTA V, you have to complete ALL the Gold Medal requirements in one go. Quite hard.

Other than that, its just time sink and planning. Good luck!
