For that matter the personalize all 12 Characters trophy should've also been tagged as Online. Because it most certainly is not unmissable. If you keep progressing and the crates don't give you a gear item for 1-2 of the characters and you don't buy them yourself either before shutdown you get stuck with 1-2 characters who you cannot customise with anything...... I am stuck with 1 character who didn't get a single item and now I can't buy any either making that trophy also unobtainable.

 

It pisses me off just thinking about it. Getting all those stars and then getting fucked over when I was so close.

It's another case of devs being dicks by adding hidden online requirements to trophies that no-one in a million years would suspect as requiring you to be online to get them.

But does anyone know why Minecraft's minigame trophies are marked as unobtainable? Last I checked the "editions" version of the game is still playable, and you can play the minigames. Perhaps this changed for some reason?

seems like everything is obtainable :hmm:

It's because they're unobtainable for anyone who bought the game after a certain point so has to mess around with various exploits and tricks to get them working if they're one of the unlucky crowd who got screwed over by the devs when that happened. To be honest though, that entry may get deleted since @HusKy isn't doing exceptions any more.

I don't think it is one. 

You have to downgrade and other downgrade-needing games are valid.

It's case of new patch breaking trophies but devs intended it

So you can only get the trophies if you owned Minecraft prior to the Bedrock swap? That really sucks. They should've just changed the trophies, tied them to the new server system they have.... Oh well.

Correct :(. The devs came out about it a couple of years ago and admitted they gimped the game on purpose but had no intention of ever reverting the change.
