Like the title says how many of the 2021 ps+ games did you try out. Here is my list,

 

1 Maneater - Platinumed it.

2 Greedfall - Tried it, not for me.

3 Concrete Genie - Platinumed it

4 Control - Platinumed it.

5 Destruction allstars - This game sucks.

6 Maquette - Platinumed it.

7 Wreckfest - Platinmued it.

8 Tennis World Tour 2 - Platinumed it.

9 Overcooked : All you can eat - Platinumed it.

10 PGA 2k21 - Platinumed it.

Knockout City (not sure if this should be here or liked. It’s like 50/50 but right now it’s deleted on ps5)

Overcooked II

Tennis game- this game was the game that I was playing when my ps5 died. So I sort of hate it now for the wrong reason lol.

A Plague Tale- not my kind of game but can appreciate it!

1) Concrete Genie - plat and liked it more than I thought I would

2) Control - Plat and liked

3) FFVII remake - had before ps plus.  Loved it the 1st time, except the ass ending.  Now I'm beyond hating it.  So much filler, linear gameplay, and unskippable dialogues.  It's really a chore now to plat it.  I know many may disagree, but I think this is one of the most overrated games of all time.

4) Days Gone - had before ps plus.  Plat and loved it.  One of my favorite games.

5) VF 5 - liked it and completed.  Like the game since VF I on Sega Saturn.

6) WWE 2K Battleground - Awful.  Really awful, but still completed.

7) MK X - plat and liked it. 

8) PGA 2K 21 - plat and liked it.

 

Plan on playing most of the titles except the multiplayer focused stuff.

PGA Tour 2K21 - im LOVING it. So chill and zen. This is a game where i can just slow down and relax. im gonna plat this.

plan to get my VR set up in january and get Vita titles unlocked. 

 

VR just a pain to setup. had to dismantle it after a move a few years ago.

I knew it’s been a while so I checked that list and I couldn’t believe it. I downloaded and played 0. A new record for me. Had already owned 7 titles. Kinda surprised but I don’t subscribe to Plus for the free games so it’s alright.

I played 7 out of 40 titles. I intend to play about 10 more of the titles, so 17/40. If we remove the VR games I am at 17/36, just below a 50% play rate. Which in my opinion is really good. Plus I was able to play loads of games I previously collected into my PS+ library over the year, so the value was there for me.

Already had platinum: PvZ: BFN, Overcooked All You Can Eat

 

The Good: My favorite game all year was Plague Tale.  I also think PvZ and Overcooked are absolutely amazing games and I'm glad more people got to try them.  Will definitely be picking up a sequel for any of these three without question.  Maneater was a great surprise as well.

 

The Bad: Maquette needed 2-3 more levels and... ummm... a completely different story or ending... and it would've been great.  Concrete Genie was actually unplayable and I felt pretty negative towards Control by the end.  Personally do not understand any of the praise or awards that game received.

January - Nope, but i do plan on platting Maneater (PS5) sometime when i get a PS5

February - personally my favorite month of the year, i played both games (Control & Concrete Genie) I platted Concrete Genie and have yet to plat Control, I kinda wanna play Destruction All-Stars, but it looks like most people dont like it which sucks

March - nah, but this marked the first time I had a game that now became a PS+ game and that was Final Fantasy VII Remake

April - Nope

May - Nope

June - Nah, I would've platted Operation Tango if (once again) I had a PS5

July - I played WWE 2K Battlegrounds and it was fine... 

August - Nah, I debated on Playing Tennis World Tour 2, but i ended up not playing it

September - Nope

October - I once again debated on Playing PGA Tour 2K21 and thought about going for that plat, but not right now, maybe some other time

November - I love KO City, i played the Beta and bought it the day it came out, i fricking loved it, then i stopped playing it all summer, then a friend of mine got it through PS+ and he played the beta with me, so we're like gods in that game, super underrated game, you should check it out

December - Nope, might try out LEGO DC Super-Villains

 

overall, decent year 6/10

January - I played a bit of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, will return to it since I enjoyed the 1st 2 in this trilogy.

 

February - I got the plat in both Control and Concrete Genie. 

 

March - tried out FF VII R and Remnant, will return to both.

 

April - tried Zombie Army 4: Dead War, meh, not for me.

 

September - played Hitman 2, completed the levels multiple times, fun game.

Im pretty sure the only games I played were Concrete Genie and Destruction All Stars. DAS had potential but didnt give the player much of an incentive to play imo. I liked Concrete Genie but I didn't get around to platting it.
