Some random hacker boosted my RP to 180+

So I logged in today to do some random stuff before the servers shut down and all of a sudden all my stats maxed out and my RP shot up to 180 something, my guess is that it was someone waring a policeman skin, I unloaded a full clip on him and his HP didn't move

Better hide it before CRT finds this and flags you if it did anything to your trophies, already been hundreds of people in your situation and such and there's no way to fix the game. If it didn't do anything to your trophies then it doesn't matter because the entire thing is dying soon

if you haven't unlocked any trophies then you are safe about psnp. if you unlocked level trophies sequentially then there could be problems.

and beware of RLTW, it's not worth the headache.

CRT? in any case it popped all my rank trophies at once.

I barely played the online part and was rank 20 and got shot up to 180+

Why did you sync your trophies? I've never understood why people who get trophies this way sync the trophies and then come one here like oh no.

if you synced the trophies, its over. if not synced yet, delete your console user and you will be free of a flag.

I never said "oh no" I was mostly bemused by the whole thing, only thing that concerns me is having trouble with PSN but considering what my boosting team told me, Sony won't care unless they catch you asking for cheats which I didn't.

If I get flagged here, or even banned so be it, I am not going to lose sleep over it, only thing that concerns me is PSN

 I forgot to mention that I do not feel like hiding all the stuff I've done legit (I assume you are talking about hiding my entire game) just because of some random hacker popping me 3 trophies on something I did not even cared to begin with.
I never cared to get as many trophies as I could on this before the shutdown (I'd much rather try to get those on the PS4 version) but I was helping a friend with his heists because he does want to get as many trophies as he can.

There's also the fact that people should not have to jump through all sorts of hoops over an issue that is entirely manufactured by the owner and CRT of this site.  (Not that they created the issues plaguing GTA, but they are literally the only site that I know of that are going so far out of their way to punish legitimate players for an issue completely out of their control.)

Personally I think the leaderboards on this site are broken anyway, you cant really 'compete' unless you're scumming one way or another.

I wouldn't know what to do to do this - I understand it in theory, but I would need to look up a step-by-step guide to actually be confident in doing it. 

 

There are plenty of people out there like me who have one profile, have had it for years, and have never fucked with any kind of deleting / recreating / multi-profile stuff, and would be just as liable to fuck something up in the process than actually achieve the intended result.

 

In the end, I've never bothered to figure that stuff out, as I just adhere to the "unofficial PSNP rule":

Just do not play any Rockstar game or any Call of Duty game online, unless you are willing to be 'flagged' for reasons that have nothing to do with your own actions.

I wouldn't go that far.   The leaderboards themselves aren't broken.  For the most part, they're measuring what they were designed to be measuring.    It's not really the site's fault that Sony decided to allow an endless stream of shovelware that happens to allow platinum hunters to buy their way to the top of boards like this, and attempting to "fix" the problem by filtering out all the chaff would cause even more controversy, as people would bitch if their favorite indie games got caught up in the mess.

You're making a number of assumptions.  This would imply that

• The affected player even knows this is an option.  PS4 and PS5 trophies auto-sync, and some may assume that PS3 does as well.
• The affected player even knows there is an issue with the affected trophies (There are several between this and COD.  Not sure if there are any others that would fall in this category).  Not everybody, including trophy hunters, knows that there is even an issue with trophies in some games.  Especially games that are nearly a decade old where the issue itself is nearly 5 years old.  
• The affected player even knows this particular trophy is illegitimate.  From their point of view, they got a bounty on their head, survived for 48 minutes, and the trophy popped.  There is no reason for a player to even know the trophy was illegitimate in the first place.  
• The affected player even cares at the time it happened.  If they don't know that there would even be an issue (because why would they?), they very well may not even realize there's an issue at all until it's too late.  Again, not everybody diligently keeps up on the trophy hunting scene or diligently researches decade old games in search of obscure problems that only this site seems to give a shit about.  

Some people have lives, you know.

If you have an account and regularly post on a website dedicated to trophy tracking/hunting the "well I didn't know" excuse pretty quickly falls apart.  No one in this community is a casual player lol.  You're also kinda bad faith arguing as you have both a recent RLTW and hacked level trophies in this game.

Well I don't take this half as serious as most people here, some people just gave up, others grab a platinum here and there others follow the forums  because the community is pretty helpful in a myriad of ways, so saying everyone is here because they are hardcore is a bit overboard, it's perfectly normal for many people not to know every single aspect.

Good to know that you're the gatekeeper and spokesman for the entire community.  Apparently, the dozens of casual trophy hunters that I've met on this site over the years were just figments of my imagination.   I guess you know the status of every single one of the thousands of games and tens of thousands of trophies that are out there, right?  

"No one in this community is a casual player lol."   That's rich.  I hate to tell you, but the "casual players" greatly outnumber the hardcore trophy hunters.  And it isn't even close.   You are not the measuring stick for the entire community.  Your motives for being here are likely very different than many players.   There are plenty of people who are here looking for walkthroughs, or just looking for some friends to play co-op.  They may or may not care about the leaderboards, but I highly doubt they'd be all that pleased with their profile having a label slapped on it that implies that they cheated for reasons they may or may not even know.  

 

And since you seem to have taken the time to check my profile, you should have also taken the time to check my post history, where you'd see that my position on the subject was documented *years* before I was directly affected and hasn't changed.  Maybe you should check things like that before slinging wild, unfounded, baseless accusations over my motives.   You'd then also know that I absolutely refuse to stop playing games I paid for in a legitimate way just out of some fear of hacked lobbies.   I consider RLTW completely legitimate; I spent an hour surviving the bounty and meeting the trophy requirements.  The fact that other players are playing on CFW that allows them to give bounties is completely irrelevant.    The fact that i got dropped into a lobby where a player was auto-ranking everybody wasn't my fault, and while that may sound like a go-to excuse given by most cheaters, anyone who has spent more than about 3 seconds online in GTA knows that the chances of this happening in this case are high.   Literally every other hunting site out there has acknowledged this, and I know of no other site that takes action against players for hacked trophies in GTA or BO2 because of this.   I have never shied away from the fact that I will continue to participate in this community until the day I am personally flagged as being a "cheater", at which time I will ask that my profile be de-listed from this site.  I refuse to hide trophies in a game that I legitimately earned, and I will leave a site before being publicly branded as a 'cheater' due to the actions of others.   Your accusations are offensive, especially when they're based on cherry-picked information from someone who couldn't be bothered to check to see if they're even valid.
