Hello guys! Hope your trophy hunting is going better… better then me for sure (damn ww2 darkest shore)…? btw I had to finish my list and here we are. I add 3 last games and made some swaps, mostly because all were too much timing consuming and in 1 case because I can’t play another game of this genre (hack and slash).  Sooo… this is my official list!

I kinda forgot to hunt for the games I listed ?, be it either because I don't feel like playing the games I chose or because other games took priority on the backlog.

 

With that, I'm planning to use those unlimited swaps to whenever I start a new game with an UR trophy, I get to update the list. Maybe I will actually finish more games with that idea in mind (while I do still want to finish Absolver and Jump Force from the current list).

 

And now, I will use a swap to switch Laser Disco Defenders with Super Bomberman R Online. I will also be switching Iconoclasts with Friday the 13th, which I'm slowly working my way through.

mw3 is done . The plat wasn't that bad. The story on vet was pretty easy didn't have any problems there. Spec ops mode, doing the missions was pretty fun did most of them solo without too much trouble. I found spec ops survival extremely boring solo. Very easy ur and 100% overall.

Tera is a f2p MMORPG, I quite liked the combat system which merges "normal attacks" and various skills for the best dps result. Particularly I used an OP (at least for the non endgame content) class+race who is pretty much a Tank+a nice DD and has a decent self-healing skill. There are hundreads of quests available and several dungeons to clear.

My experience was positive due to a disgusting amount of luck I got while playing:

• i immediately got a flying mount for 14 days, which saved me hours of travelling around the map
• I also got a great amount of gold at the beginning, which helps to keep the skills upgraded to the max
• I got a level up scroll, which is quite great since the last 5 levels are way slower to gain than the previous ones
• I also got a free 3 days of Elite status toward the end, which helped me a lot to grind the last bosses I needed due to being able to teleport to each location

With all that, I played while doing Red quests which are the only ones that give some XP, this amount is quite good however the 3v3 PvP XP are way too much ("Vanguard Request") therefore that is the best method for sure. That mode is balanced for everyone, same health and stats and once you get used to the unique skills available there, you can win lots of times, granting you a lot of XP. Unfortunately somewhere toward the end (lv 60-65) those XP suddently drop down, making the Lv60-64 quests the way to go for levelling up. The mode is quite dead, therefore it may be a good idea to do some quests while queueing for PvP.

I could have saved some hours if I waited for Lv65 before doing every dungeons, since you get a powerful gear in that moment, instead I took care of most of the dungeons as soon as I was levelled enough, which made them way longer than the necessary.

The only annoying thing to do is to kill each World Boss in 2 continents, since they have a respawn time of 1-6h whenever someone kills them so you most likely don't know when a boss is going to respawn. You can solo all of them when you reach Lv65, but the most powerful ones will take a while without some help.

Finished up Super Bomberman R Online
Server shutdown was announced for december 2022.
Boostable in private matches , which are only possible if one of the accounts had bought the premium account. 
Which makes boosting pay 2 win unfortunately.
1/10 ,hour and a half, 1 UR ( around 3%)
5 players needed for 1 trophy, everything else doable with 2 players.
Would recommend for an easy completion if you can find someone who has premium and is willing to help out.

64 player battle royale being the most unique thing here.
8 screens on each side ( MARKED BLUE) 
Ability to move from one screen to another by entrances/exits ( marked RED) 
Current position on the map ( marked YELLOW)
Game is a copy of the old bomber man games, drop a bomb and hide, destroy the walls or your enemies with the bombs.

Finished with dragonball Z battle of z. I had a bit of fun with this but somewhere near the middle of the story it started getting a bit repetitive for me and I started losing interest. The plat is really easy only downside is it's a bit grindy when you're going after cards and items.

Tier 2 Update

 

I finished my first 2 games for tier 2. 

 

Lovers in A Dangerous Spacetime: Play it with a friend in couch coop and at least on normal difficulty. I assure you, you're in for a good time and even a bit of a challenge. Trophy wise, the game is a joke for how rare it is but I'll take it.

 

Star Wars: Squadrons: Good game all around, had fun with most of it. Ace difficulty was frustrating though and I found myself cheesing through it more than actually becoming good or anything. The real pain however was finding lobbies for Fleet Battle wins. I essentially only found lobbies on weekends in the afternoon and even then I would sometimes have to queue for 20-30 minutes per match.
Luckily, the normal multiplayer deathmatch mode, where most of the grind took place, was still relatively healthy and limiting myself to 5 matches per day actually made this quite the fun little ride.

 

Meanhwile still waiting for Vampire to hit the 2 month mark so it counts for the event while grinding through ESO... It's a good game, but 4% trophy progress with 40 hrs playtime speaks for itself .

I figured I'd give a little miniature update! I was a bit behind the curve since I didn't have a full list for my tier as I was missing a 10th game.. but now I have one! SpeedRunners!



To be honest, coming across this was pure chance. I saw @Cruscah finish it on the previous page and I was all "oh hey, I remember that game!" Thank you for bringing back some memories of this! Well done on completing it as well.

I figured I'd make this post to formally register it now, otherwise I'd definitely forget... ?
Played a bit of it with 2 of my friends, and it's already a blast. And it's really cheap on sale right now, so I recommend it!

But that aside, I reckon I'll focus on SpeedRunners for now and then dive back into BO3 in a week or two. I think either WipEout Omega Collection or Hyper Light Drifter will end up being my last game. Anyway, that's it from me for now!

#7 Super Rude Bear Resurrection

 

Difficulty: 8.5/10

Enjoyment: 8/10

 

 

Super Rude Bear Resurrection is an ultra tight platformer with clear inspirations from super meat boy. It has a unique mechanic whenever you die, your corpse spawns at the location of your death allowing you to use this corpse to navigate obstacles using them to block traps or use them as platforms.

 

The biggest challenge consisted of beating each level without dying earning the "rainbow medal" as well as a few miscellaneous speedrun trophies.

 

 

After completing a number of difficult games from a variety of genres I was itching for a platformer. Late 2021 when this thread was made and people were signing up there was mention of a "difficult platformer" similar to SMB with hardly any completions which immediately piqued my interest. After some research on the game and how achieveable it would be I deicded to put it down. It turned out to be an extremely pleasent surprise, the controls were tight and reponsive, the levels were well designed (most of them...). Each world contains 5 levels, the 5th being a shorter level with a boss and 3 bonus stages, with 7 worlds total. For the trophies thankfully rude bear only requires you to complete every single level in each world without dying as apposed to the entire world however the levels are much longer than SMB with most containing 6+ checkpoints.

 

The last platformer I had played was when I 100%'d Celeste ~2018 on PC so I was extremely rusty. During my casual playthrough on a few of the levels I immediately felt like I was way in over my head with many taking upwards of 50+ deaths on the "easier" worlds.

I quickly managed to shake off my platformer rust shortly after my casual playthrough and began picking up the controls fairly quickly. While hunting the 100% I decided to tackle each world at a time completing all miscellaneous trophies and all no deaths before moving onto the next. The first roadblock I encountered was the "absolutely flowless" trophy, requiring the player to beat the entire second world without a single death.

I didn't encounter any other issues up until the 5th world. This world contained a notorious bonus level 5-B1. The first checkpoint contained an awfully designed obstacle, and all videos containing clears did a fast strat which made the checkpoint twice as hard. I managed to find a consistent setup and the rest of the level wasn't anywhere near as difficult, just came down to not failing simple obstacles due to nerves. My clear.

The 6th world gave some grief but after finding consistent setups for most of the levels the no-deaths were easily achieveable. The most difficult trophy in the 6th world was having to complete it in under 5 minutes 30 but after earning all the rainbows it was just a matter of time to string together a somewhat decent run.

Finally the 7th world. This world was home to the most difficult stage in the game, 7-2. 7-2 was far harder than anything else in the game by a long shot. While the level was fairly short the precision required to clear the level was insane. I rainbowed all other levels in world 7 fairly quickly with mild issues on 7-3 due to the last 2 sections being extremely tight but I still got through it without to many issues. (clear)

Finally I had 7-2 left, which took around 3 hours of pure grinding and some sore thumbs to finally achieve this run. I ended using multiple extremely tight setups in order to achieve some consistency but due to the precision required it was easy to fall short.

 

I'm super happy I decided to pick this game up, it's a shame it never seems to go on sale and is a tad expensive but it's honestly well worth it. Shoutout to @Smzthyy for writing the guide on this hidden gem, I appreciate the work you put in and the videos you uploaded. I hope this game gets a little bit of exposure as the list is challenging but fair and the game is still extremely fun to play casually.

Catherine is done. Obelisk was still as much of a pain in the ass as I remember it being when I did the NA stack years ago although Axis Mundi I almost did on my first attempt in pairs. I’m honestly surprised the EU plat is rarer than the NA plat considering Axis Mundi is glitched in the NA version but isn’t in EU. As far as critique of the game is concerned I really can’t praise it enough. A unique and interesting puzzle game with very interesting social themes. I’ll probably play Full Body at some point in the future. LBP is definitely my next target.

The main game and the final DLC were easy, just the usual in almost every open world game (collectables, side quests, miscelanious stuff, etc). I was expecting The Bozak Horde to be the hardest part, but I guess that my character was so OP that it ended up with me and a friend beating it first try. Parkour Fever is the DLC that have the URs, there are 10 challenges to beat, they all involve going from point A to point B passing by certain checkpoints, I was lucky enough to have a low gravity event where with certain items you were able to literally fly through the checkpoints (that was easy and I'll never understand the real difficult of those challenges). Enjoyable experience overall.

As we've got unlimited swaps, I ended up swapping in a couple of games that I'm planning to play in the near future that also happen to have some Ultra Rares in them. I'll go back to the ones I've swapped out eventually, but for now they can sit and wait ?....

 

If any of you were wondering, I'm one of those people that are sick enough in the head to have really enjoyed the Puyo Puyo side of Yakuza 6 and Judgment, so much so that I decided to buy a whole game of it. ... Let's see how much enjoyment I can get from it. 

 

Anyway! Looks like I'm back again after an offensively long time.... Just like last time I've been keeping up with all of your awesome progress, I've just not really made any myself, until yesterday that is. 

 

It only took me 7 years.... oh and a week but Pool Nation for the PS3 is finally put to bed.

 

Some Thoughts on Pool Nation

 

Playing this again after a gap of so long was a real treat, I've always really enjoyed this game, but finally having it as a locked in S rank on my list sure does feel good now.

 

I seem to be making an unfortunate habit of being the slowest achievers for 100%'s on Pool and Snooker games. Pure Pool I'm sat at the bottom, International Snooker I'm sat at the bottom, and now with Pool Nation I'm sat right at the bottom too. Not that I mind at all, I just think it's a funny coincidence.

 

I have said for a long time that Pool Nation is the absolute best Pool game available for the PS3, and it's something that I still feel comfortable saying. It is a hell of a good game, fantastic even. Especially so if you're big into cue sports (like I am). It's reactive, it's fun, it's incredibly fast paced and it's just such a joy to tinker around with all of the different options that you have available to you, even in 2022 as it ever was.

 

It also has an incredibly diverse mix of both challenging trophies, and outright fun ones. There is a little bit of both in this game, and that was another aspect of the game that I really enjoyed.

 

I'll erm, shut up now, before I start rambling too much. Because I usually write stupidly long reviews, I'll just post a link to my review of Pool Nation in my checklist thread, so if you want to read more about it, you can do so there without me taking up a huge chunk of the page.

 

I might end up throwing quite a few Pool games onto my lists on here actually in the future as most of them have got some Ultra Rare trophies, I'm even considering returning to Hustle Kings, which I almost never thought I'd see myself saying.

 

Hopefully I'll be back in here with Limbo ticked off soon, as I'm getting closer and closer to being able to nail that No Point In Dying trophy.

Been awhile since my last update but i recently finished both Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami recently had them sitting at 40% or so for years but it was great to finally go back and 100% the both of them i didnt find them to difficult the only things in 0 i really found annoying was the JCC tournaments they were really really annoying with the rng BS, with mahjong i didnt have to much trouble since i learnt the minigame when i did judgment last year the only annoying thing with that was the full straight took me around a hour to complete. as for kiwami the car chase on legend was defiantly the most annoying it wasnt even really the chase itself its the fact you cant even save at all in the whole chapter so if you die you gotta fight through all of the snake flower triad waves again.... which takes like 5- 10 minutes.

 

As for my next game ima be starting the caligula effect on vita soon i did the remake earlier this year was amazing but the vita one is alot worse i have seen a save bug that has a chance to delete your whole save file when you save gonna be using psplus ALOT for that.

The new rule allowing to post any finished games after registering saved me on this one, because I completely forgot to report here that I finished Super Bomberman R Online, 9 days ago. It does have a single UR trophy, so it counts!.

 

When the news of the shutdown broke out, I joined a session soon after and almost immediately was messaged and offered help by someone who bought the Premium Pass. Got it done in about half an hour. To all of you helping the community out with this, you're all legends. (Oh, in case someone doesn't know, the game is a f2p 64 players battle royale. You can get all trophies in private matches quite easily, but the feature really is behind the paywall of the premium pass. Yes, private matches. And with the announcement of the shutdown the pass was delisted so you need to have bought the pass or find someone that has, for the easy completion).
