Chances of a Remaster

Recommended Posts

I've wanted to give this a go but would enjoy it if the title was available on modern consoles without the seventh generation tacked on multiplayer component. With the announcement of a sequel at the Game Awards I thought that a remaster would be inevitable as a way to generate buzz. However it seems like licensing could be an issue. THQ originally published this game, with Sega taking over after THQ went under. Focus Entertainment is publishing the sequel so collaborating on a remaster seems unlikely. However, in a relevant example, THQ Nordic and EA were able to reach an agreement to release Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. What do you folks think?
