I am convinced I am the only one dealing with this problem, but ill try and explain it maybe someone could help. I looked all over the internet and im the only one experiencing this I guess. When I play the game I can't get any trophies to pop. I beat the prolong multiple time and still haven't got the first trophy. I get a message at the top that states the trophies name and says achievement ID? What the heck? Please somebody help!

I’m actually having this issue too. Playing on the PS5, I realized the trophy list wasn’t even popping up and I was getting notifications on the screen that said something like “Achievement Achieved” with numbers etc but no trophies…

 

Im gonna try a reinstall now but if you find something that works, please share.

 

Edit: Looks like a number of people are having this issue after the last patch, at least per reports on their subReddit

What?! :facepalm:

 

I just got this game from a giveaway a few days ago, and was excited to plat it since it wasn't demanding. Now I'm hesitant to even start it. :(

Yes tried both on ps5 and ps4, no solution.

Yeah I did more research. Looks like the new patch they put out f'd up the whole trophies system.

Yeah same, I was excited to get all the trophies with no hassle, and we get the biggest hassle of all. No Trophies.

I've tweeted the devs regarding this - but I have yet to play it. 

They seem to actually be semi-responsive on Twitter, so hopefully it can get resolved soon!

 

I was hoping to start this over the New Year. It seems like a really solid game. 

 

Just for clarifiction; is this problem on PS4/PS5? Is it on a BRAND NEW save (not an old on pre-patch)?

Thanks for tweeting them, I don't have a Twitter. What did they say?

 

I tried on both ps4 and ps5 both with new saves. I started new games on both and can't even get the prologue trophy.

"sigh" I stopped playing after the save-breaking bug with the timeline and now this. It has to be the buggiest game I've played on PS4/PS5 so far.

Other then the trophies not popping I haven't noticed any other issues. Thanks for messaging the devs too.

Unfortunately no response - a few game devs do go quiet on social media around this time of year (plus it is the weekend) so if I do get a response, I'll let you know!

 

Thanks for clarifying about the specific console thing though.

I tweeted to them, and also got no response. I hope they fix this problem after the holiday season.

I love how they are putting out promotions for photo mode, and still no update on a fix.

I might try it again tonight. Then again, maybe not all players experience the bug.

There are two separate trophy lists for Chernobylite -- NA and EU. I have the NA digital copy. And patches aren't always the same for every region. For instance, the Asian version of The Evil Within 2 has never received the patch for enabling in-game cheats, which makes the game much easier to plat.

 

Nonetheless, please keep us posted if you do obtain trophies in Chernobylite. :)

I just looked at this and also wondered why no trophies are popping. I have seen for certain things like upgrading the revolver and traitor quest the "Achievement 100" or something message pop up. And thought that it was just tracking  progress and that was bugged. I have a twitter account I rarely use and will try to ask the devs what's up with this, too. Hopefully more voices gets more traction toward a fix. Glad to have these forums around to let us know what's up with some of these games!

Just checked the twitter account and there was a post as recently as 16 January about fixes for consoles. Sounds like there might be problems with the xbox version as well?

Your trophies popped after the patch? I booted mine up today and played a little bit and got nothing post-patch. What did you do to fix the trophies, if you don't mind my asking?

I replayed the missions where they did not pop. I had a backup save file. I doubt the trophies can pop retroactively, but I don't know.

Yeah, it's probably worth waiting for the PS5 version and all the DLC at the end of 2022. The game is pretty good, but it needs more meat on its bones, which the DLC should add by the end of 2022. Plus the PS4 port is pretty poor (low FPS, so-so textures).

Hopefully I can go back and start again from an earlier save. I haven't done too much as far as main missions. All I have done is the supply drop and food  gathering missions. Did the traitor mission, too.
