What's your favorite world in Sonic Colors: Ultimate??

What's your favorite world in Sonic Colors: Ultimate. it can be based on Music, Level design, the type of wisp you use & anything else i didn't mention but you might have thought of

Sweet Mountain, it had the most satisfying shortcuts to take when doing shuttle mode imo. I also really love how hard the trumpets go in the track for that stage lmao.

I actually hated Sweet Mountain. It's my least favourite world in the game. I actually hate Aquarium Park more, but I love the music in that one, so it gets a higher placement than Sweet Mountain.

 

My favourites were Tropical Resort and Asteroid Coaster.

I ended up going with Asteroid Coaster because I really only like the music in Tropical Resort, whereas Asteroid has great music AND gameplay!

aw, why didn't you like it very much? i think asteroid coaster was cool but it had too many short acts (i don't really think act 4 should even count as a level lmfao, you're just running in a circle) so i didn't choose it as my favorite. i really appreciate the guitar that's going on in that world tho.

 

tropical resort on the other hand was pretty varied, i had a lot of fun with it! it'd probably be my second favorite.

Haha Act 4 was so dumb. They obviously ran out of ideas when it came to that one!

 

I just didn't really care for any of the acts in Sweet Mountain, and I also think the music in that world was by far the worst music in the game! Since I love listening to the soundtracks of nearly every Sonic game, the music plays a big part in my choices.

Have to say Starlight Carnival personally. Thought it had some interesting ideas in terms of level design and it was very visually pleasing to me.

In terms of music, definitely Planet Wisp - its so memorable to me and I love any rendition of the song. 

I'm usually a bit mixed on the gameplay in Colours - but I think I ended up having the most fun on Asteroid Coaster.

Visually its gotta be Starlight Carnival tho

Since we're on a trophy hunter page I will respond with how much I liked each world when going for the 100% and S-rank trophies:

 

• Tropical Resort - Actually pretty fun and colorful. It's quite an easy world but what would you expect from the very first world, right? Had no trouble with this world at all to be honest.
• Sweet Mountain - Perhaps one of my favorites. Easy but not too easy and a really great OST! S-rank runs were great and the Rival Rush was just fun!
• Starlight Carnival - Extremely colorful and wild. I hated the Rival Rush on this world a lot but the S-ranks and the red rings weren't a problem at all.
• Planet Wisp - I can't express my hatred towards this world enough. I hated the Red Rings, I hated the S-ranks and the Rival Rush was just straight up a pain in the buttocks. Nothing about his world was fun to me and I was glad it was done in the end.
• Aquarium Park - Horrible world for getting S-ranks but overall not as bad as Planet Wisp for me. I didn't like the fact that you needed to get bubbles to be able to breath underwater but S-ranks where doable at least. 
• Asteroid Coaster - My favorite. Really liked the whole theme of this world and the S-ranks + red rings in this world were great! A challenge, but a very fun one (unlike Planet Wisp....)

 

Sidenote: I don't have the platinum yet but I played the game back when it originally released on the Wii and I played through the remaster with a good friend on his account. I'm getting the platinum on my own account pretty soon (I hope)!

Every planet has something to like, but Asteroid Coaster has everything I enjoyed.

 

It's like Eggmanland, but fun. And good.

I'd have to go with Planet Wisp. I first played that level in Sonic Generations and I liked it. When I got to that part in the remaster, nostalgia hit so hard. Need I say more?

Starlight Carnaval for sure, colorful and beautiful with all levels being fun. I also have a soft spot for Aquarium Park, it's an Underwater World that is actually tolerable on a Sonic universe.
