willythom88
Time for another update, and another square down. Ya know, you'd think I'd never played Bingo in my life, given what an honest attempt I seem to be making at not getting a bingo. Anyway, newest one is Has snacks that heal you, with Trials of Mana what with candy, chocolate bars and cookies at your disposal. Puzzle - Expand Title screen has purple on it - Monsterbag Featuring a romance - Sea of Solitude In Game Weather - Season after Fall Has Snacks - Trials of Mana
Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Up until now, I haven't declared any games that I haven't yet fully S-Ranked... ....however, with the release of Elden Ring, everything else will be going on the back burner for a while, so figured I'd update with a couple of games that I have at least met the event requirements of seeing a full playthrough completed! For "Spawned an Extended Universe" I'm using Alan Wake, as it has at least two spin off Comic books: I've not S-Ranked as yet, but have finished my first playthrough, so should count, I think! Also, for "Recommended by a PSNP Member", I'm using Solar Ash - recommended by the one and only @Arcesius, which I finished a first playthrough of last night!
Popular Post KunoGuy
First Bingo...For Realz. Update #4: I thought I had finished my first bingo using ABZU but was reminded of the rule not doing trophy cleanup. #BingoBlock. So thanks to @Hurricane_Tanya for the Tearaway recommendation. You were right, it wasn't crazy long and pretty fun. I ended up needing to find some collectibles but was able to finish that today. My goal for this challenge was to mix in some, well, challenging games. So Bastion was a game I had wanted to finish for the isometric category. I did have another game as a backup but no need. If you've played the game some of the trophies put up a challenge especially the About the Author Trophy. Believe it or not, I've never played Ratchet & Clank (or Jak and Daxter), I was always more a Sly Cooper fan. It was a fantastic game, great PS5 experience, and makes me want to see what other games I should try in the series. Astro's Playroom: As a longtime Sony gamer, I enjoyed seeing all the hardware and peripherals from over the years that I had at one time, like the PSONE LCD screen, good memories playing on that back then. Also very fun game and hence I wanted it for the Player's Choice category. Clockwork Tales was another game I platted. I wanted to try out the PS Now service so it worked as a game I could download and play offline. Straightforward hidden object/ point and click adventure with a steampunk theme. Popular Post stuthesheep
Latest check-off is O1 with Mass Effect : Andromeda. Never played a Mass Effect game before this - I missed quite a few console generations due to having more important things to spend my money on over the past more years than I care to mention - so I can't add my voice as to whether it's a good Mass Effect game or not, but after a couple of false starts I had a great time with this. Although it's far from perfect it doesn't really deserve as much hate as it got/gets. The Legendary Collection will probably make its way onto my backlog at some point. I really should start planning games to try and get a line at some point. Oh well, plenty of time for that. Completed so far: Spoiler I1 (No Jump Button) Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice 26/1 O1 (Punctuation) Mass Effect: Andromeda 1/3 I2 (SciFi/Fantasy) Rime 1/2 I3 (DLC) Rise of the Tomb Raider: Endurance 7/2 O3 (Crafting) Assassin's Creed: Origins 12/1 B4 (Free) Kitten Squad 20/1 G5 (Underplayed) The Forgotten City 3/1 (109 players at time of completion) Edited March 1, 2022 by stuthesheep Patience is a virtue
Popular Post papert0wng1rl
Here's my February update. Last month turned out incredibly busy, so I had less than usual amount of time to play. But I did finish one game towards my bingo card! This month's addition is: Titanfall 2 - for player operated vehicles. I didn't want to go with a predictable pick of a racing game or something, so instead I chose to pilot a giant mecha with a charismatic personality, all while saving an off-world colony in the galaxy far-far away. It was badass. Spoiler B1 - With gorgeous vistasI1 - In-game weather effects - Astro's Playroom N1 - That you started but didn't finishG1 - Redeemed from PS+ - Mortal Kombat X O1 - Cult favorite B2 - With player choices and multiple endings I2 - Has no platinum trophy N2 - DLC pack or standalone DLC G2 - Side-scrolling or bullet hell O2 - Oldest on your backlog B3 - Starts with the first letter of your PSNID I3 - Non-human sidekick N3 - Player choice G3 - Last game you acquired O3 - Reboot or spiritual successor B4 - With player operated vehicles - Titanfall 2I4 - Main character has no facial hair - Rise of the Tomb Raider N4 - Overplayed (100,000+ owners) G4 - With mystery or detective themes O4 - Originally released in 2022 B5 - Released in your birth month I5 - Hype! N5 - Aliens or robots G5 - Non-violent O5 - With isometric view

Popular Post Evil_Joker88
Two more added to the chart but still no bingo First idea for Banned in a Country was The Darkness II which is a good FPS about a man being host to the evil incarnation itself and his fight against men who want to steal The Darkness from him and seeing illusions of his dead girlfriend who appears several times in the story. It's very brutal visuals and gore were a few problems for some people giving ratings but as the game includes a demon as a sidekick most parts of the game which attacks on its own but you can also throw it at enemies to let them be killed i decided to put the game in I4 (non human sidekick). Besides that new is Kyurinaga's Revenge as sidescrolling (or bullethell) (G1). A sequel to a hack-and-slash game Yasai Ninja in which vegetables in human form live in an medieval based Japan the protagonists are an Onion and a Brokkoli in Yasai Ninja they fight against the Shogun (Kyurinaga) who wants to kill the Tenno (= Emperor) (has no name). In Kyurinaga's Revenge the heroes are running away from Kyurinaga who wants to kill them for revenge. The game has only 2D levels and it's a jump 'n' run mostly. The game looks alright with different stages (villages, forests, mountains, castles) and everything is 3D in visual there are several fights which are simple QTEs but very long and rather fast at the later stages. In all honesty i think the first game (Yasai Ninja) is much better as it has 3D levels in which you fight and then 2D levels in which you just jump and run. And the was much easier in the first game too....
Popular Post MD_91
Manual Samuel done for Player Operated Vehicles, you're only operating a vehicle for a very small part of the game but I've been wanting to play this and without using my indy or player choice boxes this was my only option, pretty fun short game although the controls did get frustrating at times especially on the time trials Player choices/multiple endings - Oxenfree Isometric view - Untitled Goose Game Metroidvania or Rogue-like - Yoku's Island Express
Popular Post Together_Comic
Been awhile but I finally managed to check of game number three in the category of fantasy/Sci-Fi. The Legend of Heroes: Cold Steel IV is a sci-fi RPG revolving around the "great twilight" and the effect it has on the countries of Erebonia and its surrounding neighbors. The game features many of the classic JRPG elements such as a convoluted plot, customizable characters, and (minor spoilers for the first game in the series) F***ing Gundams. Its already march and with 22 games to go, I need to get a move on if I'm going to finish. Though on the bright side, since I haven't updated in awhile yall are going to give me plenty of reading material. Here is the list of completed games by category and tentative games for each other category. Popular Post be_minor
Update #1 I finally have my first couple of games on the board, and I’m really happy with them! I platinumed both Bloodborne (Frightening/ Horror) and Horizon Forbidden West (Originally Released In 2022). I’ve enjoyed the stories in both, favoring the former by just a bit. I’ve been cleaning up a few games that don’t qualify for this challenge, but I should have more story completions on the horizon.

Don't think this one needs a whole lot of explaining, there's a picture of Kratos in the dictionary next to anti-hero. Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
I totally didn't forget about this event and now just decided to post my January and February update. O1 - Hades O5 - Guilty Gear Strive I think Hades was a bit overhyped for me. It was still a good game, but I really didn't care for the RNG nonsense of trophies I had to deal with. Made it feel like a chore late in the game which is something I hate doing in video games. It's an isometric game so there's literally no jump button. As for Guilty Gear Strive, it was probably one of the best fighting games I've played in a long time. The sound track is an absolute banger and learning how to play the system and do absurd amount of damage was really fun. Aside from beating arcade mode on the extreme route, this was a very chill and easy platinum. Sol Badguy is the definition of anti-hero and his name has Bad Guy in it so it has to count! Next: My next finished game/platinum will likely either be TLOU 2 or Dead Nation (PS3). One of my overall goals for 2022 gaming wise is going back and finishing 5 old PS3 games and being on the zombie kick with TLOU 2, seems like a good game to mix in every now and then. Popular Post MAUSZX
This is my first update, I was going to wait until the first BINGO, but I've been a mess and have really played games and after that think if that game fits any space here, I have so many options that I kinda get overwhelmed, so I decide to play whatever game comes to mind, either if I want a short one, an easy one, a hard one or even a game that I need to finish to free up some space in the console. So in order to keep in mind whatever I need to do next, I need to lock in some games before anything happens. Game title with purple: TROVER SAVES THE UNIVERSE. Is purple in the screen here in PSNP, also purple as the thumbnail in the console, basically is the most purple game in psn. This game is one of the funniest games I have ever played, it was made to be played in VR, but it can be played without it, created by the Rick and Morty guys, this games is going to make you laugh a lot if you are in that kind of sense of humor. Spawned an expanded Universe: MASS EFFECT. Pretty sure this was one of the first games that spawned books and comics, this and Halo, so Mass Effect, you probably already know what it is, it fitted in 3 spaces in my bingo table, but I decided this one was going to be the one. Love the Legendary Edition, they really fixed the pop in problem that the 360 had. Funny thing is I remember things so differently, I for some reason thought Ashley was Atheist, I remember her saying that, but this time I played it she is actually a believer, that's how I know, memories can be tricky and false. By an Indie developer: SHALNOR LEGENDS: SACRED LANDS. This situation is weird, ok so I bought this game long time ago thinking, maybe this is one of those fun but super easy games, I thought this was a Platinum bait game, NOUP. Is not super hard don't get me wrong, but it is not super easy either and not short at all, at least the platinum takes time. Pretty good game I would say, similar to Zelda in many ways and not that similar in others, I think for a cheap price this is a buy. This is a super indie game that was made by one person. With mini games in it: GOAT SIMULATOR. This game might be considered as a minigame itself, but there are many minigames in the game, including the INFAMOUS, the awful, the painful, the so frustrating, FLAPPY GOAT, yes in order to get the platinum you NEED to get finish 10 points in that minigame, sounds easy, is really not, you can hit nothing and still lose, but I finally manage it. PS: I know "is not necessary to get the platinum" but I will do them anyway, that's the way I play, also I'll finish the GOAT SIMULATOR DLC this week, but those are my locked in games. Popular Post Copanele
Two more boxes down! Has no platinum trophy - Guilty Gear: Ancient fighting game that has only "clear the game with all characters" kind of trophies. Pretty basic but it works best for this square. Cooperative Game - Elden Ring: You can play the entire game in co-op mode either via Jolly Cooperation or via AI summons. Only if you want, that is

Popular Post Han_the_Dragon
Well, since I finished FF7R Intergrade, I guess that I can do another update... I'm using it for Game with Mini-games. And I will just say that with this second run through the game I managed to come to terms with the "introduction of foreign stuff" into the game and I'm again eagerly waiting for part 2... also only now I noticed that Sonon is a "beta Cid", since his fighting style is the same as Cid would be (including limit break and win pose at the VR arena stuff..), quite funny easter egg at my eyes.. Next up is my change for the Game with Weather Effects, since I can't wait to start GT7! (And yes, that's definitely my next game).
