Popular Post Han_the_Dragon
I didn't noticed that my previous update was over 2 months ago.. anyway, this will also be my final update, since I completed the list when I finished Soul Hackers 2 a bit ago.. As for the 4 games completed in the meantime: 1st - Ara Fell recommended by @Xylobe for the "Recommended by a PSNP member". I have to say, usually I stay away from "pixel inspired" games, because I usually don't enjoy them, that said, after playing this one, I think that it was really a nice experience, even on the Expert difficulty it wasn't all that annoying. Really a great suggestion for me! 2nd - Nights of Azure for the "Title Screen as Purple in It". Definitely there's purple all over the place.. the game actually was more enjoyable for me than I expected, but maybe the way I played was also different from how most people play it, since in the end I didn't needed to grind all that much for the platinum.. Still, was a somewhat silly, light heart, dark story for most of the time.. 3rd - Disgaea 6 EU PS5 version for the "Strategy, Simulation or Management". Well, I'm big into Disgaea, so I was with decent expectations going into it, that said, it felt weak by Disgaea standards, both in the content (adding extra difficulties into it, with rebranded items multiple times isn't exactly that exciting..) and also the comedy was weak.. Valzy was more fun in his single appearance than most of the story.. 4th - Soul Hackers 2 for "Players Choice". Definitely something fitting for my own choice of game, really enjoyed it, even if I felt it lacking, since it was essentially "hubs" and while the story and character progress felt good, it was a bit limited on what we had to do. On top of that the dungeons could be a better better, or more varied (specially the Soul Dungeons.. that felt to repetitive.. always same environment..). But my biggest grip was that we always had to go out of the dungeons each time that we wanted to Fuse demons.. that really felt extremely limited to me, since I had to abort my current exploration each time that I wanted to Fuse something.. Well, really liked the event, and since it doesn't require to 100% or plat all games, it definitely was a good change of pace for me (and allowed me to at least convince myself to finish the story for a few more trophies on games that I had put on hold because I know that's impossible for me to get those platinum, unless I commit amounts of time that I no longer want to invest on hard games.. I always prefer a 200 hours grind, than a 100 hours skill plat like Street Fighter 4..).. And the final list: Spoiler B1 - Sci-fi or Fantasy Theme - Nightmares From the Deep 3: Davy Jones B2 - That You Can Beat in One Sitting - Light Fairytale Episode 2 B3 - Overplayed (owned by >100000 players) - Detroit: Become Human B4 - Favorite Genre - I Am Setsuna B5 - In-game Weather Effects - Gran Turismo 7 PS5 I1 - Release Your Inner Weeb - Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne I2 - Recommended by a PSNP member - Ara Fell: Enhanced Edition I3 - Title Screen as Purple in It - Nights of Azure I4 - Non-Human Sidekick - Faery: Legends Of Avalon I5 - Spawned an Extended Universe - BlazBlue: CentralFiction N1 - No Jump Button - Nightmares From the Deep 2: The Siren's Call N2 - Strategy, Simulation or Management - Disgaea 6 Complete EU PS5 N3 - Player's Choice - Soul Hackers 2 PS5 N4 - That Gives You the Feels - Voice of Cards: The Island Dragon Roars N5 - Crafting Mechanics - Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness G1 - Developed in a Foreign Country - Lollipop Chainsaw G2 - With mini-games in it - Final Fantasy VII Remake PS5 G3 - Peripheral-based - Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle G4 - You Think You Will Dislike - The Order 1886 G5 - For Another PSNP Event - Nightmares From the Deep: The Cursed Heart O1 - Main Character as no facial heir - One Punch Man: The Hero Nobody Knows O2 - Frightening/Horror - Murdered: Soul Suspect PS4 O3 - Racing or Sports - Need For Seed: The Run O4 - DLC Pack or Standalone DLC - Burnout Paradise PS4 - Surf Island DLC O5 - Banned in a Country - Injustice: Gods Among Us PS3
Popular Post Evil_Joker88
So here i am with a new game completed for this event while playing some other game for the same category I searched for a game to fill in the Mystery or Detective Category and decided 2 days ago to play Stray and nearly made it through but then saw this morning that a friend started The Dark Pictures Anthology Man of Medan so i jumped into that right away. After 4 hours we completed a shared story and i say i really like the game almost as much as like Until Dawn (the same devs) but it was really great to have two people trying together to survive with several characters this horror story. I'm certainly playing it again more than once to see alternative endings soon but that doesn't matter for this event (I'm still playing Stray to the end too but not today anymore and sadly it doesn't fit any other open category anymore it's a good game too)

Popular Post Platinum_Vice
Good evening Bingo Bitties, this September update is my first post here since the end of May. In that time I've been working on a little bit more than the following three games, but I've definitively finished these campaigns in that time: 1. Featuring a romance: Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. Monkey and Trip's boy-meets-girl story (boy-is-a-brooding-and-brutish-loner-while-girl-has-constant-vulnerable-face-and-has-never-loved-before-type drama) fits the bill for this one. I was going to use this game for the cult favourite tile but decided otherwise as very few of the games that I play feature much in the way of romance. 2. The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition. Another potential contender for cult favourite that I precluded. This was my first time visiting Monkey Island and overall I found it fun but far from perfect. Free from the drunken vision of nostalgia goggles, I had some minor issues with the game that I hope don't make the jump to the sequel (which I'm playing now). The very first puzzle that Guybrush solves requires him to use a cooking pot as a helmet so that he can be shot out of a circus cannon, so I've managed to squeeze this one in for Customisable hats. ? 3. It's taken me 14 months to get through the campaign of Grip: Combat Racing, so I put this one down for Takes "forever" to beat. If you enjoy arcade racers then you'll probably enjoy a few hours of Grip, but I don't recommend it for completionists due to many issues with the trophy list and with some of the gameplay itself. The game's gimmick is that your wheels (and speed) allow you to drive upside down so you're constantly driving through pipes or being flipped around and that makes for very disorienting gameplay, so you'll probably irritate your significant other if you subject them to this vomit-inducer. I'm still yet to achieve a single BINGO line but I'll get there... eventually.?
Popular Post stuthesheep
Tantalisingly close to the end of this odyssey now, we're marking off N3 and Player's Choice with Disc Jam... ...although technically it should be renamed Player's "Not Much" Choice, thanks to the servers shutting down for good tomorrow. Reasonably enjoyable, if slightly unremarkable, little game (it did bring back some good memories of Speedball 2 on the C64, so many joysticks destroyed!) which was fun for about 20 minutes when it came onto Plus 65 months ago, but then spent the rest of the time festering at 30%-ish in the lower reaches of my profile while I got on with my life. Finally got around to picking up the rest of the trophies I needed to get the 100% over the past couple of weeks and avoid the pain of unobtainable trophies. Onward! Spoiler B1 (Reboot) Ratchet & Clank 21/4 I1 (No Jump Button) Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice 26/1 N1 (Weeb) Shenmue 28/3 G1 (Antihero) God of War III 8/3 O1 (Punctuation) Mass Effect: Andromeda 1/3 B2 (Non-Violent) Farming Simulator 19 20/7 I2 (SciFi/Fantasy) Rime 1/2 N2 (No Humans) Spy Chameleon 24/3 G2 (Adventure) Just Cause 3 3/7 O2 (Horror) The Evil Within 25/8 B3 (Non-Gaming IP) The Walking Dead: Definitive Edition 23/5 I3 (DLC) Rise of the Tomb Raider: Endurance 7/2 N3 (Players Not Much Choice) Disc Jam 28/9 G3 (Retro) Shenmue II 9/6 O3 (Crafting) Assassin's Creed: Origins 12/1 B4 (Free) Kitten Squad 20/1 I4 (Cooperative) Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime 10/5 N4 (Hats) Among Us 9/7 O4 (Anthropomorphised Animals) Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom 1/9 B5 (Hype) What Remains of Edith Finch 1/9 I5 (Non-Human Sidekick) 2064: Read-Only Memories 27/4 N5 (Same Initial) Salt and Sanctuary 14/7 G5 (Underplayed) The Forgotten City 3/1 (109 players at time of completion)

Popular Post papert0wng1rl
Once again, quite some time went by without an update from me. I am very close to finishing my bingo card: just two more games and I am done. Since my last update I finished the following: Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island - for a DLC pack. Well, I actually finished two DLC packs to complete the Iki Island expansion. Great story and a beautiful location. L.A. Noire - for the oldest on my backlog. I played the first couple of cases in the early days of the original PS3 release. Then something glitched out, so my game would crash in the same place over and over again. I never really got to experience the story because of it. Fast forward to two years ago, when I got back into gaming and inherited my very own PS4, this remaster was the first game I purchased to go along with it. Still, it took me until now to finally cross it off my backlog. It Takes Two - for the player choice. I played this one back in January, but I was holding off on claiming it for the spot worrying that something better will come along to take its place. But who am I kidding? It Takes Two was one of the best experiences I've had on Playstation yet. It is rightly celebrated by so many, and it definitely deserves the central spot in my collection. Spoiler B1 - With gorgeous vistas - Horizon Forbidden WestI1 - In-game weather effects - Astro's PlayroomN1 - That you started but didn't finish - Far Cry 5G1 - Redeemed from PS+ - Mortal Kombat XO1 - Cult favorite - Friday the 13th: The Game B2 - With player choices and multiple endings - The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan I2 - Has no platinum trophyN2 - DLC pack or standalone DLC - Ghost of Tsushima: Iki IslandG2 - Side-scrolling or bullet hell - CupheadO2 - Oldest on your backlog - L.A. Noire B3 - Starts with the first letter of your PSNIDI3 - Non-human sidekick - Marvel's Guardians of the GalaxyN3 - Player choice - It Takes TwoG3 - Last game you acquired - StrayO3 - Reboot or spiritual successor - Ratchet & Clank [2016] B4 - With player operated vehicles - Titanfall 2I4 - Main character has no facial hair - Rise of the Tomb RaiderN4 - Overplayed (100,000+ owners) - Assassin's Creed OdysseyG4 - With mystery or detective themes - Beyond a Steel SkyO4 - Originally released in 2022 - LEGO Star Wars: Skywalker Saga B5 - Released in your birth month - Heavenly BodiesI5 - Hype! - Last of Us Part IIN5 - Aliens or robots - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen OrderG5 - Non-violent - Jurassic World EvolutionO5 - With isometric view - El Hijo: A Wild West Tale

Popular Post MAUSZX
Update: Almost the last one, did another Bingo, doesn't change a lot, but this means I am 4 away to fill out the entire list. Player's Choice: IN SOUND MIND. Could have been any other game, but I needed to lock it in now. Super good game, kinda scary but not crazy scary, I recommend this game, is short and no missables, and it has good stories in it. Banned in a Country: Manhunt This is probably the most Banned franchise in history, between this and the sequel this games have been super banned in many countries (still hoping to have a manhunt 2 port, like the first one). On Ps5 this game has some graphics pop ins, so just be aware. The controls didn't really age that well, specially the camera it aged so bad that I didn't really used the right stick. That everyone played but you. I own a lot of game that a lot have played but me (looking at you Bloodborne) So DOOM was one that I owned for years and didn't played it, it was until I read some servers issues it had that I decided to go for the entire game and so it fits the category. So I still have pending Favourite Genre... which I struggle with. I have a lot. RPGs and Stealth up there, of course there is the Dishonored type that some people call them Immersive Simulators... So I am thinking on DEUS EX MAN KIND DIVIDED. It has RPG elements, it has stealth and it is an IMMERSIVE SIM... so I guess it could be that, but time will tell, tho I already finished the multiplayer stuff so maybe. Customizable Hats: I bought A Hat in Time just for this, so that's my objective right there. Releasing my inner weeb: This is going to be Tales of Arise, already decided I am going to start this by November. Cult Favorite: According to google and wikipedia results and the games I own. It can be Psychonauts, Spec Ops the Line, ICO, Catherine, Vanquish, Apotheon, Undertale, Gravity Rush 2, Remothered Tormented Fathers, Stubbs The Zombie, Pathologic 2. and lot of other games that I don't own but that I have on my lookout. Sooo this would be potentially easy or hard since I have a lot of options to pick. Edited October 19, 2022 by MAUSZX

Popular Post stuthesheep
*insert mildly amusing Full House/Bingo GIF here* Marked off the final two squares over the past week or so to bring this odyssey to a satisfying conclusion. First off is G4 with my first experience of a Yakuza game, taking on Yakuza Kiwami. Took a bit of getting used to all the Japanese at first but after that I really enjoyed the story. That and a few other miscellaneous trophies are about as far as I got, thanks to a combination of an incredibly badly timed and progress-wiping blue screen of doom and my utter ineptitude at the karaoke minigame (side note, I'm awesome in real life, my Suspicious Minds would melt your face). Didn't really put me off the series though, I'll probably go back and play another Yakuza next year (I actually picked up Kiwami 2 in the last sale for £4, which was excellent timing) but going for any Yakuza plats will probably remain a bridge too far. Thank goodness for this event's rules! And to finish off is O5, marking off my birth month of November with Drawngeon: Dungeons of Ink and Paper. It was far from my first choice, as November isn't short of big name releases and I originally planned to go for Dragon Age: Inquisition. However at the end of the year work usually slams me over and over with the run up to Festivus, three family birthdays not including myself to get through, the NFL season in full swing and the added bonus of a winter World Cup this year (despite Scotland honourably deciding to lie down for Ukraine in the playoffs) mean I'd probably find it difficult to find the time to get through a monster game like that even with two months to play with, so went browsing in the store for November releases and decided to pick up Drawngeon for about 40p - although I must say that My Name is Mayo did flutter its eyelashes at me briefly. Drawngeon is a very old-school handrawn dungeon crawler, reasonably straightforward once you get the hang of the mechanics. An enjoyable diversion for a few hours. So that's it then. Really enjoyed this event, ticked off quite a few games that would otherwise have remained in the backlog for years and a few pleasant surprise among them. Spongebob still sucked balls though. Popular Post Platinum_Vice
Five more campaigns completed. The decision to not use any of the games that I've played recently to make a bingo (yet) is because I've chosen to definitely do my best to complete the whole card before the end of the year. So many of you have finished this event already and I really hate the feeling of 'quitter's regret.' Full steam ahead! Peripheral-based: Rifftrax was a blast to play. Shoutout to @DrBloodmoney and @Copanele for the assist/giggle sessions. Racing or sports: I had a lot more fun than I expected when I got into an EA sports game for the first time in... 15 (or so) years. Free to play: I'm holding this event responsible for tempting me to download a shovelware game and finish it in the least amount of time that I could. ? Even at 10 minutes and 34 seconds I'm still only the 53rd fastest player to 100% Minefield - a free Minesweeper clone - which doesn't feel like justification enough to have played it. ? N++ isn't co-operative experience all of the time (it isn't even the game's primary game mode) but my wife and I still completed the co-operative portion together and I'm proud of our dual achievement. She came a long way since the first time she gave N++ a go and I'm glad she persevered. Finally, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge was my pick for a cult favourite. Congratulations to those who have already finished.

Popular Post Evil_Joker88
Today is a good day because i've completed two more games for my Bingo Bonanza charta As a platform exclusive game (G5) i chose Infamous 2 which is a good successor. I'm almost sorry that i didn't play more of 3D Dot Game Heroes which is also a ps3 exclusive but i'm stuck in one temple midway through... As for Simulation, Management or Strategy (N4) i played Bee Simulator which is a nice little game about being a honeybee and collecting pollen I have started The Persistence for the last open spot and i'm giving my all to complete that one before the end of the year Edited November 20, 2022 by Evil_Joker88
Popular Post Platinum_Vice
Completing four more campaigns brings me from zero lines of bingo to four. Side-scroller or bullet hell: Slain: Back from Hell was pretty fun. Pretty hard, too. It's heavy on the metal aesthetic. Check it out if you like hard games and hard rock. You get to headbang when you defeat bosses: Has a number or punctuation in the title: Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut is bite-sized puzzler where the puzzles are within the reasonable scope of not needing a guide. The story that is thrust upon you is a bit meh but this game is great considering the small size of the dev team. The PS3 version doesn't have an invert look mode, though, so get the PS4 version if you handle a controller like a normal person. The highly-acclaimed Dishonored 2 is my pick for an Award-Winner for taking home 2016's "Best Action/Adventure game" at the Game Awards. Super Time Force Ultra will have to work as my Player's Choice. I guess that I've got seven weeks to fill my remaining five spots.
