Bingo Bonanza 2022

Okay, here's mine now that I got an upload site that will work for me.  Don't know what is up with imgur lately but something just makes it be a blank black page when I try to view it and I can't figure out what is causing that.

Yea, they were accepted in the original, so they will be accepted this time.

Awesome!  I've been playing a lot on RetroAchievements as of late so it's nice to know those can be used as well and they also have a great tracking system.

And looks like I got the recommended by a PSNP member one too, so I'd be open to some recs.  Stuff I own but haven't played yet is on my about me page and my Steam profile is also linked there.  Warning though, my Steam profile has a lot of games and can cause browsers to stop responding for a time.

. Does anyone know of an image hosting site that is free besides imgur?  Imgur stopped working for me and I can't even get the site to load enough to upload something now

I use postimages.org and have been very happy with it - it’s free

Well, I have been thinking a bit on how I would tackle my card and end up with a draft of a potential list, but I'm not sure if a few actually qualify for what I put them in.

My general concern are:

1st - I don't know if both Vampire The Mascarade games are actually full games, or Standalone DLC..

2nd - games that can be beat in one sitting require them to actually be beaten in one sitting? (It's not really an issue between the 2 games that I listed and my Artifex Mundi backlog.. just wanted to makesure of how to correctly clear this challenge).

3rd - Does "Strategy, Simulation, Management" mean turn based JRPGs are okay?

4th - Sly Minigames was made with the Move in mind, but it's playable without it, so, I'm not sure if it is allowed as a " Peripheral-based" game. Also I think that since the game doesn't have anything similar to a story, but have trophies for playing all Minigames, that could work to confirm the clear of it. If it isn't allowed for the "Peripheral-based", I'm open to suggestions.

5th - For the DLC requirement does it requires to be a story DLC and hoe we check the completion (I'm planning at FF15 Royal DLC, since I didn't start it yet, but don't know how this one works).

6th - Need some game suggestions for the one that requires to play something suggested by a PSN member.

Here's the draft.. Games marked in red are games that I don't know if they are valid for their category.

B1 Sci-Fi or Fantasy theme Vampire: The Mascarede - Cotorire of New York Blades of Time
B2 That You Can Beat in One Sitting Murdered Soul Suspect PS4 Light Fairytale Episode 2
B3 Overplayed (owned by >100000 players) Wipeout Omega One Piece: Pirate Warriors
B4 Favorite Genre Final Fantasy VII Remake PS5
B5 In-game Weather Effects RiMS Racing PS5
I1 Release Your inner Weeb My Hero One's Justice 2 One Punch Man The Seven Deadly Sins
I2 Recommended by a PSNP member
I3 Title Screen as Purple in It Lollipop Chainsaw Mary Skelter: Nightmares Nights of Azure
I4 Non-human sidekick Earthlock: Festival of Magic
I5 Spawned an Extended Universe BlazBlue CentralFiction
N1 No Jump Button Burnout Paradise PS4
N2 Strategy, Simulation or Management Fairy Tail Disgaea 6 Valkyria Chronicles 4
N3 Player's Choice anything
N4 That Gives You the Feels Voice of Cards
N5 Crafting Mechanics Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness
G1 Developed in a Foreign Country anything
G2 With mini-games in it Sly Minigames Yakuza: Like a Dragon
G3 Peripheral-based Sly Minigames
G4 You Think You Will Dislike The Order 1886 maybe something else..
G5 For Another PSNP Event ModNations Racers Dragon Ball: Xenoverse something with a 1 rarity for the Platinum difficulty rate event..
O1 Main Character as no facial heir Vampire: The Mascarade - Shadows of New York
O2 Frightening/Horror Bloodborne Corpse Party Psycho-Pass I Am Alive
O3 Racing or Sports Need For Speed: The Run
O4 DLC Pack or Standalone DLC Final Fantasy XV: Royal DLC
O5 Banned in a Country Injustice PS3

PS: Hope that the format isn't terribly bad..

Generally, if the game has it's own trophy list I would consider it a "full game" (exceptions being games that have a second trophy list)

Ideally, you would want to beat them in one sitting for the challenge, however, since we have real lives as long as you are confident you could theoretically beat it in one sitting, that's good enough for me. Use your own judgement.

I go by the tags for the game. If "Strategy" is listed, should be fine.

This is definitely one of the more difficult challenges. If the game *can* use it, it is acceptable, even you YOU don't use it.

Just completing the trophies is good enough. But I would consider that DLC acceptable for that challenge.

Ok, everyone above this post *should* be listed. Let me know if you are not or if there are any issues. Glad to see so much enthusiasm for the event! :]

Great! That clears a lot for me, and saves me some headaches..

Well, the minigames, I may revise it, because Yakuza is long.. or thinking about it for a second, FF7R Intergrade for Minigames and Ys IX for Favorite Genre will likely work perfectly! (And I get to postpone Yakuza Like A Dragon again..).

And I'm locked for Valkyria Chronicles 4 as my strategy game (since I feel that Valkyria Revolution doesn't belong to that Genre, even if it has the Tag, and the 2 others don't have the tag..).

Now I need a few suggestions for the "suggested by a PSNP user" one.

I have a somewhat long backlog (300 or so games by my count..), but I can always buy something new if it's interesting to me..

@Squirlruler  -quick clarification required, mate:

Is PSVR considered a peripheral... or a platform?

I ask because I have drawn both the "Platform Exclusive" challenge, and the "Peripheral Based" challenge...

... would a game that is 'VR Required' be considered "Platform Exclusive" (i.e. the 'platform' being PSVR,) or would that be classed as "Peripheral Based" - with the platform being PS4, using the peripheral of the PSVR?.... :hmm::hmm:

For what it's worth, my initial instinct was to consider the headset a peripheral... but then I remembered that some PSVR games need motion controllers, and others only use the standard controller... so that got me wondering if the headset itself would be considered a platform, with the optional motion controllers being the 'peripherals'...

I would consider VR platform exclusive if the VR headset is required to play. Otherwise I would consider it Peripheral.

Cool cool - I can work with that!

In terms of platform exclusivity, is it rendered ineligible if it’s also on stuff like oculus rift or the-likes? Or is ‘VR’ considered to be specialist enough that those are considered variants of the same overall ‘platform’?

(Sorry if this is getting in the weeds a bit - saying “piss off, you” is a totally valid answer to this question btw ?)

I would say that if it is on oculus or equivalent it is not exclusive. Would be comparable to PS4/xbone.

Fair enough!

I'll need to do some research - there must be some PSVR games that are only on the sony side...

...Detective Mode: ACTIVATE! ?️

What if it used to be a console exclusive and now is available on all platforms? Assuming it would still count and we can use the same ruling as the Banned in a Country?

That's a point... all those PC ports could really throw a spanner in the works on that front otherwise...

Ok hmm looking at my list customizable hats… My thought would be some sort of shooter usually has good custom options, anyone know any games that fit.

All the Little Big Planet games, and Sackboy's Big Adventure would be sure to meet this one!

Also - Little Nightmares II has custom hats as collectibles that can be worn in the game

Ideally, you would want to get the plat, but I'm fine with just beating the game.
