Move onto the superior PS4 version, at least there's that option now and that superior version doesn't have any online. They can never "open something just for a short time" when the entire server that was running it is down. IO Interactive wanted to reopen the servers of their game since they had to be closed due to the new general data protection regulation (GDPR). But that was a direct responsibility of Square Enix. The solution was as "simple" as transferring ownership of the servers from the publisher (Square Enix) to the developer (IO Interactive), but Square apparently refused. Your best bet is just to move on, because they won't do thing. Plus, there are contracts mode on new hitman games if you intrested. TheRedMaverick Posted January 5, 2022 Share Posted January 5, 2022 (edited) Your best bet is to see if anyone somehow managed to sniff the network traffic/collect packet data while the servers were still up and would be willing to host a fan-made server after re-reouting the DNS traffic (open source code in order for it to have this site's blessing). It's a long shot and there's probably not that much interest in this game specifically, but that's the only way I see it happening unfortunately.
