About 30 secs past the boss if you go the right way........If you don t have a light i d use a homeward bone. You could get the nasty headgear from the fire area at the end of the Solaire questline. The bonfire is just down a ladder that is to the left of where you meet patches. Its not a big deal if you are heading down there for a 'reason' to not have light and lose those souls, you ll make it eventually, its how most people do it and it wont make any difference, but if you havent finished with O+S then you are going to hit a roadblock and have a lot of fun getting back out again.
