Popular Post da-Noob123
Ok 2 months in a row I'm late with my monthly update - hopefully a trend that doesn't continue. o_O February Summary Original Starting PCG: 86.74% February Earned Trophies: 24 Goal PCG: 91.74% February Earned Platinums: 1 February Starting PCG: 88.3% February Games Started: 0 Current PCG: 88.58% February Games Completed: 4 Month Increase: 0.28% Total Increase: 1.84% Monthly Challenges Completed - 6 Complete the game with highest percentage on your list. (Minecraft PS3) Earn a trophy from each console you own. (PS3 and PS4) Get a UR trophy. Game must be at least two months old. (Fall Guys: Ultimate Fall Guy, Platinum Trophy) Complete all the multiplayer trophies in a game. (Doom 2016) Finish a DLC for a game you have already completed. (Killzone Shadow Fall: Intercept Co-op DLC) Complete the oldest (completable) game on your list. (Killzone Shadow Fall, 6 years 11 months) This month was very much dedicated to multiplayer grinds and my total trophies earned for the month was a paltry 24. However, that grind paid off with the completion of 4 games: Minecraft (PS3), Doom (2016), Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, and Killzone: Shadow Fall. I am really happy to have these all completed, especially KZSF as I now have all mainline Killzones 100% complete. This leaves only 2 of the 6 games I was hoping to complete this month, Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Rise of the Tomb Raider, unfinished. I powered through 2 chapters in Yakuza: Like a Dragon after hitting my first roadblock. The boss fight at the end of chapter 12 really cranked up the difficulty and I had to grind levels to get past it, on the last 2 chapters currently and the story is getting really good - some great twists. I didn't touch Rise but did make some progress in Crash Bandicoot when I couldn't take the MP grind anymore and just needed a change. March Goals First and foremost I want to get under 1,000 unearned trophies, I am at 1,029 right now so I only need 30 more trophies. I want to beat the campaign for Like a Dragon then, since I rented Resident Evil 7, I'd like to at least beat it on easy. Platinuming and getting a good chunk of RE7's trophies should get me under the 1,000 trophy threshold. I'd like to complete Rise of the Tomb Raider's Endurance Co-op but the MP grind of last month really gave me my fill of online for a hot minute so I might push that off for now. Once I get to 999 and possibly a little lower, I think I will finally start a new game but what to pick from my backlog... It's great seeing some new people wanting to join in, everyone's post really help encourage me to dig deep and complete more games. Especially some of those I have been putting off. I hope everyone has a great weekend and as my high school art teacher used to say: "Do nothing in excess!" January Monthly Challenges - 7 Complete all the multiplayer trophies in a game. (Minecraft PS4 and 3) Complete a nonplatinum game (Minecraft PSE - Set 2) Snag 100 Trophies Finish a DLC for a game you have already completed. (Minecraft PS4) Get a UR trophy. Game must be at least two months old. (Got a multitude of these from both Minecrafts) Raise your score by a whole PCG point. Earn a trophy from each console you own. (PS3 and PS4 in my case) Edited March 5, 2022 by da-Noob123 Typos
Popular Post Geridian
Wow, finally something positive to report: Started HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED on PS5 less then a week ago and got the platinum just now. Completion time: 6 days 1 hour. My thanks go to the devs of this game, allowing cross-play. But since I expect this game to get 2 or more paid dlc, we will see how long it will be at status 100% platinum ?. Wish you all a nice weekend. Popular Post stuthesheep
Week 9 STARTING PERCENTAGE 69.17% Mass Effect: Andromeda 90% -> 100% God of War III 0% -> 74% Week 9 ENDING PERCENTAGE 69.37% (+0.20%) A relatively quick and straightforward Insanity run finally puts Andromeda - and plat #40 - safely in the rear view mirror, 4.5 years after it first crept onto my profile. Attacking the backlog now with God of War III - managed to finish the story on normal in a couple of days, collecting all the various item and combat trophies along the way to keep the trend going of my weekly percentage increase being positive, which is a bonus. So all that's standing in the way of 100% there is a Titan difficulty run and the Challenges, but they're kinda kicking my ass all over the place atm. Suppose that's why they're called Challenges, but even so. Hopefully the luck will fall my way and I'll manage to get it done shortly. Not yet decided whether to use the glitch for the Titan run, it'll probably depend how long I spend failing these challenges by milliseconds. Played it for the last time end of August 21 and as far as I understand, I arrived at Kadara's Outcast headquarters for the first time. Will try to complete it as my next game.. but returning to games you stopped playing after more then 1 month has passed is hard, at least for me. I remember what happened so far, regarding the storyline, side missions and stuff. But still, I think that I should just restart the whole game because playing this game now from my last savegames feels .. odd. Also I reorganized my browser favorites for this game .. man, I really overdid it with finding information about this game. What was your starting point from your playthrough for this event? How did you handle returning to this game after some time has passed, since you played it for the last time? Thanks ☺️ Some people like to do weekly updates, some like to do updates when they finish a game that improves their completion. It's all up to you. I personally enjoy @Shadowlord87, @Man of Inaction and @Static_Rook post styles, but everyone is supportive of beating up their backlog. If you are looking for some quick completions to boost your percentage, have a look at these: Goosebumps - About 3 hours total with a guide, nice and easy point and click adventure which isn't taxing. Tales from the Borderlands - About 10 hours on a VN which you can do in 2 hour chunks. Very fun story if a little ludicrous. Kitten Squad - As terrible as this game is and made by PETA, the trophiea aren't hard, just a little bit of grinding to have this off your profile. 36 Fragments of Midnight - Once you've got over the annoying deaths and mildly frustrating gameplay, take it slow and finishing off the last trophies will take about an hour. Over 15 Ratalaika games - If you get all these done, your completion will jump considerably. Good thing is, each game to complete will take you roughly an hour, maybe two, each.
tonkie18
Thanks so much for your thorough response. Funnily enough I just made a list this morning of everything left to complete. It was really overwhelming there’s 100’s. But the way you’ve said it makes it feel more manageable Thankyou. I’m going to attack some today. I’m so stuck on some of them though so I just give up if they start to get annoying ?
StilRh
Managed to make enough progression to offset the addition of new game to my catalogue. I've drilled into Deep Rock Galactic, Muv Luv Alternative, Dying Light 2 and Sukuna: Of Rice and Ruin. I still want to add some new titles but I think until I get 2-3 platinums I'm going to keep my library closed for now. Have a great week! How did you handle returning to this game after some time has passed, since you played it for the last time? Since it had been so long since I last played it - and I barely just made it to the first planet and only got one trophy before tapping out last time - I just started from the beginning. Vaguely seem to remember giving up after trying and failing to use the jump jets to get over a small chasm a couple of times and thinking something like "Sack this, Imma play Fallout 4 instead" , so it was basically like playing a new game for me. Sounds like you're a decent way through, but might be worth starting again in case you missed something along the way. Depends how much spare time you have! I loosely followed a full text walkthrough on trueachievements.com since I was slightly concerned about the missable symbol trophy and that guides you through how to make sure as many trophies (including that one) as possible are unlocked in one run, including the relationship one - so you can't really go wrong.
Geridian
@stuthesheepFound the guide you mentioned. Yes, this one is definitively helpful. Thank you for mentioning it. Decided to continue my started playthrough and if I miss something, then I play NG+. Thought about it and feels like a waste of the time I spent in 2021 when I start fresh now. Also after the current main mission I am on (Hunting the Archon) only 5 or 6 main missions are left.. and all the sidequests I already completed.. I just continue and hopefully I will get the platinum in 2 weeks or something like this ?. Edited March 6, 2022 by Geridian Wording
Popular Post Llobster12
Update 9 (week 9) Games started (Jan 1 ---> current) (120--->129) (+9 from start of year, +1 from last week) Games completed (Jan 1 ---> current) (87--->101) (+14 from start of year, +2 from last week) Platinum Trophies (Jan 1 ---> current) (75--->86) (+11 from start of year, +2 from last week) Completion percentage (last week ---> current) 82.54% --> 83.09% (+0.55% from last week) Completion percentage (Jan 1 ---> current) 78.83% --> 83.09% (+4.26% from start of year) Goal: 85% ---- (1.91% to reach goal) Games I played this week: Call of the Sea (PS5) 69% --> 100% Platinum #85 achieved! I had finished the main story on the blind playthrough last week, and it took all of 2ish hours to wrap up collectibles with chapter select this week. It is a good game that I enjoyed. I'd recommend it if you like adventure/mystery games - especially if you like point and click adventure style games. It is short though, so I'd say wait for a sale. Aer: Memories of Old (PS4) 0% --> 100% Platinum #86 achieved! I enjoyed this quite a bit. This was the third of 3 indies that I downloaded last week when I felt like going through some shorter experiences that I'd wanted to get to for a while. (the other two were Thomas was Alone and Call of the Sea which I did last week). This is a minimalist open world adventure with no combat put really enjoyable flying mechanics and some light puzzles. The music is so relaxing and it was just the type of game I was needing. It's short - about 4-5 hours to 100% if you take your time like I did. Look for it on sale (i'm pretty sure it still is) if you want a short relaxing experience. The only downside to this one was the ending. The world building and mystery building was great and I was really invested. Then the story just sort of stops. It feels incomplete. I'm fine with a story that is open ended and gives room for interpretation... but this one just sort of felt like someone pushed stop during the final act of a movie. That being said, it didn't ruin the fun I had with it before the ending as this game was more about the experience and ambience than anything else. LEGO Marvel's Avengers (PS4) 12% --> 28% I did just finish LEGO Marvel Super Heroes a few weeks ago and was really burned out of the LEGO games. I didn't think I'd try to clean this off of my backlog so soon. I was planning on doing Kena instead, but it's been so long since I've played I just didn't have the energy in me to re-learn what I was doing and how the game works. So I killed time here instead and made some progress. Hopefully the grind isn't as bad as Super Heroes was. Up Next: - Make more progress in LEGO Avengers - Mayyyybe Kena - No progress last week: Kena. Happy trophy hunting everyone!
Popular Post Pauloxzak
Update #7: Starting completion rate (from the beginning of the year) : 55.12% Current completion rate : 56.13% (+0.09 from last update ~ +1.01% from start) Target rate: 63.12% (8% increase) Finally! 1% increase and going up, from last update I only did .09 however this is considering I have 2 new games ongoing so I think I did quite well still getting positive progress considering 2 new trophy lists on my list, this speed will definitely go down as I finish everything easy on my list but I gotta keep going if I even am to reach that 8% increase Completed this past week: Murdered: Soul Suspect - PS4 - This one was actually kinda interesting, but the game is visibly not very polished, end still managed to surprise me a little lol Ongoing this week: Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone - PS4 - 44% - I honestly thought that this one would be faster, but the amount of songs is quite big, however I'm doing steady progress Dragon Fantasy Book I - PSVITA - 4% - Started this one too but got kinda tired quite fast, I'll try to pick up the pace and maybe finish it this week Completed games during the event: Spoiler Guacamelee! 2 - PS4 Rain - PS3 Batman: The Telltale Series - PS4 Frobisher Says! - PSVITA Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons - PS3 Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse - PS3 The Playroom - PS4 Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon - PS3 Murdered: Soul Suspect - PS4 Edited March 7, 2022 by Pauloxzak correcting typos

Avengers has no open world. You can do almost every race with Quicksilver, so a car is not needed. Also I found the episodic style of the missions in Avengers more enjoyable, since every mission is tied to one of the movies. Hope, you will at least find some joy while playing this game. Imo all LEGO games with a large open world are just a terrible grindfest.
Popular Post Squirlruler
Update #9: Assassin's Creed II (0% -> 5%): New game started! I played Odyssey and wasn't that impressed with it. Was told that the earlier games were much better. This game was gifted to me so I can get a better feel for the series as a whole. I've just started so no real opinions on it so far, but I watched a recap of the first game and am excited to continue through it. Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni (50% -> 84%): Finished the two endings this week and completed all the collectibles. Now there are two modes to complete, then the grind starts. Hoping to be finished sometime next week, if things go well. Final Fantasy XIV (40% -> 40%): Triple Triad Cards 153 -> 173 I got the captain trophy, though it was a bronze and so didn't raise my completion up any lol. Figured out what I am going to do for the DoH Collectibles trophies, started grinding those out. 5K is A LOT. lol. Need to get set up for the DoL collectibles, haven't got that one situated. At least it is only 8K of those /s. Got a bunch of TT cards, think I will put a counter up there until I get them all. There are a bunch of dungeons I will need to run to get some of the remaining ones, so I might try running one or two with the NPCs to grind those out. Or maybe just run it non-level synced. One or two a night shouldn't be too bad, and should help slowly gather them. This game I expect to be playing well into the year, so progress will be slow.
Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 9. 3/7/2022 Starting PCG 50.02% Previous Week 50.98% Current PCG 51.01% Goal = 60% Games - Elden Ring 2% 12% Salt and Sanctuary (PS4) 4% 7% Nabbed a couple of easy trophies in Salt and Sanctuary to try and hit 51% before the big monthly update. I still came up just short, and then Elden Ring came out and that was that. I think I'm at 50 hours in Elden Ring and nowhere close to finishing. I keep meaning to stay on the main story path, but it's too fun to just run off and explore. I'll play other games again eventually, but for now it's all ER all the time. Popular Post da-Noob123
March Week 1 Update So most of this week was a wash, I either worked late or watched some movies as I was too tired to play. This weekend though made up for it. I finally beat Yakuza Like a Dragon! Truly a great game and man the last 2-3 chapters were a roller coaster ride. Now that I finished the campaign I am going step away from it for a hot minute as I need to grind to level 99 and maxout several jobs to get the last few trophies needed for that sweet sweet platinum. During that hot minute I will be playing Resident Evil 7 on Easy, maybe this time I'll escape Jack's clutches.
Popular Post gruffiiti
Monday Update Saw a little dip in my completion this week as I started into the many hours that will be Elden Ring. No regrets at all as the game is great so far. Didn't play too much else this week other than a couple hours in Planet Coaster and taking all weekends spare time up to finish A Short Hike which is supposed to be a 4-5hr game. Planet Coaster I did complete another scenario or two in career mode but not a lot of progress was made this week. Will keep chipping away in between other games as I'm not in a rush to finish this one up. I will likely have it complete by the end of the month though. Elden Ring Finally fired up this game on Tuesday and was really impressed with the new world FromSoft built. It feels familiar yet quite different and exciting. I'm pumped that we can now jump as that always felt like it was missing in previous games.Ive barely scratched the surface so far at about 10hrs in but the open world works really well and the co-op feels pretty smooth so I'm happy. Looking forward to more messing around with weapons/skills and many more boss fights.A Short Hike Heard good things about this game and with a busy weekend I felt like something light. It was a fun little game and kept me entertained. The motorboat challenge annoyed me as the controls weren't just push left or right as expected (at least I expected that) so I kept screwing it up. My daughter asked to try drive the boat and bested my time by half a min on her second try to destroy the challenge. Maybe I should call on her if I get stuck on an Elden Ring Boss Fight too... Haha. Stats 2022 Goal: 90% Starting Completion: 82.39% Current Completion: 85.14% Starting Platinums: 123 Current Platinums: 131 (+8) 2022 Goal Progress: 2.75% 2022 Goal Remaining: 4.86%
Popular Post Sofa King
So I blew off Okami because I couldn't hold off on playing Elden Ring, and now it has consumed me. It's an amazing game so far but it's also kicking my ass. I'm getting more into it now that I've level up a bit, but man at first it was like trying to break through a brick wall with a cotton ball! Okami is mostly finishing collectibles and endgame stuff, so I am going to try splitting time between these two games until I finish one or the other. Likely Okami. Otherwise nothing of note to report this time. Take care everyone!
Popular Post Spinacheq
Update 4 Week 9 AoC 22 (U4W9AoC22) Hi all and Happy Monday. I know my updates have been slipping a little bit, I use to be so good, life has just gotten a lot more complicated lately. Thanks for the monthly update @Squirlruler I always look forward to those as I use them to double check my tracking . Last week, which I didn't post about, I restarted Horizon Zero Dawn as I can't get into the new one until I finish the first one. Didn't make too much progress last week so I decided not to post. Week 8: 84.30% - 84.33% (+0.03%) Week 9: 84.33% - 84.48% (+0.15%) Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4): Restarted this game, or I should really say started this game as I only did the little kid part/hunting with Rost the first time I picked it up in 2017, can't remember why I put it down but so far I am enjoying the story. Making progress on both the main story and the collectables too. I tried to do a straight run the main story and then I would come back and clean up the stuff I missed along the way, but yeah every time I look at the map my brain tells me to go do something that I missed that I can't leave it that way. Upcoming week: More work on Horizon Zero Dawn. Happy Gaming all!
Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
A Tuesday update this time! Spend my Sunday/Monday with my wife in a Spa Resort, so I am super relaxed with a baby soft skin again ? Dark Souls II : Scholar of the first Sin - PS4 Not a lot of progress in terms of trophies but I do think I have done a good amount of the game so far. Had my share of dying of course but the game feels pretty balanced up until now. I have done an area called the Glutter which was pretty though; finding your way and not falling to your death too many times. I did spend a good amount in that area but I did found the Havel armor set and that shield is amazing! So worthwhile the time..... Current Status Plans for next week - Progress on Dark Souls II - PS4 - might start a quick game next to it Happy trophy hunting everybody! Popular Post Arophous
Well, after watching everyone (some) people go backwards with release of Horizon and Elden, I fell and got Gran Turismo 7… It was a pretty trophyless week until then, mainly playing Destiny 2 Witch Queen expansion content, then getting Sport mode unlocked in Gran Turismo 7, which entailed some story progression, not particularly great start to Online so plan is to just continuing racing now to finish the online portion first. This week is going to be: - GT7 - online racing mode for 3 ? (2 are distance driven and 1 is 50 races), prob get these before May. - Fall Guys - new event so planning to try and get 2/3 ? left for platinum this week. - Destiny 2 - the grind never ends… is fun though else I would have parked! Started: 75.09% Last week: 75.80% Current: 74.99% - 0.81% New games started: 1 - GT7 Milestone: None.
Gretchen27
February Update: yeah, I'm late posting. Two new games started, three completed. A good ratio I wouldn't expect to see this month. I'm playing games for the KYC event right now because who doesn't like making this one more challenging? They'll be plenty of time left in the year to meet my goals. Llobster12
**PSA** To those of you who (like me) have Fall Guys sitting on their profile unfinished: There is a new event for the next 5 days that makes it REALLY easy to rack up a bunch of wins and get Infallible! My son earned it earlier today without even realizing it. He was just playing it and was surprised to see the trophy pop up! So if you want to finally clean it off of your backlog, now's the time! On another note, now my only trophy needed to get the platinum for Fall Guys is Squad Goals (win a show while in a party of 3 or more). This event makes this pretty quick too. If anyone else needs it and wants to knock that trophy out this weekend, send me a message or something and we'll get it done.
