Hello all ?, little heads up from me.

Progress is going well so far. 3 main missions, Romance trophy (Matchmaker) and Insanity playthrough (Or 5 gold MP missions) away from the platinum.

This game would also be better, if it was not overshadowed by the problems while this game was in development, starting with pre-production. If anybody is interested, I advise you to watch this video: Mass Effect: Andromeda... 1 Year Later .. you will realize, why this game was destined to fail.

Mega Man Legacy Collection

I don't know what got me into this, but I am trying to go for the "Gold x50 - Earn 50 gold metals by completing Challenges." trophy.

Elden Ring - Was 18% Now 100%

Such an amazing game, loved the combat, story, summons, bosses. Everything. Didn’t have a single issue with the game besides dying 1000x on Melania. Glad to finally say that I have finished and platinum every Souls game FromSoftware has created. And I can’t wait for more.

Next plan is to go back and finish BloodBornes DLC and probably start Horizon Forbidden West. Can’t wait to see Aloy’s journey again.

Update Time

This week, I've managed to finish off the remaining DLC trophies for the base game for FFVX, going to tackle the individual dlc chapters this coming week I think.

Also knocked out a few fairly short and sweet games, jsut for something differant:

Glass Masquerade- Nice and Simple, fairly relaxing too.

Glass Masquerade- This was considerably harder, and each individual puzzle took quite a lot longer also.

Bridge Constructor- Impulse bought this aroudn the same time as I got the Portal spin off, its quite a bit harder than that one, had to rely on a guide for quite a few of the bridges.

Made very little trophy progress (only got 1) but have made good headway in my endgame grind for Yakuza Like a Dragon. The sole trophy I earned was for reaching level 70 for the main character, which is not even a footnote with how much leveling is needed for the true final dungeon. Currently all characters are level 99 and all jobs for all characters are at minimum level 30 so I now have all skills unlocked. I think I will get several to level 99 before attempting the final dungeon. Most of what I read regarding this last dungeon is it is mandatory to have at least 1 job at 99 but multiple are preferred. Hopefully I finally finish it this week.

Another positive update, can't grumble at a 0.5% increase. Not as much progress as I'd hope to have made last week due to being on unexpected toddler supervising duty for a couple of days, but still managed to find enough time to finish off all 75 speedruns, some levels being much more stressful than others. All that's standing in the way of 100% is trimming 4 minutes off my total time - I honestly don't know how tough that will be as it's been almost 4 years since I completed the first 30 levels, so hopefully there's plenty of wiggle room there. There's also one level-specific trophy which I spent about three hours and dozens of attempts the other night trying to crack, without success. Still, I only need to get it right once - even if that ends up being through a ridiculous fluke - and then I never ever have to worry about again, so that's all the motivation I need.

Another positive week, didn’t get a whole chunk of time to play but where I did managed to get GT7 to 64%, that includes having knocked out all online related ? such as races/distance with others.

Did some RDR2 as well but only did a round of collecting to get to rank 20… easy but rather dull doing collector role.

This weeks plan is to try to get some gaming in later in the week due to travel and weekend away at in-laws. Probably continue doing GT7 café at the moment, see if I can unlock everything at least and earn some more cars.

Update #11:

Assassin's Creed II (11% -> 18%):

Haven't been able to play this as much as I would like. Only got through one more chapter. I really need to sit down and carve time. Most of my time has been on FF14, which is great, just means other games get neglected lol.

Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni (94% -> 100%):

Finished the grind. It really wasn't all that bad. I think the biggest QoL improvement would be an option to replay the mission you just beat, instead of having to exit all the way to mission select and resetting everything up. It was also really nice to be able to track how much exp I had already earned. That definitely helped make the grind not feel as bad (seeing progress is always good).

Resistance: Burning Skies (0% -> 9%):

New game! Since Valkyrie Drive is now completed, time for a new vita game. I had started a couple smaller games to just knock out. I didn't want to start this without getting the multiplayer trophy first, since there are reports of the MP resetting single player stats. So, with that out of the way, and with finishing up the smaller games today, I should be able to start this with earnest. Pretty excited. I played the first one and loved it, and have the unobtainable Resistance 2 game on my profile that won't ever be S rated :(. Oh well. Maybe one day someone will find an acceptable work around lol.

Final Fantasy XIV (44% -> 45%):

Not much in terms of trophy progress. I finished off the level 70 Alliance raids this week, LOVE how they added Ivalice lore to ff14. Tactics is one of my favorite games. Really wish they would do a release with trophies for it... Been working on the main story too, up to the level 78 stuff! Pretty close to finishing 5.0, then do the post-expansion stuff, then off to 6.0! Triple triad cards are slowing down. I don't think there are that many more battlers to farm cards from. I have been starting to farm dungeons for their cards. Starting with The Avery, have run it about 5 times now, no card, but did get the Red Panda. But I don't think I can sell it, so if I get another one, RIP. The runs take about 10 minutes unsynced, so not terrible but not that fast either. At least I can solo it and not have to farm with others who might try to roll on the card. AND all the gear is mine so gets instantly turned into seals.

I have also finished Doodle Devil and am almost done with Mahjong Carnival. Both just simple games to stat pad. Have like a dozen more puzzles for Mahjong and that will be completed. Oh, and also using Mahjong for my Bingo Card, "Under-Played" square, since there are only ~250 owners lol.

Monday Update

Some decent progress this week but not much of it translated directly into trophies and/or completion gains as I think I only popped 3 trophies all week. I did avoid starting anything new this week which is good but its just a matter of time now as I have Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart waiting for me to get sucked into.

Planet Coaster

Started back into this game this week and am having fun completing the rest of the career mode I had left to do. Some of the challenges are pretty straight forward but the happiness ones have had me messing around with things big time trying to squeeze an extra percent of happiness out of the park guests to reach that high percentage required. I managed to knock out Rank 9 and Rank 10 this weekend. Only 5 challenges remain between me and that platinum trophy.

Elden Ring

Didn't put as much time into Elden Ring as I would have liked this week so progress was minimal. The Great Rune of Godrick has now been restored and am exploring the Liurnia of the Lakes area currently. Hoping to spend some more time with ER this week as plenty more exploring to do and bosses wont get beat without me playing (though Oleg may beg to differ).

Update 6 Week 11 AoC 22 (U6W11AoC22)

Happy Monday all!!

So I got more game time last week then I thought I would, I guess that can be attributed to forgoing sleep to game . I managed see a 0.43% increase going from 84.83% to 85.26%, I managed to get a platinum and complete a DLC as well. I think I hit at least one of the month goals but I haven't really looked into it so I will later this week.

Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4):

Got my platinum in this game just yesterday. So excited, the story was good, I was a little saddened that things like the cauldrons started challenging and had some length and the last 2 seemed to be rushed a little bit. Oh well that seems to be the norm nowadays. I still enjoyed the game, and the DLC. Though I did find breaking the DLC trophies for frozen wilds into 2 groups, feats and quests was bit strange. I managed to also complete the feats DLC this week but really all I was missing from it last week was hitting level 60, and since I still had over half of the main story to complete, I didn't think grinding it was necessary. There was a lot I enjoyed about this game, from story to the music. The exploration was nice, and even how some of the npcs would have slightly different dialog if you talked them after completing a different quest first that altered how they viewed your character. The only ones I found annoying they didn't do this with was the Hunting ground trials, I did the first ones in nora terrority and then put the rest off as I didn't have all the weapons or overrides unlocked. And then ended up completing the meridian quests to take out Redmaw, so I was full fledged member of the hunters lodge, but when I would go back to the hunting grounds I hadn't done after that, the guys running the trials would talk like I wasn't part of the group, though you would think they got the update I helped kill Redmaw the scourge of the hunters lodge. Oh well, minor thing really. I am not quite 100% done with this game I still need 2 trophies for 100%, those being complete NG+ and beat the game on ultra hard mode. Not sure if I will do that this week or not, as I kinda want to play something else, since this has been the only game I have played all month.

Upcoming week:

Not sure what I will do this week, it is going to be a short gaming week as I have mentioned before this Friday is my anniversary so I doubt I will game any for most of the weekend, and not sure how much gaming time I will squeeze in this week. I would like to complete Horizon Zero Dawn to 100%, but also I want to play something different as that has all I been playing. I guess we will see. Either way...

What happened last week: Well, this week I had more gaming time than usual. I spent it all of Elden Ring. Again! Nothing else to recap really. Sleep. Work. Elden Ring.

What I played:

Elden Ring - I'm very deep into the game now. I have one and a half areas left to explore in my blind playthrough, then I will consult some guides and find the legendary weapons, spells, etc that I might have missed along the way. I think I will manage to get the platinum in one playthrough if I save scum the endings. I think I am covered on the weapons people have said are missable. I've been super thorough on my main guy. I am currently running around the very snowy area you get to when you hoist the secret medallion. The other area I need to explore is the sewers beneath the capital. I did back up my save and make some attempts at the final boss and it seemed to go alright, but he always seems to pull out some new move I've never seen before that instant kills me during the second phase. Even still, it feels like getting through phase one cleanly is going to be the bigger challenge than overcoming phase two. I died probably 25 times or so before I decided to move on and finish everything else and try again.

Plans for this week: Once again, just working on Elden Ring. I really do think that I'll be wrapping up the platinum on PS5 this week. The PS4 platinum will come over time as I co-op with @gruffiiti. I have a bunch of mostly finished games I should revisit afterwards. Tales of Iron, Horizon Forbidden West West, Infamous Second Son, Guardians of the Galaxy etc, Also since I'm lagging way behind on my goal. I will probably knock out some easy platinums I have in the backlog in the coming weeks as well which will hopefully give me a little boost.

Started SOPFFO so I was down for most of the week, but I made enough progress that I would have ended up about even. Then a Legendary pattern finally showed up in the Fall Guys store so I was able to nab the Head Turner trophy. And then I broke down and bought a few easy games in the newest sale. Took care of Blind Men first since it was only about 30 mins to get both plats. So that's the only reason my PCG jumped a little.

I was hoping to make Elden Ring my 200th plat, but I'll settle for Stranger of Paradise. Still hoping to finish up Elden Ring by the end of the month.

A Tuesday update from me

Game time has been limited. Still I made some good progress anyway. Next week I will be on a business travel so dusting off the Vita for some trophy hunting on the road. Having said that I will not put an update next week but the week after that. Of course I will be enjoying all of your updates!

Dark Souls II : Scholar of the first Sin - PS4

Finished the game once. Still have NG/NG+ to go and I do hope I didn't made any mistake with acquiring all spells/miracles/etc. We'll see. I have enjoyed the ride so far, some bosses are a bit easy some are Souls hard. I was surprised how many players are still playing this game. I hope to finish it in the coming 1,5 week.

DriveClub - PS4

Been chipping away on trophies. To my surprise I actually finished a DLC too. probably the only one as I definitely not going to try to get all gold medals in this game.
