Popular Post Llobster12
Update 12 (June Update) Games started: Month: 133-->134 (+1) Year: 120--->134 (+14) Plats Earned: Month: 93--->95) (+2) Year: (75--->95) (+20) 100%'s Earned: Month: (107--->110) (+3) Year: (87--->110) (+23) Completion Percentage: Month: 84.95% --> 86.12% (+1.17%) Year: 78.83% --> 86.12% (+7.29%) Goal: 85% ---- (+1.29% beyond goal) New Stretch Goal: 90% --- (3.88% to go) Monthly update time! I meant to do these more frequently, but here we are. I'm well beyond my goal for the year, so now I'll add a stretch goal to reach the elusive 90% - never thought I'd get this far! I've been able to play a bit more than usual this month - getting back surgery and being in bed for a while will do that for you! Anyways, On to the games! Games I played this month: Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin (PSVR) 0% --> 100% (non plat game) I played this a few days before I went in for surgery as I knew it would be a while until I was physically able to play VR again. I adore the original Psychonauts game and have been wanting to get to this for a long time so that I can play Psychonauts 2. Loved the game and it was a short sweet experience. Psychonauts has a special place in my heart - I got to spend a day at Double Fine when it was in development, if anyone cares I can go story time on you guys about that. Nobody Saves the World (PS5) 0% --> 100% plat #94 Absolutely loved this game. It's by the same team that made Guacamelee and is so so well made. It's a top down dungeon crawler with a great class system (you can be everything from a ranger to a rat to a zombie to an egg to a bodybuilder to a horse and many many others that you can switch between on the fly. The gameplay is great, the combat system is amazing as you can mix and match skills from different classes and come up with some really cool synergies. I loved every second with this game and really recommend it to anyone. If you're looking for a shorter (20ish hours for platinum) game that is a joy to play pick this game up. I would also recommend SkillUp's review on youtube for a better understanding of what this game is about as that was where I found out about this game. Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS3) 18% --> 100% plate #95 Eh, it was alright. It wasn't bad, but didn't really engage me. It's a step above the first one, but I was honestly quite ready for it to be over several hours and levels before I finished it. I'm not sure what it was that didn't really gel all that much with me. I honestly had more fun with the first one although I can objectively say this is a better game. I think most people enjoyed it a lot more than me, so don't let me meh-ness dissuade you if you were thinking about playing this some time. Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) 10% --> 59% This has taken the bulk of my time this month. I've beaten the game and put in my gil farming time which from what I understand is the majority of the grinding in the game. I've still got all 64 C'ieth missions to 5-star and quite a few items and weapons to find and craft. I have all the money I need to buy the materials, so the worst of that grind is already done. The rest I should get as I complete the c'ieth missions. I'm not sure how long those missions will take, but I'm estimating I should be able to finish it this week. Urban Trial Freestyle (PS3) 33% --> 33% Didn't play at all this month. I'm not shelving it, I just never got around to it. I'll pick at it this upcoming month. Up Next: - (hopefully) complete FF XIII's post-game. - Pick away slowly and Urban Trial Freestyle. - I'll probably start Titanfall 2 after I finish off FF XIII - I'm also thinking about going back and doing the DLC for Bugsnax. Can anyone who's done that already give me an idea of how long or involved that is? Thanks in advance! Happy trophy hunting everyone! Playing too much Sunbreak on Switch to make any real progress on other games. I did add couple more cheap plats to the pile, and play a little of two summer challenge games, but that's it. Sunbreak has still got me in its grips so the next couple of weeks will probably be slow as well.

I have reached 55% completion of my game collection now based on the PSNP %age calculations for unstarted games! And I am finally under $800 of unplayed games! Hoping for at least 60% by the end of July! and Hopefully before the end of August, I'll get under $700 of unplayed games. And who knows, maybe I'll play through the rest of my Prince of Persia stuff to clear out some of my oldest unplayed games... Vulpine9Tails
Mid month update time. I have gotten like, nothing done this month. But I've added a few new games and maybe have finally gotten over that hump of "well I don't want to add this game to my trophy list yet but I have no idea what I am waiting for" attitude. I just want to play games I spent money on. I've so far only done one game this month: Ape Escape -> Platinum I do not have nostalgia for this game. I rented I think Ape Escape 2 when I was a kid and hated it so not sure why I wanted to play this so bad. I guess maybe because I could upgrade to premium for like $0.27 for two days and then cancel my subscription so I forced myself to stay up late platinuming it before I couldn't access it anymore. I didn't enjoy it much. The glitches were cool to use though and no I have zero shame using them. When I dislike a game but still want the plat I will do what I gotta do. It actually made the game more enjoyable so I wouldn't call it a regret or anything. I did what I wanted with it and that's that. The rest of the month will be adding more games probably and dropping my PCG even more than I have already. Stray will be played day 1 for sure. Not letting that one sit in the old backlog when it's one of my most hyped games ever. Trophy list doesn't look bad from what I can tell either; I absolutely cannot wait to play it. I've also been making progress in Fall Guys; I got Infallible so theoretically the plat is in the bag. Problem is I have half the races done and now I can't win another to save my life. The one legendary trophy is currently unattainable on the ps5 version as well so even if I get the other trophies I won't be able to finish the platinum until that's addressed anyways. Once it is fixed and I do get the races I will be sooooo proud of that one. Hope everyone is enjoying their games!

To this day, getting the BBE is still one of my proudest moments in gaming. I think I got it in 2 hours 25 minutes though I think I could have gotten down to 20 minutes but I didn't want to face Ocelot again. ? What was your BBE time? Ground Zeroes is pretty easy MGSV wasn't to bad either, just very long with a stupid amount of side quests/ content. My first July update: Following my hospital discharge, I decided to finally clean up The Last of Us Part 2. I started with an Very Easy Permadeath run and beat it on the last day of June. Then using a glitch to activate tweaks, I blitzed a Grounded run to get 100% on the first day of July. It was a great way to start the month. ? To follow it up I dived into a game I have been longing to replay for a few years now, Syphon Filter. This was my first shooter from way back in the day, lot of good memories playing this with my cousin and it was a wonderful nostalgia trip. It took a couple hours to get used to the controls but it has a built-in rewind feature that mitigated any potential aggravation. I love how you had to think outside the box in certain areas to proceed as it's not something that is in games too much nowadays, at least in AAA games. I got stuck a couple of times but still managed to platinum it in 2 days I think. After that, I went back to Crash Bandicoot... this game. SMH It can be sooooo infuriating but I have made some significant progress over the last week. For starters, I finally beat the d*mn thing! I then finished getting all 26 gems in the base game and the gem for the DLC level. I also completed 16/26 of the time trials (technically there are 27 but you can skip one of the base game time trials if you do the DLC level's one) and this is where I rage the most. Some levels are a breeze but others are just a huge pain in the a$$! I spent almost 2 days on the level "Road to Nowhere." I don't know if I have the mental fortitude for another 10 of them, right now at least. On the plus side though, cleaning up TLOU2 and CB has finally put up over my personal completion percentage goal of 90%!!! I am currently sitting pretty at 90.03% with only 920 unearned trophies left. So happy to finally hit this goal, the only drawback is that my 5% goal is still at least 1.5% or so away and I will need to some how access my PS3 backlog to reach it. Still, topping 90% has been a goal of mine for a few years now and joining this event and everyone's posts helped give me the drive to reach that goal. So, thanks to everyone here!

So, thanks to everyone here! 3:35 I think was my final time I believe, took my time with the first 2 act's, then blitzed the last 3. Other than the act 3 bike chase (and its rng nonsense in whether the turret gunners actually hit you or not), I didn't think it was that bad tbh, being able to save whenever you want is a lifesaver, I'd hate to do it all in one go. I've played Both Ground Zeores and Phantom pain previously, but long before the whole trophy hunting bug really took off, so I know roughly what to expect (Phantom Pain being the msot recent Game I played, but didn't platinum- September 2015) Hope you're feeling better Keep at it with Crash, Road to Nowhere and its harder version High Road are probably the 2 that suffer the most from the change in Crash's hitbox from the original, running along the ropes at the side seems much harder than in the original, I chose to do the Time Trial for Stormy Ascent, rather than High Road due to this.
stuthesheep
Week 27 STARTING PERCENTAGE 75.80% Just Cause 3 83% -> 86% Among Us 0% -> 100% Week 27 ENDING PERCENTAGE 76.14% (+0.34%) Again, not the most spectacular progress - although that may be more a downside of weekly updates than anything else - but still moving forward. Time was slightly limited this week due to a combination of Wimbledon watching and the distraction of the UK Government hilariously deciding to eat itself in midweek. Despite that, managed to mark off a few more of the tougher Just Cause 3 challenges, putting me at 103/112 - however I think I may have peaked there, I seem to lack the skills and patience to nail some of the tougher ones. Decided to move on from JC3 now after picking up a couple more trophies on the way (including an ultra-rare) to nudge the percentage up slightly. I'll maybe go back to it every now and then to try and keep chipping away at it, but in general I'm perfectly content with the progress made over the past couple of weeks. The game was pretty fun overall and I don't want to spend too much time getting myself overly annoyed with it for the sake of a couple of trophies. Battered off a relatively quick plat with Among Us for a Bingo Bonanza check-off, happily managing to get most of the trophies naturally without the need for resorting to boosting - although it was quite handy having my phone on standby to give me a backup player for a couple of the later ones. It was a lot easier than trying to decide which game from my backlog to take on over the next week.

Not too shabby. I only got the time I did following a video guide with commentary by a former world record holder in completing the BBE. Dude was amazing, he showed how to skip unskippable cutscenes and do some crazy moves like roll into a guard so they stumble into another one and then stun them both with the stun knife. Yeah the bike chase was probably the hardest part of BBE and thank you, I am feeling a lot better. I think Stormy Ascent will be the next time trial I will go for actually. Between the level itself and the bonus level, I probably died 200 times but my successful run was probably under 10 deaths so I feel good about it. For now at least, the timing of some of the stairs and platforms is still tricky. It'd be neat if there was a way to practice specific sections at will so to speak.
Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
Hello fellow completion hunters! I have been on a motor trip last week so less gaming time. Even though; I did hit a new milestone: I am above 70% again!!!! Battlefield 2042 - PS5 I think I have still 5 extractions to go in order to hit the required 25....getting there...slowly Reverie - PSVita I have a large PSVita physical collection and decided to actually play a new game for a change. Why collect games if you don't play them? Some people recommended Reverie and they were right. Very laid back game. Some say it is a Zelda clone but I have to admit I never played any Zelda games. Easy plat too. Borderlands 2 - PS3 This is my new game to finish this month. I started the game on the Vita years ago but the frame rate drops were terrifying and on top I found out that some DLC was not available at all on the Vita. I bought the GOTY edition for the PS3 and I am having so much fun again. I really love Borderlands games, the humor and crazy guns are hilarious. Also a nice amount of unearned trophies to gain.... No progress Far Cry 5 + DLC (3/4) - PS4 Drive Club + DLC (1/8) - PS4 Steamworld Dig - PSVita Current Status Plans for next week - Continue on Borderlands 2 - PS3 - Continue grind on BF2042 - PS5 Happy trophy hunting everybody! Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 26. 7/11/2022 Starting PCG 50.02% Previous Week 54.53% Current PCG 54.72% Goal = 60% Games - Child of Light 38% 100% 7/8/2022 √ Letter 7/10/2022 The Bear B 7/6/2022 Still on my Sunbreak kick, but I managed to make some progress thanks to a few easy games. I really enjoyed Child of Light, and I ended up liking Root Letter way more than I thought I would. Plus I learned how to make the "√" symbol on the keypad (it's Alt+251). Both of those were Summer Challenge games as well so it was nice to get them done for that. I picked up a few games in the Sci Fi sale that I haven't started yet, but also added on The Bear B for another quick plat. I've got like 5 games I want to start soon so my % will eventually take a hit, but I'm still aiming for 55% before the end of the month. I'll have to pick up the pace to hit 60% by the end of the year, but it's still doable if I keep plugging away at it (and throw in some more easy plats here and there). Have a good week!

StilRh
Hey guys. Hope it's been a good week. Minor chipping damage as the games I'm playing are not giving up trophies easily. Popular Post Arophous
Been rather busy with work so didn’t get chance to do update previous week, however have managed to hit one of my annual goals and made a decent dent into completion %! Played through the entirety of Abzu, nice chill game - got is on new tier of PS+. ? we’re pretty simple, just collectibles and couple of hidden mechanics. Also completed my first playthrough of Horizon Forbbiden West and then managed to complete the platinum trophy - apparently managed 18 non story ? in a single day off Last week!! This also made me hit 40 plats, my goal for the year, yay! I need a long break before going back for NG+, did Zero before so need a open world break! I then turned to a backlog game which I played through but never got the plat, Beyond two Souls, really interesting storyline and like Detroit good to see different impacts in story - do just wish the obscure all endings seen was a bit clearer, almost had a panic when the ? didn’t pop… needed to have Jodie die again and it popped… phew. Nice fairly rare plat and 1/3 games tied to PS+ I wanted to complete. So this week, I went back and looked at times to plat/complete what’s on my profile and Last of us 2 seemed the country mile winner, so continuing my first playthrough, 2nd will be collectibles on NG+. After that I’m toying between God of War to plat or Bloodborne… both I don’t have their saves for so would be a restart. Have a good week all!! Started: 75.09% 2 weeks ago: 77.70% Current: 79.78% New games started: Abzu Milestone: PS+ game completed & over 40 plats now!
Popular Post gruffiiti
Update This will have to do for my end of June update. I was away the past two weeks camping off grid with hardly even being able to check on my work stuff piling up. I am back now and ready to tackle some more backlog games. Here is what I have been up to since last update. Elden Ring Completed this game in June. Total hours into it was somewhere slightly north of 130hrs. Highly recommend this to any Souls-like fans out there. I really hope there is significant dlc for this game as it was excellent. I was a bit sad when this was done but was also a bit relieved as I really needed to get back to whittling down my ever growing backlog. Memoranda Its been almost a month since I finished this game and besides it being a point and click game I honestly cant recall much about it. I guess Memoranda is not very memorable. In this case Id avoid. Alba: A Wildlife Adventure When I first came across this game I dismissed it as a silly little kiddie game just by its looks. Later I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised it was actually pretty decent. Id put this up there with the likes of A Short Hike and The Touryst (both of which I enjoyed a lot). The premise of the game is to collect photographs of various wildlife around the island the game is based on and it was good fun trying to find them all without looking up a guide. Tera Decided to finally bite the bullet and complete this game while it was unclear if the console servers were getting switched off at the same time as the PC servers. Had a bit of a shock when logging back in after a couple years to find my near max character was completed gone off the games servers. Not sure what happened but I had to restart and level up from Lvl1 again. This made this game much more tedious than I was hoping for. In the end I managed to still hit my goal of getting the 100% before the end of June. Happy this one is finally done as it was one of my oldest uncompleted games. The Artful Escape First game I tackled once I upgraded to the new PS+ EXTRA. It was rather short but I enjoyed it a fair bit. The story is way over the top yet at its core it was something everyone could relate too. Even with its minimalist gameplay it packed in a lot of charm and kept me engaged throughout. We Were Here Too Played this game with @Man of Inaction. It was good fun trying to figure out the puzzles together and work through the game. Will likely do We Were Here Together soon too. Everybody's Golf Slowly making progress and have ranked up to level 6 now. Just need to beat 3 more challenge characters before they start appearing daily in VS mode. Then get my fish on and manage a couple trick shots. On track to knock this out sometime in August I think. The Adventure Pals Been playing this off and on with one of my smalls and we have been having fun with it. Will have to put more time into this now that school is out and bedtimes can be stretched a little. Pretty fun game though if you play in co-op. Popular Post CptToffer
Hey guys. Long time no speak. Things went off the rails a bit in March! After one infection, there was another and another... And another ? But, we're back! I took some time off from gaming (and a lot of other things) and just rested. Got myself a new job and a better work life balance in the process. Hopefully I'll have some trophy news soon. I've chipped away here and there and my starting percentage of 49.21% is now smack bang on 50% Whoop whoop! Target is 55% which is still doable this year. I'll maybe chuck an update out at the end of the weekend. Hope everyone is doing well, some of the progress looks great ??
Popular Post da-Noob123
They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. This week I was insane for 2 different reasons. The first one being the time trials for Crash Bandicoot. I breezed through half of the 10 left I needed, slightly struggled on the next 2 or 3, and then there was the freaking walls I hit that were the Sunset Vista, High Road, and Stormy Ascent. I spent maybe 30 minutes on Sunset Vista and said screw this, I hated the Lost City level and this was it's harder version. It takes like 4 minutes and I only wanted to do one more level of that length - Stormy Ascent. So I went to the level that is supposedly the hardest and most unfair in all of the Crash Trilogy, the High Road. It was definitely hard but it is also incredibly short, being perfect for less a minute and twenty seconds is much easier in my opinion then the 3-4 minutes Sunset Vista would have taken. After 5 or 6 hours over 2 days, I conquered the High Road, 25/26 time trials were completed. 1 time trial left and it was by far the most infuriating. I have read that many people think that Stormy Ascent is easier than the High Road and opt to skip it in favor of Stormy Ascent, I took the Road less traveled (ba dum tssh). In all seriousness though, Stormy Ascent tested me like no other level did. Both the High Road and Stormy Ascent require fast and precise jumping but whereas the High Road was short and sweet, Stormy Ascent just never ended. Over 5 days I spent probably 15 hours running Stormy Ascent over and over. This level has stairs that appear and disappear, birds that you have to jump on but disappear afterwards, and moving tiles of various speeds. I had to internalize the timing of all these things and even then almost every jump in this level was a leap of faith. Luckily this level has an incredibly generous time requirement so you can spend a few moments timing your jumps to ensure your next series of jumps are lined up correctly but even then so much can go wrong. A bad landing, using the wrong type of jump, a random fluke, etc. Eventually though, I did it, I completed my perfect run, shouted in elation, and promptly deleted the game from my console. I have no intention of going through hell again even if 2 and 3 are supposedly easier than the first game. As for the second reason of me being insane, I have previously mentioned how my PS3 no longer reads discs but I never mentioned how I occasionally pop a disc in just to test and see if I will get a different outcome. This week I went to the library and decided to rent Darksiders for the PS3 and see if by some miracle I could finally finish the platinum for it. My miracle was granted, my PS3 read the disc and between runs of Stormy Ascent I played Darksiders. I earned the platinum yesterday evening and it is currently my longest game to complete clocking in at a whopping 12 years, 4 months, and 1 week. I don't know how long my PS3 will continue to work so I'm going to do everything in my power to get through my disc based backlog on it for the time being and maybe, just maybe, I'll hit my 5% goal now.
