I had the goal of reaching 100% on my profile, this year, but because I've been fairly busy with work. And, because I'm in the middle of a fairly time consuming game, that goal might be a bit too much to ask for. Current % : 95.85% Goal % : 98.00% Finishing Genshin Impact is my current goal. After that, I'd like to finish The Last of Us 1 as well (Already did all the MP stuff, so only the SP stuff left.) Dark Souls 1 PS3 : I only need to do one more playthrough for a couple boss souls, so that shouldn't be that hard. The biggest time sink is going to be either Red Dead Redemption 2 or Assassins Creed Odyssey. Stopped playing RDR2 because I rage quit after not being able to find the Panther for weeks. (Deleted my save game in a fury.) Stopped playing Odyssey because... it... was... sooooo boring. And, because I'd like to start Elden Ring somewhere this year as well. I wouldn't even attempt the end game content without that, depending on the difficulty level. I was doing the medium difficulty and it was hard going at points. I'd then focus on Muspelheim. It's the most forgiving of the three end game bits and decent for practicing. I'd then start looking at Niflheim but start introducing runs at valkyries. The practice will be good and they are the hardest challenge. Remember to change out your amour and weapon load outs, especially for Niflheim. Shout out to my man @n0sebuster_70s for taking the time to earn them with me. I've got a few left to get but a big time sink to finish the collectables. Control Haven't gone back to this yet. Again, only one trophy for the platinum and then the DLC. Deep Rock Galactic Passsss currently. Just pass. Risk of Rain In the bin with you, ya bam. Dead Space One trophy left. This is going to take a while (final playthrough). Battlefield V Assault and Medic class done. Started on Support. Going to need to boost this for the other trophies.Untitled Goose Game Got a handful more trophies for this. I'm not blasting through it cause it is being used to play games with my daughter. Good fun though.Need For Speed: Heat Got a few more for this too. Jesus there are a lot of collectables. Going to take a while. New GamesCounterSpy I played this years ago but via someone else's PS4. Managed to get it in the recent sale and looking to grab the last four trophies. Overall the progress is super slow and it is a bit gutting that I've not got that far but I'm splitting my time in a lot of different ways. I remember it being a solid game and once you get in the flow of things, not too bad. As got MGS5, I've not done any of the multiplayer stuff. Is it worth even bothering at this stage. damage_6-9 Posted July 31, 2022 Share Posted July 31, 2022 Well, that's me done for July... my original plans got turned on their head, I was going to stop when I reached my 41,000 milestone, which would have had me on 1,666 trophies for the month. ..... but then I went and caught me some COVID, lol So I ended up with 2,556 trophies which is a new high, and gives me an increase of 1.28% Still have 37.5hrs of quarantine to go and am getting a bit stir crazy, might have to have a crack at knocking over the Shadowfall MP trophies... but have had it for 8 years, haven't touched it for the last 7, lol 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sticking to doing a blind playthrough first time around, but I am following the advice of the trophy roadmap and having a 'no upgrades' Normal run to kick things off. Stuck at a bit of a roadblock with the Chapter 10 end boss who is absolutely crushing me. After repeated failures though I think I've finally nailed down a strategy which looks like it could work, I just need the execution to go with it - something which is a bit of a challenge for a man of limited skills like myself. It's gonna happen sometime in the next few months anyway. A busy week at the office hasn't helped and the three DLCs bump up the game's overall percentage a fair bit, so only going up 5% from last week isn't quite as unimpressive as it looks. Yes stealth is still important but the time bonuses are huge, video guides can show the best strategies and typically don't require a ton of skill. MGSV (PS4) doesn't have any MP trophies but it does have at least 2 online ones as far as I can recall. The first being invading someone's FOB and the second being building the Nuke. The PS3 online was taken down either last year or this year to my knowledge. Looking back, it was actually a productive month, despite not feeling like it. I completed the DLC for Bugsnax. Loved it. The game grew on me when I got the platinum for it awhile back and was excited when they announced that there was going to be DLC for it. Right after, I completed South Park: Stick of Truth, which was sitting incomplete for month only because I played it with my brother-in-law for fun, AND, to stay on the tradition, we also played South Park: Fractured But Whole ? Right after, I thought of tackling Star Wars Battlefront but I hate it. Was ready to quit but found a group of great guys and they're carrying my ass. I pretty much complete Star Wars Battlefront II but haven't popped the trophy. I'm just waiting to get done with the first one to pop the second one. In the meantime, I did pop Shadow of Colossus. That game I LOVED. To stay in the theme, I think for the month of August, I'll do The Last Guardian, since they're the done by the same team of developers. Not sure I'll hit my goal but I'm on track to get to the 90% at least. We're gonna keep pushing for it though. Do you recognize that feeling of a game that is totally wearing you out? In my case Borderlands 2. Don't get me wrong; I do like the game but all the DLC comes with 35+ missions to complete and it feels like a mountain to climb it. On top every DLC has a raid boss which is meant to defeat with multiple players, unless you our level him of course. I really need to take a step back from this game or at least have a different approach than completing it in one run. So I decided to upgrade my PS Plus subscription to premium for the next 6 months......I know as if my back log list is not big enough ?. But I really wanted to play Stray and it got some other smaller Indie titles in the catalogue too.... Borderlands 2 - PS3 Finished the first DLC 'Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's booty', expect for the raid boss. Although enjoyable it was just too long after completing the story line of the main game. Also leveling up doesn't go as fast anymore as the enemies are couple of levels lower. I will return for that raid boss when I am level 50 (which I need to be in the main game for 2 trophies too) Battlefield 2042 - PS5 Extracted a couple of times but still no trophy ?. Must be me that has miscalculated it. I need 25 extractions and I cannot be far off in my view. .... Stray - PS5 Fresh game! really nice puzzler with an interesting story. Nothing to complicating so far but enjoying the ride. Started a new job and gone back to uni so haven't had as much time but super happy with the progress! Finally hit 80% completion so close to my goal for the event. Demon's Souls is almost complete. I have like 10 or so bosses in NG+ to beat and then I just need to get a couple things and will be done. Man, this game is incredible. Very excited to start Dark Souls/Elden Ring afterward. I put Dead Nation on the back burner since my co-op partner wants to do it for halloween. I then started Xenon Valkyrie+, which has been really hard lol. There is no way to get a backup save so I have to do this roguelite legit. I have almost gotten to the final boss with one character though, and play throughs are getting easier to do. I started Borderlands 3 with my brothers. Slow going since we are only playing once a week, though once we beat it, I will be running through everything to do clean up. Don't remember if I mentioned it, but I am officially in Endwalker in FF14. Once Demon Soul's is wrapped up, I think I will go hard into ff14 to get lots of that done. Anyway, enough of my rambling. It was quite an effort with many boosting sessions, so much that I didn't even want to try going into the Killzone shadowfall and mercenary boosts with such a short notice cause I was burned out from overwatch. Summer Holidays took up a bunch of time this month but I did manage to complete 3 games this month and get another 3 ready to finish with minimal effort. The rest of my gaming time was spent on plugging away on longer platinums that likely I will be able to complete sometime in August. Also finally made some decent progress towards my end of year goal. The Suicide of Rachel Foster Was an interesting walking simulator with puzzles to solve. Short but sweet. Lake A chill game delivering mail in a small lakeside town. Story that was included with this game was alright too. We Were Here Together Also played this game with @Man of Inaction. The puzzles were much more complex this time round but pretty neat you get to play part of the game in the same areas and not completely separate. Deliver Us the Moon Bought the PS4 version awhile back and was waiting on the PS5 version to be released before I started it. Really enjoyed this game and figuring out what happened on the Moon so I am excited there will be a Deliver Us Mars "sequel?". Afterparty This game didn't click with me the first time I played it as there was even more chatter from the characters than in Oxenfree. Went back to it this month and did enjoy the 2 playthroughs I did and the humor was done really well. 35MM Played this on the weekend and ended up getting 2 of the endings done but will have to speedrun the game one more time to get the last ending. Shouldn't take more than an evening though I don't think. Everybody's Golf Continuing to make progress in this game. I have knocked out about half of the VS characters now and only have 2 of the secret VS characters to unlock yet. NPC gallery is full except for the last level. Will plug away at it here and there but I should have it done by the end of August. The Adventure Pals Restarted the game to get to the point of the one missable trophy in the game (that we just happened to miss of course). Popped the trophy for giving the old mans dirty underwear to the whale and did a quick speedrun of a level. The rest I will wait to do with my daughter when we have the time.
