I need to do base mp and apparently you need a second for resupply.  Have no intention of getting 100%

Hi guys. First week has been ok. 2 new platinums (Death's Door and Untitled Goose Game), I'm not going to sustain this rate over the course of the year I'm sure.

First update and it's only Watch_Dogs this week. After nearly 8 years finally got it to 100% which, for me, is a good way to start the year but I hoped to do a little more. Hopefully I can crack on and do a little more over the year, even with work.

The online is still very active surprisingly. There have been only a few occasions where I struggled to find a match on any type for like 15 minutes. The dlc maps by far are the most difficult to join. I was surprised yesterday that Death Star was running. So I got in two Infiltration match wins out of the ten needed. I think I had a few before so maybe find it active again and I can finish that one. What I don't like are the cheaters. I may not be the best player but in some matches if I am getting just one hit killed and I am causing you zero damage when I had the drop on you. That is irritating. It happened alot last night playing fighter squadron. The same player getting me with a one hit kill and they were not even close to me on the map. That was during those death star maps. So enough whining now. Here is what my goals are right now.

 

First I have to unlock Krennik’s weapon. To do that I need 25 kills as that hero. I think I am now at 14. I am doing hero vs villain battles to get these as it is the fastest. Problem is he sucks. Weakest abilities i believe out of both sides. His weapon is a slow six shooter and a slow to recharge long distance shot. I tried to do some last night but I kept coming up on the rebel side for like 5 straight matches. 
 

After that I have to get 30

kills with the unlocked weapon. Luckily kills you did with the weapon while playing as Krennik count from the previous step. As a crappy weapon though will be a grind again. 
 

I also bounce around to get a bit closer to other trophies such as the defensive kills in drop zone and the 10 wins in the two dlc match types. There is still enough of a presence in this game that most can be done legit without a boosting group. When it comes to offline maps, I will need a good partner after I finish the multiplayer.

So progress has gone slightly back, as I added Red Dead Redemption 2 which was a gift from my wonderful wife this xmas!! Also have Resident Evil 0 and 2 waiting in the wings to be started up… so tempted but I must get through RDR2 story first.
 

Having said that I did manage to hit a milestone, 2k trophy for 65 poles in Gran Turismo Sport. Aiming to have the online done by the time 7 comes out then consider whether I add 7 to my 2022 playlist.

I've had this problem but also not sure how many I need to get to make the 5%. However I'm close to about 3 platinums so hopefully that will help ?

Just add find your total and then say I want to see what 55% looks like, I subtract 45% and tells me what I need to get my unearned too

Another Monday, another update!

 

Work is taking too much time at the moment so not a great lot of time to game. Nevertheless I made some progress...

 

Demon Souls - PS5

This is typical a game you cannot pick up for half an hour. Actually I manage to play last Sunday and made some progress slaying two Demons. Hope to pick this up again next weekend.

 

Dead Nation + DLC (1/1) - PS3

Had my Morbid run, finding all loot and getting to round 10 of the DLC left. Since time was scarce this was a nice title to finish, chapters don't last longer as 20 - 30 minutes. So this is my first game finished this year! Hurray!

 

BF 2042 - PS5

Doom 2016

Progressing well, have finished about half the levels while finding all secrets and the likes. It also allows me to upgrade the weapons and runes while playing through. It's going to be a while before showing any trophy progress I think. Multiplayer is a blast, and I've completed my first DLC pack, now working on the rest.

 

Next week:

Looking to finish off some more levels in Doom, starting A short hike and playing some more Battle Rock Galactic.

Star Wars Battlefront II
Can't believe I'm about to say this but I've only got to get to Level 50 and it's finished. I'm currently Rank 48 so that will be done this Wednesday during the Triple XP Event. That will be my first UR Platinum too, provided it stays UR till then. Very excited.

Assassins Creed Unity 
Single player campaign is done. I've got to get the riddles done as well as a couple of odds and ends like one or two sync trophies for the main missions. Then it is on the collectables which I'm about 75% done with and finally the co-op stuff. 

My Friend Pedro
Just got to S-rank every level. Currently done about 26 out of the 40. I'm not the best at this sort of game so that is probably going to be a case of doing one or two and then coming back to it throughout the next few months

New Games

Control
As is tradition, I play a new game on Christmas Day and this was top of my list. Done a little bit of it thus far but only got about ten out of the sixty trophies. Will probably focus more on it once Battlefront II and AC Unity is done. 

Deep Rock Galactic 

Gonna hate myself for starting this in a few years time but I couldn't help it. It's loads of fun on the PC and I know it's going to have tons of support from the developers and the community. Mainly focusing on single player trophies at the moment which has helped me net a bunch of ultra rares (can't claim for this event but my general numbers are low). This is going to be a long term project.

Persona 4 Golden - VITA - 74% ATM (+3%) Entered the first dungeon and farmed a lot of stuff, including beating the Reaper, will definitely do it more to get more ultimate weapons for the Margaret battle, only trophy that worries me here is the Hardcore Risette Fan since there's no in game tracking method

Genshin Impact - PS5 / PS4 - 38% ATM (+0%) Just some small progress over here too

Persona 4 Arena - PS3 - 27% ATM (+0%) Picked this one back up to check on the hard parts, Challenge mode is surprisingly easier than I thought, though no easy task but I believe I'll eventually get there, however the real villain is Score Attack Mode which makes me wonder if I'll even be able to finish this game, probably not

Been playing through the DLC. Got two boss no hits done but stuck on the distillery since I can't continue without voiding a trophy so I guess I will just have to skip it and come back on another playthrough. Annoying but w/e. Did get the rest of the DLC, probably have 2 more play throughs to get everything. One at BC5 and one hopefully at a 0BC for easiness.

 

Lego DC Villains (8% -> 12%):

Played this a little bit. Made some progress. Not a huge fan of the lego games, but they are decent enough. Playing with the kiddo for this one.

 

Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart: (13% -> 17%) :

Still chugging away at this one. Going back and playing through all the side missions I originally skipped to hopefully save some grinding at the end for the item creation. Almost finished with them and will continue with the story. And hopefully with the added levels will make it easier lol. The one mission I am on was one shotting my girls and I can't have a single one fall through this mission, making it annoying.

 

Was pretty busy IRL, getting kitties and the kiddos birthday so not much gaming time. Hopefully things start to slow down and I can have some more time for it. At least my % hasn't gone down lol. Keep up the good work everyone.

I feel your pain on the IRL front. I've got the next five weeks off work but I'm looking after a nine month old so... I can't tell if gonna get loads of gaming done or not at all ??

Made it back to my starting PCG! I was enjoying Necromunda Hired Gun but then it crashed during a post-mission cutscene and corrupted my save. That was enough for me to send it to the backlog pile for now. I picked up the Quake remaster instead since it's on my winter challenge list and made some good progress. Should be able to finish it up this week aside from the one bugged trophy. Just Cause 2 is a double challenge game for me (winter + ultra rare) so I finally started on that. It's really fun so far even with the PS3 jankiness. Darkest Dungeon is for yet another challenge, but I'll be taking it really slow. And Skyrim is something I'll probably just play a little here and there.

 

Next update I should actually be in the positive. Hooray!

The Forest - Was 88% Now 100% 

 

Was working on this game last week and now I’ve officially finished it. This is an Ultra Rare platinum, at 4.19%. The game wasn’t hard after you beat the game for the first time as you get creative mode after. Which makes 100 days a lot easier as I let my PS5 run idle. But glad to finally finish this game after months. (I’ll claim that ultra rare trophy challenge)

 

Maneater -  Was 83% Now 100%

 

Got the platinum back when it came out on PS+. But I was skeptical on finishing the DLC until they fixed the bugs that resulted in trophies not popping. When I heard that the game is fully fixed I went back and finished the Truth Seeker DLC

 

Ark: Survival Evolved - Was 1% Now 2%

 

Progress is Progress. But I’m not going for the trophies like a trophy hunter. Like The Forest, this is another game my sister and I are currently playing. We love survival games so this one is being a blast. Probably won’t get the platinum for this game any time soon. I’ll probably use admin perms after we’re fully done playing this game. (Unless I actually manage to get them all without it) Till then I’ll mention it as it’s being done legit currently.

Ah those first 6 weeks are hellish but I think I managed a few rounds of Command and Conquer and that was it ?
